Anime Warriors 3 has officially released its first major content update, and it adds a huge amount of new content for players to explore. The update is called Pain to the World, bringing a brand-new map inspired by Naruto along with fresh units, accessories, mounts, weapons, and a new raid-style mode.
The Rain Village update is easily one of the biggest expansions added to the game so far. Players now have access to new bosses, stronger rewards, exclusive currencies, and several powerful items that can help boost progression. Here is everything you need to know about the new Anime Warriors 3 update.
New Rain Village World
The biggest addition in Update 1 is the Rain Village world. This area introduces brand-new enemies, bosses, quests, and rewards heavily inspired by the Naruto franchise.
Players can access the Rain Village directly through the navigation menu. Once unlocked, you can travel there immediately and set your respawn location by speaking to the Lady Toad Sage NPC.
Setting your respawn point here is very useful because you will likely spend a lot of time farming bosses, quests, and raids in this area.
All New Units in the Update
The update adds six new warriors inspired by Naruto characters, along with a secret unit that players can try to discover. Some units also include shiny variants, making them even rarer to obtain.
- Naruto-inspired warrior
- Jeriah-inspired warrior
- Additional Rain Village units
- Secret Unit
The secret character was not fully revealed during the early update showcase, so players are still trying to figure out how to unlock it.
New Accessories
Several accessories were added with the update, and many of them are based on iconic Naruto-themed gear.
New Accessories List
- Rain Headband
- Sage Scroll
- Sage Outfit
- Renegon Headpiece
The Renegon item is currently one of the most wanted accessories because it drops from the secret boss later in the Rain Village area.
New Weapons Added
The update also introduces three brand-new weapons.
Weapon List
- Puppet Blades
- Blade Scythe
- Shark Blade
The Shark Blade is especially popular because players can farm it from one of the Rain Village bosses.
New Mounts
Two mounts were also added in this update.
Mount List
- Giant Crab
- Ink Bird
The Giant Crab is obtained from one of the early Rain Village quests, while the Ink Bird flying mount becomes available after completing later quest objectives.
Rain Village Quest Guide
Once you enter the Rain Village, speak with the Sununado NPC to begin the main questline. The quests are fairly simple for players with high power levels, but newer players may still need stronger units before farming efficiently.
First Quest
The first mission requires players to defeat:
- 10 Spirits
- 5 Instincts
Completing the quest rewards:
- Giant Crab Mount
- Attack Boosts
- Demonic Fragments
- Money
Second Quest
The next mission asks players to defeat:
- 8 Enlightenments
- 5 Demons
Rewards include:
- Luck Boosts
- Demonic Fragments
- Cash
Paper Angel Boss Quest
Another important quest requires defeating the Paper Angel boss three times. This boss can drop several items, including the Shark Blade weapon. Players farming weapons will probably spend a lot of time repeating this fight.
Diva Boss Guide
The final major quest boss is Diva, a boss heavily inspired by Pain from Naruto. Diva has over 2.5 billion HP, but experienced players can defeat him relatively quickly with strong builds. This boss also has improved drop rates for several important items compared to the Paper Angel boss.
Secret Boss Location
Players can also find a hidden secret boss inside the Rain Village. To locate the boss:
- Fly past the Diva boss area
- Enter the hidden alleyway behind the zone
- Continue toward the back section
The secret boss has around 80 billion HP, making it one of the hardest enemies currently in the game. This boss drops the Renegon mythical item, which is one of the best rewards added in the update.
New Infiltrate Raid Mode
The update introduces a new raid-style activity called Infiltrate. While it works similarly to normal raids, this version has players moving through multiple combat areas while defeating enemies to unlock the next section. Eventually, players reach the final boss fight.
How the Raid Works
During the raid:
- Defeat all enemies in an area
- Break through the red barrier
- Move to the next section
- Repeat until reaching the final boss
The final boss of the raid is Nagato.
Just like standard raids, players damage the boss during stun phases until it is finally defeated.
Dawn Coins Currency
While completing the Infiltrate raid, players earn a new currency called Dawn Coins.
These coins can be spent inside Jeriah’s special shop.
Jeriah Shop Rewards
Jeriah’s shop contains several exclusive rewards, including:
Raid Accessories
- Crossed Rain Headband
- Chakra Transmitters
- Reanimation Cloak
Raid Weapons
- Chakra Rod
- Origami Wings
- Path of Pain Style
There is also a special exclusive banner available for 8,000 tokens.
Many of these items require a large amount of farming, so players should expect to repeat raids multiple times.
Gauntlet Changes
The update also improves the Gauntlet system by adding:
- 4 New Cards
- 2 New Relics
- 2 New Items
These additions help give players more build options and progression paths.
The Pain to the World update is a massive step forward for Anime Warriors 3. The Rain Village looks great, the new Naruto-inspired content feels fun to grind, and the new raid mode adds more endgame activities for players who already completed previous worlds.
The update also adds strong weapons, mounts, accessories, and several difficult bosses that will likely keep players busy for quite a while. Between the secret boss, new raid rewards, and rare units, there is plenty of content worth farming in Update 1.
