How to Unlock Yhwach Awakening in Rogue Piece Guide
The latest Rogue Piece update introduced Yhwach as one of the strongest abilities currently available in the game. Many players are already farming it because of its high damage, flashy effects, and powerful combo potential.
However, getting the weapon alone is not enough if you want to use its full power. Players also need to unlock the Yhwach Awakening to gain access to the ultimate F Move skill. The awakening process is much shorter than the original Yhwach questline, but it still requires some grinding. Here is everything you need to know about unlocking Yhwach Awakening in Rogue Piece.
Get the Yhwach Weapon First
Before you can unlock the awakening, you must already own the Yhwach weapon. If you have not obtained it yet, you need to complete the full Yhwach questline at the Forsaken Society island. The main requirements include defeating several bosses such as:
- 50 Aizen Bosses
- 25 Aizen Thousand Year Bosses
- 25 Quincy Bosses
- 5 Yhwach Bosses
After completing those quests, players can purchase the Yhwach weapon and begin working toward the awakening upgrade.
Find the Awakener NPC
Once you already have Yhwach equipped, head back to the Forsaken Society island and search for the Awakener NPC. This NPC is responsible for unlocking the final mastery skill for Yhwach. Unlike the original obtainment process, the awakening quest is much simpler and only has one main objective.
Defeat Yhwach Boss 15 Times
To unlock the Yhwach Awakening, players must defeat the Yhwach Boss a total of 15 times. This is currently the only requirement for unlocking the F Move. The boss can be summoned using the Spawner NPC on the island, but players need the required materials first. Most summon materials are dropped from Quincy Boss enemies found around Forsaken City.
Since Quincy Bosses spawn every two to three minutes, farming the materials can still take some time. It is recommended to farm with friends or a party to speed up the process and make repeated boss fights easier.
What Does Yhwach Awakening Give?
After completing the awakening quest, players unlock the special F Move for Yhwach. This ability adds even more damage and improves the weapon’s overall combo potential. Many players consider the awakening version of Yhwach one of the strongest options for both PvP and PvE because of:
- High burst damage
- Fast combo chains
- Large attack range
- Strong visual effects
- Smooth skill animations
The awakening also makes boss farming much faster thanks to the additional damage output.
Is Yhwach Awakening Worth It?
For most players, the answer is definitely yes. While farming 15 Yhwach Bosses may take some time, the reward is worth the grind if you plan to main the weapon long term. Yhwach already performs well without awakening, but the F Move makes it much stronger in combat. Players who enjoy fast-paced fighting styles and anime-inspired abilities will probably enjoy using awakened Yhwach even more. If you recently unlocked the base weapon, focusing on the awakening should be your next goal before future updates potentially rebalance the ability.
