The latest Lineage Piece update has introduced two powerful additions for players to grind: Miyabi Hoshimi and Sung Jinwoo V2. Alongside these new units, the update also added a Playtime Rewards system, new dungeon content, a banner system, and several new progression quests. If you’re wondering how to unlock these characters and whether they’re worth the effort, this guide covers everything you need to know.
Before jumping into the new characters, it’s worth checking out the new Playtime Rewards feature. Players can claim rewards simply by staying in-game. These rewards reset daily, making them a reliable source of useful materials and resources. Some of the rewards can help with obtaining banner tickets and progressing through the new content. Make sure to collect them every day to maximize your rewards.
How to Get Miyabi Hoshimi
Miyabi Hoshimi can be obtained through the newly added Banner System. To access the banner, head to the Banner NPC located in Lineage Town. You’ll need Banner Tickets to perform summons. There are several ways to get tickets:
- Complete Tower Mode
- Collect Playtime Rewards
- Purchase them from the Merchant Tower Shop
- Buy them with Robux
Once you obtain enough tickets, start rolling until you get Miyabi.
Miyabi Questline Guide
After unlocking Miyabi, you’ll need to complete her questline. The quest NPC can be found on Monument Island. The questline contains several objectives, but most of them are fairly straightforward. Some of the requirements include:
- Deal 2 Billion Damage using Miyabi
- Defeat the Miyabi Boss 10 times
- Complete objectives inside the new dungeon
To enter the dungeon, you’ll need a special key. Fortunately, the key can also be obtained through the banner system. Another important requirement is unlocking the Kitsune Race. To get the Kitsune Race, you’ll need to use the Ice Sakura item. This item is another reward available from the banner, making summons an important part of Miyabi’s progression path.
Is Miyabi Worth Getting?
Miyabi features some of the most visually impressive animations currently available in Lineage Piece. Her attacks include stylish effects and cutscenes that make combat feel much more exciting. In terms of damage, she performs extremely well and can easily handle most content in the game.
While some players may rank her slightly below top-tier options like Gojo V2 or Sukuna V2, she still delivers excellent damage and remains a strong choice for both farming and combat. If you’re a fan of flashy abilities and powerful weapons, Miyabi is definitely worth obtaining.
How to Get Sung Jinwoo V2
Unlocking Sung Jinwoo V2 takes more effort than Miyabi, but the rewards are substantial. Start by traveling to Scorched Ruins Island and locating the Sung Jinwoo NPC. Before you can interact with him, you’ll need to obtain Worthiness. To get Worthiness:
- Defeat the regular Sung Jinwoo Boss
- Each kill has a 10% chance of granting Worthiness
Once you receive the requirement, return to the NPC to begin the Sung Jinwoo V2 questline.
Sung Jinwoo V2 Questline Requirements
The Sung Jinwoo V2 questline is significantly longer than Miyabi’s, but there is no mastery grind afterward.
Some of the objectives include:
Early Quests
- Defeat Sung Jinwoo Boss 15 times
- Clear 50 Waves in Tower Mode
- Complete the new Jinwoo Raid on Hard or Extreme difficulty 15 times
Raid Keys can be obtained through Tower Mode, making that mode especially important for progression.
Additional Quests
Later objectives include:
- Deal 2 Billion Damage using Player Daggers
- Defeat the Jinwoo Dungeon Boss multiple times
- Clear Sovereign Trials on Extreme difficulty
- Clear Abyss Trials on Extreme difficulty
- Finish off dungeon bosses using Player Daggers
Although the list may seem intimidating, most objectives can be completed naturally while farming other materials.
Once every quest is completed, you’ll unlock the new Sung Jinwoo V2 Daggers along with their full mastery.
Is Sung Jinwoo V2 Worth It?
Absolutely.
Sung Jinwoo V2 offers excellent animations, powerful skills, and impressive damage output. The weapon feels extremely strong in combat and performs well against both bosses and large groups of enemies.
The questline requires a significant amount of grinding, but the reward is one of the strongest additions from the update.
Players willing to invest the time will likely find the effort worthwhile. The latest Lineage Piece update adds plenty of content for players to explore. Miyabi Hoshimi offers an easier progression path through the new banner system, while Sung Jinwoo V2 provides a longer but highly rewarding grind for dedicated players.
Whether you’re farming tickets, clearing Tower Mode, or completing difficult raids, both characters are strong additions to any account. If you have the time to grind, unlocking both is currently one of the best goals to work toward in the newest update.
