VV: Ultimatum has quickly become one of the most popular Bleach-inspired Roblox games thanks to its deep progression system, multiple factions, and unique character builds. New players often find themselves confused about what race to choose and how to unlock their faction’s strongest abilities.
Each faction follows a different path, but they all share the same leveling foundation. Whether you decide to become a Soul Reaper, Hollow, or Quincy, understanding the progression system will save you a lot of time and help you reach endgame content much faster. In this guide, we’ll explain how leveling works and how to fully progress every faction currently available in VV: Ultimatum.
How Leveling Works in VV: Ultimatum
After creating your character and finishing the tutorial, you’ll gain access to the game’s progression system.
Every level grants three important resources:
- Build Points
- Attribute Points
- Skill Points
Build Points improve passive character stats such as mobility, stamina, and resource management. For example, increasing Shunpo improves dodge recovery and gives you additional movement options during combat.
Attribute Points are used to strengthen specific combat styles and unlock skill tree requirements. If you invest points into Hakuda, you’ll unlock stronger Hakuda skills and increase their effectiveness.
Skill Points are spent directly on unlocking and upgrading abilities within your skill tree. Most players should focus on unlocking important abilities before investing heavily into upgrades.
Best Way to Level Up Fast
The game rewards several activities:
- Quests
- PvE missions
- Boss fights
- Player battles
- Soul Ticket missions
Your experience bar is divided into multiple categories. This means you cannot rely on a single activity forever. Eventually, one section of the EXP bar will become full, forcing you to participate in different content.
The fastest progression method is:
- Complete daily and regular quests.
- Collect Soul Tickets.
- Use Soul Tickets to run missions.
- Fight bosses whenever possible.
- Participate in PvP occasionally.
By mixing activities together, you’ll fill every section of the EXP bar efficiently.
Soul Reaper Progression Guide
Soul Reapers start as Trainees and must unlock their Zanpakuto and Shikai through progression. One unique advantage Soul Reapers have is the ability to turn in wandering souls for bonus experience. These souls provide useful EXP regardless of your current progression stage. As you level up, you’ll begin receiving messages from your Zanpakuto spirit. Once these messages appear, press the meditation key to start interacting with your inner world. The Shikai progression consists of several stages:
- Receive spirit whispers
- Meditate regularly
- Explore the inner world
- Follow shrine objectives
- Meet your Zanpakuto spirit
- Complete dialogue events
- Defeat your inner spirit
The final challenge involves fighting a boss version of yourself. The spirit uses abilities similar to your own build, making it one of the more difficult progression fights in the game.
After winning, you’ll unlock your Shikai weapon form. However, the journey doesn’t end there. You must continue leveling and gathering additional spirit messages to unlock your Shikai abilities.
Using your Shikai in combat grants ability progression, allowing you to unlock new moves and improve existing ones. Currently, a fully upgraded Shikai is the highest Soul Reaper progression available since Bankai has not been added yet.
Hollow Progression Guide
Hollow progression is very different compared to other factions. Players begin as a basic Fishbone Hollow and evolve through several forms:
- Fishbone
- Menos
- Adjuchas
- Vasto Lorde or Vastocar
Throughout your journey, you’ll gain Hollow Traits by consuming other Hollows. These traits provide special bonuses and visual changes such as wings, spikes, and other mutations.
Fishbone Stage
The first stage is simple. Defeat enemies and complete quests to gain experience until evolution becomes available.
Menos Stage
Once you become a Menos, you’ll need to complete specific objectives before advancing. Most players simply need to destroy environmental objects and continue defeating enemies to finish this stage.
Adjuchas Stage
At this point, kills become more important than regular EXP. Defeating NPCs, bosses, and players grants evolution points required for your next transformation. Unlike some other Bleach games, death does not heavily punish your progress here, making the grind much more forgiving.
Choosing Between Vasto Lorde and Vastocar
After completing Hollow evolution, you’ll be given two options.
Vasto Lorde
- Keeps permanent trait bonuses active
- Higher overall stat consistency
- No sword
- No Resurrection form
Vastocar
- Gains a sword
- Unlocks Resurrection
- More build flexibility
- Trait buffs become tied to Resurrection
Most players choose Vastocar because of the additional abilities and customization options available.
How to Unlock Resurrection
Once you become a Vastocar, you’ll begin receiving whispers similar to Soul Reaper progression. Meditate whenever new messages appear. Eventually you’ll enter your inner world and encounter your original Hollow form. During the progression battle, your enemy evolves through multiple Hollow stages while fighting you. Defeat the boss and you’ll unlock:
- Resurrection
- Base Resurrection abilities
- Ability progression system
Using Resurrection abilities in combat increases their mastery, allowing you to unlock additional skills and maximize your form.
Quincy Progression Guide
Quincy progression is generally considered the easiest system to understand. Unlike Soul Reapers and Hollows, Quincies immediately choose a weapon during character creation. Available weapons evolve later, so your choice has a long-term impact on your build. As a Quincy, leveling is mostly focused on:
- Completing quests
- Running missions
- Following lieutenant assignments
- Farming bosses
Quincies can also eliminate lost souls for extra experience, which serves as the opposite role of Soul Reaper soul purification.
How to Unlock Schrift and Letzt Stil
Press the meditation key to communicate with your lieutenant. Instead of whispers, Quincy progression relies on completing faction jobs. Your lieutenant will assign tasks such as:
- Boss hunts
- PvE objectives
- PvP invasions
- Special missions
Three-star jobs provide the fastest progression and should always be prioritized. Eventually you’ll be asked to craft a special Quincy Glove.
This requires several materials, including:
- Soul Essences
- Strange Essences
- Frost Shards
- Broken Medallion
The Broken Medallion is usually the hardest item to obtain because it drops from a rare boss encounter. After crafting the glove, your weapon evolves into an upgraded version with improved attacks and unique critical moves.
Continue completing missions and eventually you’ll unlock:
- Schrift
- Letzt Stil
- Additional faction abilities
Unlike Soul Reaper or Hollow progression, there is currently no major boss battle required for the final unlock.
What to Do After Reaching Max Progression
Even after fully completing your faction, there’s still plenty of content available. Players can continue farming:
- Rare equipment
- Boss drops
- Cosmetic rewards
- Titles
- PvP rewards
- Endgame loot
Each faction also supports multiple build paths, allowing players to experiment with different weapons, skills, and stat investments.
VV: Ultimatum offers one of the deepest progression systems among Bleach-inspired Roblox games. While Soul Reapers focus on mastering their Shikai, Hollows evolve through multiple forms before unlocking Resurrection, and Quincies complete faction assignments to gain Schrift and Letzt Stil. For most players, the fastest route to endgame is completing quests regularly, using Soul Tickets efficiently, and following faction-specific objectives whenever they become available. With enough progression, you’ll eventually unlock every major ability your race has to offer and be ready for the game’s toughest bosses and PvP battles.
