Evomon Best Starter and Recommended Monsters Guide

Starting your journey in Evomon can be confusing because there are plenty of monsters to catch and several areas with different elemental types. Choosing the right starter and building a balanced team early can make progression much easier. If you’re wondering which monster to pick and which creatures are worth investing in, this guide covers some of the best options for beginners and mid-game players.

Best Starter in Evomon

When starting the game, players can choose between three monsters:

  • Bubble (Water)
  • Blaze Pup (Fire)
  • Leaf Bun (Grass)

Among the three, Bubble is currently one of the strongest choices for beginners. The first area, Verdant Valley, contains many Rock-type enemies and bosses. Since Water attacks are strong against Rock types, Bubble can clear the early stages quickly and level up faster.

Bubble also remains useful later in the game. Lava Crack contains Fire monsters, making Water types even more valuable. The current World Boss is also Fire-type, giving Bubble another advantage. Blaze Pup and Leaf Bun are still viable choices, but they may have a slightly slower start compared to Bubble.

Bubble Evolution Line

Bubble is a reliable Water-type throughout the early and mid-game. Thanks to its elemental advantage against several important enemies, it is one of the safest monsters to build around.

Players who choose Bubble can comfortably progress through Verdant Valley, Petal Pond, and Lava Crack without needing many adjustments to their team.

Sparkit and Emfox

One of the best Fire monsters to obtain early is Sparkit. After evolving, it becomes Emfox, a powerful Fire-type attacker.

Emfox shines when entering Amber Acres, which contains many Grass monsters. Having a strong Fire monster at this stage makes farming and boss fights much easier.

Because of its usefulness, Sparkit is one of the most recommended monsters for every player.

Astronite

Astronite is another powerful monster worth getting. Players can obtain Astronite Eggs through the Battle Pass. Even free players can earn the egg rewards without purchasing the Premium Pass.

Astronite offers excellent stats and can fit into many team compositions, making it a solid long-term investment.

Build a Balanced Team

Instead of filling your team with only one element, try to cover multiple types. A balanced lineup helps you deal with different islands and bosses.

A good team setup can include:

  • Bubble or its evolution line for Water coverage.
  • Emfox for Fire damage.
  • A Grass-type such as Leaf Bun or Leaf Rogue.
  • A Fighting or Ground-type monster.
  • A flexible slot for rare or special monsters like Astronite.

This setup allows you to adapt to most enemies and avoid being countered by a single element.

Prioritize High-Rank Monsters

Monsters with higher ranks receive larger stat bonuses.

  • A Rank: Smaller bonuses.
  • S Rank: Better overall stats.
  • SSS Rank: Highest stat growth.

SSS monsters are ideal for long-term investments. Even if a monster is common, getting an SSS version can make it stronger than lower-rank rare monsters.

Bubble is currently one of the best starters in Evomon because it provides a smooth early-game experience and performs well against several important bosses. Pairing it with Sparkit and eventually evolving it into Emfox gives players strong elemental coverage for later areas.

As you continue exploring, focus on collecting high-rank monsters, balancing your team, and investing resources into monsters that can remain useful in the late game. Building the right team early will make raids, towers, and future content much easier to tackle.
