Wizard Alchemy NPC Location Guide & Best Quests for Progression!
NPCs are one of the most important parts of Wizard Alchemy. They give quests, sell gear, buy your materials, and help you unlock stronger content as you continue exploring the game. Some NPCs are useful for beginners, while others become extremely important later when you start farming materials and rare potion ingredients. If you are confused about where to find certain NPCs or which quests are worth repeating, this guide covers every NPC location in Wizard Alchemy along with what they actually do.
All Departure Isle NPC Locations
Departure Isle is the first area players will explore in Wizard Alchemy. Most beginner quests and important starter NPCs can be found here.
Ms. Lemin Location and Quest
Ms. Lemin can be found near the Departure Isle spawn area. She mainly introduces players to the potion brewing system and helps new players understand the basics of alchemy.
Her quest requires players to brew three potions using the Alchemy Table. This is one of the first quests most players complete and is important for learning how ingredients and brewing work in the game.
Harryint Location and Quests
Harryint is also located near the spawn area in Departure Isle. He gives combat-focused quests that require players to defeat enemies around the island.
His quests include:
- Defeat 10 Pickaxe Dwarfs
- Defeat 10 Knife Goblins
- Defeat 3 Warhammer Dwarfs
- Defeat 3 Archer Goblins
- Defeat the Dwarf King
Harryint is one of the best NPCs for progression because his quests can be repeated multiple times. Players can farm EXP, cash, and materials by continuously completing his missions.
Lombart Location and Purpose
Lombart stays near the Departure Isle spawn. He is mostly used as a merchant NPC.
Players can sell materials and potions to Lombart for extra money. He also gives a simple quest requiring players to collect one Goblin Earring.
This NPC becomes very useful once your inventory starts filling up with monster drops and potion ingredients.
Roger Location and Shop
Roger is another NPC found near the spawn area. He sells gear for your character including:
- Wands
- Robes
- Hats
If you want stronger magic damage or better equipment early in the game, Roger is the NPC you will visit often.
Fugitive Orc Location
The Fugitive Orc can be found near the lake in Departure Isle.
He gives a gathering quest that asks players to collect 10 Blueberries. This quest is simple and useful for early progression since blueberries are easy to find around the map.
Traveller Location
Traveller is located across the bridge near a tent in Departure Isle.
This NPC gives a mushroom collection quest requiring players to gather 10 Mushrooms. Traveller also sells Cauldrons, which are necessary for potion crafting.
If you plan on focusing heavily on alchemy, this NPC becomes extremely important early on.
The Witcher: Rend Blackhand Location
Rend Blackhand can be found near the Dwarf King’s Cave.
He gives a special quest requiring players to collect one Furnace Core. This quest is slightly harder than the earlier beginner quests since players need to fight stronger enemies inside the cave area.
Optimistic Miner Location
The Optimistic Miner is located near the cave covered by Spiky Roots.
This NPC does not provide major quests but gives players useful information about hidden treasure chests scattered around the world. These treasure chests can contain useful rewards and materials.
All Sea of Oblivion NPC Locations

Sea of Oblivion is the second major area in Wizard Alchemy. Enemies here are much stronger, but the rewards are also far better.
Ms. Lemin in Sea of Oblivion
Ms. Lemin appears again near the Sea of Oblivion spawn point. She provides additional tutorial quests to help players adjust to the tougher area.
Harryint Sea of Oblivion Quests
Harryint returns with a new set of combat quests focused on Orc enemies.
These quests include:
- Defeat 10 Sword Orcs
- Defeat 10 Bow Orcs
- Defeat 3 Axe Orcs
- Defeat 3 Orc Priests
- Defeat the Lava Behemoth
These quests are excellent for farming levels and money during mid to late game progression.
Lombart and Roger Locations
Both Lombart and Roger can also be found near the Sea of Oblivion spawn area.
Lombart continues purchasing materials and potions, while Roger sells upgraded equipment for stronger players.
Fugitive Orc Location in Sea of Oblivion
The Fugitive Orc can be found inside the Ashen Ruins area. Currently, this NPC does not provide any major quest.
Rend Blackhand Volcano Quest
Rend Blackhand appears again near the volcano entrance.
This time, he asks players to collect Lava Behemoth Remains. This quest is more difficult because the Lava Behemoth is one of the stronger enemies in the area.
Geographer Hans Location and Quest
Geographer Hans is located outside the Sea of Oblivion spawn area.
He gives one of the most important late-game quests in Wizard Alchemy by asking players to defeat the Mutant Iron Axe Orc.
The Mutant Iron Axe Orc drops valuable materials and rewards, making this one of the best farming targets in the game.
New Apprentice Location
The New Apprentice NPC can be found underneath the waterfall in Sea of Oblivion.
This NPC gives players a gathering quest requiring them to collect 10 Sword Ferns. It is a simple quest but useful for extra rewards and progression.
Best NPC Quests for Fast Progression
Not every quest in Wizard Alchemy is equally useful. Some quests are much better for leveling and farming materials.
Harryint Quests Are the Best for Farming
Harryint’s quests are easily some of the best repeatable quests in the game. Since they can be completed multiple times, players can continuously farm:
- EXP
- Cash
- Monster materials
- Potion ingredients
For beginners, the Departure Isle quests are perfect for leveling up quickly. Later on, the Sea of Oblivion version becomes much better for farming stronger rewards.
Geographer Hans Quest Is Great for Rare Drops
Even though Geographer Hans’ quest itself is not repeatable, players can continue farming the Mutant Iron Axe Orc after completing it. This enemy has some of the best drops currently available in Wizard Alchemy, making it one of the best late-game farming methods for earning money and rare crafting ingredients.
Wizard Alchemy has a surprisingly large number of NPCs, and each one helps players progress in different ways. Some focus on combat quests, while others help with potion brewing, gear upgrades, or gathering materials.
For most players, Harryint will probably become the most important NPC because of the repeatable quests and easy farming rewards. Meanwhile, players reaching late game should focus heavily on Geographer Hans and the Mutant Iron Axe Orc for better materials and stronger potion crafting resources.
As the game continues receiving updates, more NPCs and quests will likely be added, but for now these are the most important characters every player should know in Wizard Alchemy.
