Tier 2 Puffbelly Explained

After evolving Blowfin into Puffbelly, the Tatari gains a healing ability that targets nearby allies.

The counterattack ability remains available at Tier 2, allowing Puffbelly to deal AoE damage whenever it takes damage from close-range enemies.

At Tier 3, the Tatari gains several additional effects:

• Continues counterattacking with AoE damage
• Cooks to recover its own HP
• Throws sushi to two allies
• Provides healing through sushi

This transformation turns Chefugu into more than just a tank. It becomes a hybrid support unit capable of helping nearby teammates survive while also increasing their damage output.

The healing range remains relatively limited, however. Allies still need to stay within a reasonable distance to benefit from its support abilities.

Chefugu Skills and Abilities

Chefugu gains several powerful skills that improve its usefulness in both PvE and Horde Invasion content.

Ramen Stand

This skill gives attacks a chance to launch extra ramen projectiles that heal nearby allies. It provides a steady source of support during long battles.

Yakitori Grill

At higher skill levels, Chefugu periodically restores HP while launching grilled skewers that deal small AoE damage.

A unique feature of this skill is that taking damage reduces the cooldown of the skewers, allowing the tank to activate its effects more often while under pressure.

Warship Attack

The final skill summons a warship that damages enemies along its path. After reaching its destination, the ship explodes, dealing area damage and applying Burn.

Enemies at the center of the explosion also receive additional damage and a Stun effect, making it one of the strongest abilities in Chefugu’s kit.

One reason many players are excited about Blowfin is its role within Fire-based teams.

Before this update, Fire teams had very limited tank options. The addition of Blowfin gives Fire compositions another frontline choice capable of protecting allies while contributing support effects.

The future Tier 4 evolution, Pyromaki, will also gain a Fire Aura that boosts the attack power of allies. Fire units receive the full benefit, while non-Fire allies receive a reduced version of the effect.
