Namek Island NPC Locations
The new update adds several NPCs around Namek Island. Each one plays a role in obtaining the new items and abilities.
Bulma NPC
Bulma sells the Dragon Radar, which helps players locate Dragon Balls that randomly spawn across islands.
Vegeta NPC
Vegeta provides Scouter V1 and Scouter V2. These accessories allow players to view power levels while also granting a damage boost. The Scouter is equipped through Observation Haki.
Krillin NPC
Krillin is responsible for selling Goku and unlocking the Ultimate Mode later on.
Frieza Boss
Frieza spawns on Namek Island based on server time. Defeating him rewards various materials required for several features introduced in the update.
How to Get Dragon Radar
Before unlocking most of the new content, you’ll need a Dragon Radar from Bulma. The Dragon Radar allows players to detect Dragon Balls that appear randomly across the world. Multiple Dragon Ball sets are required if you want to unlock everything available in the Saiyan update.
How to Get Saiyan Race
Obtaining Goku requires the Saiyan race first. Shenron events have a high chance to appear every 10 minutes. When Shenron appears:
- Find the Dragon Balls.
- Interact with Shenron.
- Choose the race reward.
The Saiyan race has a 25% chance of being granted, so multiple attempts may be necessary.
How to Unlock Goku
Once you obtain the Saiyan race, head over to the quest NPC known as Acquaintance and begin the questline. After completing the required missions, you can purchase Goku from Krillin. Goku comes with a complete base moveset and can be upgraded further through mastery quests.
How to Get Goku Mastery F Move
To unlock Goku’s ultimate move, speak with the Goku Mastery NPC. After accepting his quests, you’ll need to clear the Namek Dungeon and defeat Full Power Frieza. Completing these objectives rewards the F Move. This ability requires a full Fury Bar to activate. Fortunately, Goku’s Z and C skills help fill the Fury meter quickly.
How to Get Super Saiyan God
One of the coolest secrets in the update is Super Saiyan God. Unlocking it requires six players:
- Five players must use Goku.
- All five activate their F Move and transform into Super Saiyan.
- The sixth player then activates their own transformation.
If done correctly, the sixth player receives Super Saiyan God.
The transformation permanently replaces the normal F Move with the Super Saiyan God version, making it one of the rarest upgrades in the game.
Scouter Guide
Scouters are optional but useful accessories. Their benefits include:
- Increased damage.
- Viewing player power levels.
- Integration with Observation Haki.
Although not mandatory, Scouters are a nice addition for players wanting extra power and Dragon Ball-themed immersion.
Is Goku Worth It?
Goku is easily one of the best-designed fighting styles introduced to Rogue Piece. Its moves are flashy, the Fury mechanic is easy to build, and the secret Super Saiyan God transformation gives players another goal to chase.
