Ore Crafting System Explained

The Forge Galaxite Update Guide: New Caves, Pickaxes, Crafting System, and World Events

One of the most important additions in this update is the Ore Crafter NPC. This new character can be found near the forge area, but only players who have reached World 2 or higher can access him.

The crafting system allows players to combine existing ores and gold to create stronger and rarer materials. Instead of relying completely on mining luck, you can now gather specific resources and turn them into valuable ores through crafting recipes.

Simply interact with the Ore Crafter to view the available recipes. Keep in mind that the NPC only displays ores that belong to your current world. For example, players in World 3 will only see recipes related to World 3 progression. This new feature makes it much easier to work toward high-end ores and gives players more control over their progression.

How to Unlock the Void Cave

The Void Cave is one of the brand-new locations added in the Galaxite update. You can find it by following the glowing purple area on the map.

Inside the cave, players will encounter the Galaxy Guardian NPC. This special NPC is responsible for crafting some of the strongest ores available, including the highly sought-after Galaxite ore.

Before entering the cave, you must complete the Buried Remains Quest from Silas. Silas can be found near the area above Crimson Sakura, close to a shrine in the green zone. His quest requires players to collect three skulls hidden throughout the world.

Some players may encounter a bug that prevents skulls from being collected. If this happens, switching to another server is currently the easiest workaround until the issue is fully resolved.

Spirit Cave Guide

While the Spirit Cave technically existed before this update, it was mostly empty. The Galaxite update transforms it into a fully functional mining area packed with ores, crystals, and enemies.

Players can find valuable resources such as Thunder Core and Spirit Rocks while exploring deeper sections of the cave.

To reach the Spirit Cave, travel to World 4 and descend through the holes in the ground. Continue moving downward through each layer until you arrive at the cave itself.

This area is especially important because it contains materials needed for one of the newest pickaxes in the game.

New Pickaxes Added in the Update

The Galaxite update introduces two powerful mining tools that can significantly improve your efficiency.

Spirit Pickaxe

  • Cost: 5,000,000 Gold
  • Goblin Race Cost: Around 4,400,000 Gold
  • Mining Power: 777
  • Luck Bonus: +85%
  • Location: Spirit Cave Entrance

The Spirit Pickaxe offers a solid upgrade for players progressing through World 4 content and is much easier to obtain than the Yin-Yang Pickaxe.

Yin-Yang Pickaxe

  • Cost: 7,770,000 Gold
  • Goblin Race Cost: Around 6,837,000 Gold
  • Mining Power: 1,100
  • Luck Bonus: +88%
  • Location: Near the Shogun NPC inside Spirit Cave

To purchase this pickaxe, you must first craft a Yin Yang ore.

The crafting recipe requires:

  • 1 Yin Ore
  • 1 Yang Ore
  • 5,000 Gold

Yin Ore can be obtained from Pale Oni enemies with roughly a 1 in 20 drop rate. Yang Ore drops from Spirit Golems with the same chance. Once both ores are collected, use the Ore Crafter to create the required material.

Players using the Goblin race should equip it before making any major purchase, as the race bonus provides a valuable discount.

All World Events and Their Effects

Another major feature introduced in the update is the World Event system. Events activate every hour and rotate randomly. During an active event, players will notice changes throughout the world along with powerful bonuses.

Fortune

  • +1 ore per mining action
  • +100% luck

Ultra Fortune

  • +2 ores per mining action
  • +250% luck

Blood Moon

  • Stronger enemies
  • Improved enemy rewards

Comet Rain

  • Increased rare ore spawn rates
  • Chance to obtain Star Dust

Gold Rush

  • More gold from enemies
  • +30% mining power

Haste

  • +50% movement speed
  • +50% mining speed

Among all these events, Comet Rain is arguably the most important. It allows players to collect Star Dust, a crafting material required for Galaxite ore. Since Galaxite is currently one of the strongest and rarest ores available, taking advantage of this event is highly recommended.

New Mini Map Feature

Players exploring World 4 can now access a new mini map system. Visit the Town Hall and interact with it to open a full map of the region. The map displays important locations, making navigation much easier than before. Some of the landmarks shown include:

  • Shogun’s Island
  • Bamboo Cave
  • Holy Tree
  • Other major World 4 locations

This small quality-of-life improvement helps players find important areas without spending as much time searching.

The Galaxite update adds a huge amount of content to The Forge and gives players several new progression paths to explore. The Ore Crafter introduces a more reliable way to obtain rare materials, while the Void Cave and Spirit Cave provide new challenges and rewards. On top of that, the new world events create fresh opportunities to gather resources and earn bonuses throughout the day.

If you’re looking for a long-term goal after this update, unlocking the Yin-Yang Pickaxe and gathering materials for Galaxite should be at the top of your list. With stronger tools, better crafting options, and exciting new locations, there has never been a better time to jump back into The Forge.
