Quincy Weapons VV Ultimatum Guide – Best Weapons, Progression, and Sanrei Glove Explained
Quincy is one of the three main factions available in VV: Ultimatum, offering a unique playstyle focused on Spirit Weapons, ranged combat, and powerful awakenings. Unlike Soul Reapers and Hollows, Quincy players can choose their starting weapon during character creation, allowing them to shape their build right from the beginning.
However, choosing the right weapon is only part of the journey. Players must also complete Quincy progression, unlock their evolved weapon, obtain the Sanrei Glove, and eventually awaken their Schrift and Letzt Stil. Here’s everything you need to know about Quincy weapons and progression in VV: Ultimatum.

This weapon is ideal for players who prefer keeping enemies at a distance.

It can be devastating in extended fights if you successfully break an opponent’s posture.
How Quincy Progression Works
Quincy progression becomes available after reaching Level 25. Once you hit Level 25, you automatically receive the Soldat Cap and gain access to Quincy progression. The main progression system revolves around your Lieutenant. To speak with your Lieutenant:
- Press L
- Accept missions
- Complete objectives
- Return and report the task
Every mission has a star rating from 1 to 3.
Generally:
- 1-Star Missions = Low Progress
- 2-Star Missions = Moderate Progress
- 3-Star Missions = Highest Progress
For faster progression, prioritize 3-Star missions whenever possible.
How to Get the Sanrei Glove

After completing enough Lieutenant missions, you’ll be asked to obtain the Sanrei Glove. The recipe can be purchased from an NPC inside the Wandenreich for 300 Soul Tokens. Required materials include:
- Broken Quincy Medallion
- Frost Alloy
- 2 Strange Essences
Once crafted, the Sanrei Glove unlocks two important features:
- Meditation (L)
- Letzt Stil activation
Before unlocking Schrift, the glove is required to activate Letzt Stil.
Simply hold your weapon summon key and release it to enter Letzt Stil.
How to Unlock Your Evolved Spirit Weapon
Continue completing Lieutenant missions after obtaining the Sanrei Glove. Eventually, your Lieutenant will reward you with an upgraded version of your Spirit Weapon. Every weapon evolves differently, gaining:
- New visuals
- Improved combat properties
- New critical attacks
- Better overall performance
This upgrade is a major milestone for Quincy players and significantly boosts combat effectiveness.
How to Unlock Schrift
After progressing further through faction missions, your Lieutenant will eventually instruct you to meditate with the Sanrei Glove. Most players will need several meditation sessions while maintaining high Reiatsu. As progression continues, you’ll receive a final mission that sends you to the Arctic Plains. Here, you’ll need to defeat the boss named Securis. Defeating Securis rewards you with:
- Schrift
- Permanent Letzt Stil access
- Removal of Sanrei Glove dependency
After this point, the Sanrei Glove is no longer required to activate your awakening.
What is Letzt Stil?
Letzt Stil serves as the Quincy awakening mode. When activated, players gain stronger combat performance and can fully utilize their Quincy abilities. Although the system is still receiving updates, Letzt Stil currently acts as the primary endgame transformation for Quincy characters. Combined with an evolved Spirit Weapon and Schrift abilities, it represents the final stage of Quincy progression.
Quincy offers one of the most straightforward progression paths in VV: Ultimatum. Players begin with a weapon of their choice, complete missions from their Lieutenant, craft the Sanrei Glove, evolve their Spirit Weapon, and eventually unlock Schrift and Letzt Stil.
For beginners, the Sword remains the safest and most balanced weapon choice. However, every Spirit Weapon has its own strengths, allowing players to build around range, speed, posture damage, or raw power. As long as you consistently complete Lieutenant missions and gather the materials needed for the Sanrei Glove, reaching Quincy endgame progression is much easier than many players expect.
