Blox Monsters Update 0.6.7 Guide, Mega Evolutions, Bamboo Temple Island, New Boss, Codes & More!
Blox Monsters has received one of its biggest updates so far with the release of Update 0.6.7. This update introduces a brand-new island, a redesigned central hub, Mega Evolutions, a new boss encounter, additional quests, and several quality-of-life improvements. Whether you’re returning to the game or actively grinding for new monsters, there’s plenty of content to explore. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest update.
New Blox Monsters Codes
Before jumping into the new content, make sure to redeem the latest codes for free rewards. Current working codes include:
- NEWTRAIT
- NEWMUTATION
- BONEVOYAGE
- MEGA
You can enter these codes through the code redemption section found at the bottom of the in-game shop menu.
New Central Hub Area
One of the first changes players will notice is the addition of a brand-new hub island. This location now serves as the main center for many important game systems. Instead of traveling between multiple areas, players can access most major features from one place. Inside the hub, you’ll find several useful buildings:
- Shop Building
- Mutation Building
- Trait Building
- Skill Reroll Area
- Item Shop
- Limited Shop
- Hatch Building
- Rift Spire
The new hub helps streamline progression and makes it much easier to access important features without constantly teleporting around the map. Perhaps the most interesting part of the hub is the Hatch Building, which introduces another incubator and hints at future content through several incubators marked as “Coming Soon.”
Bamboo Temple Island Arrives
The biggest addition in Update 0.6.7 is Bamboo Temple, a completely new island filled with unique monsters, quests, and exploration opportunities. Players can access Bamboo Temple through a portal located in Astral Grove after meeting the necessary requirements. The island is much larger than many expected and contains several new creatures to discover and capture.
New Quest NPC
Upon arriving at Bamboo Temple, you’ll meet an NPC named Amy. She offers one of the island’s first quests, which requires players to defeat 50 Ember Cub monsters. Completing quests is a great way to earn rewards while exploring the new area, so it’s worth keeping an eye on future quest additions.
All New Monsters in Bamboo Temple
Several new monsters have been added to the game with this update.
Silva Loom
Silva Loom is one of the first monsters players will encounter on Bamboo Temple.
Type:
- Fighting
- Psychic
This monster offers a unique elemental combination that may become useful in future team compositions.
Volt Kit
Volt Kit is another new creature found on the island.
Type:
- Lightning
Its pure Lightning typing makes it a straightforward offensive option for players looking to strengthen their elemental coverage.
Kung Fu Weasel
One of the more memorable additions is Kung Fu Weasel.
Type:
- Fighting
Despite its humorous name, it can be a valuable addition for players building Fighting-type teams.
Ember Cub
Ember Cub plays an important role in Amy’s questline.
Type:
- Fighting
- Fire
Players will need to defeat multiple Ember Cubs while progressing through Bamboo Temple quests.
Bambit
Bambit is the hidden monster introduced in this update and has quickly become a fan favorite.
Type:
- Fighting
- Grass
The panda-inspired design makes it one of the most sought-after creatures on the island.
Verdant Stag Boss Guide
A brand-new boss called Verdant Stag has also been added. Players can find this powerful boss in Astral Grove before entering Bamboo Temple. Verdant Stag comes with approximately 400,000 HP, making it one of the toughest encounters currently available in the game.
Defeating the boss rewards players with a special egg that can be incubated to obtain a pet version of Verdant Stag. Because of its high health pool, bringing a strong and well-trained team is highly recommended.
Mega Evolutions Explained
The headline feature of Update 0.6.7 is the arrival of Mega Evolutions. Currently, two monsters can access this new evolution stage.
Flora Hair → Clover Mist
Flora Hair can now evolve into Clover Mist through a fourth evolution stage. Required materials:
- 1 Purple Crystal
- 2 Ferns
These materials can be obtained through dispatch missions in Misty Forest. Since dispatches take around 8 hours to complete, players should start farming these resources as early as possible.
Snow Loom → Snow Luna
Snow Loom has also received a Mega Evolution. Required materials:
- 1 Purple Crystal
- 2 Ice Crystals
These items can be earned through dispatch missions on Iceberg Island. Like the Misty Forest dispatches, these missions also require several hours to complete, so planning ahead is important.
New Achievements
The update introduces additional achievements for players to complete. While some are tied to exploration and progression, others encourage players to interact with the new systems introduced in Bamboo Temple and Mega Evolutions. Completing achievements can provide extra goals while working toward stronger teams.
Type Chart Added to the Index
One of the most useful quality-of-life improvements is the new Type Chart feature. Players can now open the Index and view elemental strengths and weaknesses directly inside the game. This makes team building much easier, especially for newer players who are still learning how different elements interact during battles. Instead of searching online for type matchups, everything can now be checked instantly in-game.
Update 0.6.7 is easily one of the largest updates Blox Monsters has received so far. The addition of Bamboo Temple, Mega Evolutions, Verdant Stag, new monsters, extra quests, and the improved hub area adds a significant amount of fresh content for players to enjoy.
If you’re planning to make the most of this update, start by redeeming the new codes, challenging Verdant Stag, exploring Bamboo Temple, and farming the materials needed for Mega Evolutions. With more incubators already teased in the hub area, it also looks like even bigger updates may be coming in the future.
