Anime Apocalypse just received a major update, and this one introduces some of the biggest content added to the game so far. Players can now try to unlock the very first Majestic rarity ability called Ghost of Shinobi, along with a brand-new Wave Defense mode and several fresh redeem codes.

The update focuses heavily on combat progression and stronger endgame abilities. Since Majestic rarity skills are much harder to obtain than normal abilities, many players are already trying to figure out whether Ghost of Shinobi is actually worth using. In this guide, we will go over all of the new skills, damage values, cooldowns, the new mode, and the latest Anime Apocalypse codes.

How to Get Ghost of Shinobi in Anime Apocalypse

Ghost of Shinobi is the first-ever Majestic rarity ability added to Anime Apocalypse. Players can obtain it through spins, although the drop rate is extremely low. Because of the rarity, most players probably will not unlock it immediately unless they are very lucky or have saved a large amount of spins beforehand. Since it is currently one of the rarest abilities in the game, Ghost of Shinobi is mainly considered an endgame or collector-style ability for now.

Ghost of Shinobi Skill Showcase

The new Majestic ability comes with several different attacks, including a powerful awakening move that deals massive burst damage.

Here is a full breakdown of every skill.

Fire Breath Skill

Fire Breath is the first skill in the Ghost of Shinobi moveset. When activated, your character breathes fire forward and damages enemies in front of you within medium range.

Fire Breath Stats

  • Damage: Around 2,300
  • Cooldown: About 6 Seconds

This is honestly one of the smoother abilities in the kit because of the low cooldown. You can use it frequently during fights, making it reliable for both grinding and boss battles.

The combination of decent damage, good range, and fast reuse time makes Fire Breath one of the best skills in the entire ability set.

Astral Spin Skill

Astral Spin is an area damage move where your character spins and attacks nearby enemies.

Astral Spin Stats

  • Damage: Around 1,600
  • Cooldown: Around 10 Seconds

This move performs very well against groups of enemies and can also help during boss fights when enemies crowd around you.

Even though the damage is slightly lower compared to Fire Breath, the area coverage makes it extremely useful during wave clearing.

Astral Slash Skill

Astral Slash focuses more on direct burst damage through a single attack.

Astral Slash Stats

  • Damage: Around 2,300
  • Cooldown: Around 14 Seconds

While the damage itself is still decent, many players feel the cooldown is a bit too long for what the move offers. Compared to the first two skills, Astral Slash feels less efficient overall.

It still works fine in combos and helps increase total DPS, but it is not the strongest part of the moveset.

Tornado Twister Mastery Skill

The mastery ability for Ghost of Shinobi is called Tornado Twister.

When activated, the skill creates a tornado that damages enemies in front of you.

Tornado Twister Stats

  • Damage: Around 1,800
  • Cooldown: Around 20 Seconds

This is probably one of the weaker parts of the entire Majestic ability. The damage is acceptable, but the cooldown feels much too high compared to the reward.

The move is still useful during mob fights, but many players expected stronger performance from a mastery skill.

Ghost of Shinobi Awakening

The awakening is easily the strongest part of the entire ability set.

After filling your awakening meter, your character summons a massive meteor attack that deals huge burst damage.

Awakening Stats

  • Damage: Around 14,400
  • Cast Time: About 8 Seconds

The damage output here is extremely strong and can heavily damage bosses or large enemy groups. Even though the attack takes several seconds to land, the payoff is worth it because of the massive burst damage.

For many players, the awakening alone is what makes Ghost of Shinobi feel truly powerful.

Is Ghost of Shinobi Worth Using?

Overall, Ghost of Shinobi is definitely a strong ability, especially because of its awakening skill.

The first and second skills feel smooth thanks to their solid cooldowns and reliable damage. Meanwhile, Astral Slash and Tornado Twister are a little less impressive because their cooldowns feel too long for the amount of damage they provide.

Still, once the awakening becomes available, the ability starts to feel much stronger overall.

If future balance updates improve the weaker cooldowns, Ghost of Shinobi could easily become one of the best abilities in Anime Apocalypse.

New Wave Defense Mode Explained

The update also adds a completely new game mode called Wave Defense.

In this mode, enemies attack from four different directions while players must defend a central base from being destroyed.

Unlike normal combat modes, players need to constantly pay attention to enemy spawn locations and quickly rotate around the map to stop the base from taking damage.

The mode becomes much easier and more fun with multiple players since teammates can cover different sides at once.

For players who enjoy co-op gameplay and survival modes, Wave Defense is one of the better additions added recently.

New Anime Apocalypse Codes

The update also introduces several new redeem codes that players can use for free rewards.

  • Shinobi
  • GhostOfShinobi
  • WaveDefense

Make sure to redeem them quickly before they expire in future updates.

The latest Anime Apocalypse update adds a lot of important content for both casual and endgame players. Ghost of Shinobi introduces the game’s first Majestic rarity ability, bringing powerful attacks and one of the strongest awakening skills seen so far.

Even though some cooldowns could use balancing, the overall ability still performs well, especially during boss fights and large enemy waves. The addition of Wave Defense mode also gives players something new to grind with friends while protecting the base from endless enemy attacks.

If you have enough spins saved, trying to unlock Ghost of Shinobi is definitely worth it, especially since it may become one of the most valuable abilities in the game moving forward.
