Catch a Monster Update 0.36 Guide: Inferno Dungeon, Crystal Wing Evolution, Soccer Event, and New Codes!

Catch a Monster has received another major update, bringing new content for players to grind. Update 0.36 introduces the new Inferno dungeon difficulty, a special soccer event, fresh monsters, and several quality-of-life improvements that make progression easier. If you’re wondering what was added and what you should focus on first, here’s everything you need to know.

New Codes in Update 0.36

Several codes were added alongside this update. Make sure to redeem them before they expire:

  • CrySting
  • Ungolem
  • AAEggFix

These codes provide free rewards that can help you progress faster, so it is worth claiming them as soon as possible.

Inferno Difficulty and Rune Golem

The biggest addition in this update is the new Inferno dungeon difficulty. Players who are strong enough to clear this challenging mode can obtain the newly added monster called Rune Golem.

Rune Golem features a unique design and is one of the more interesting monsters introduced recently. Since it is tied to the highest dungeon difficulty, players should prepare strong teams before attempting Inferno runs.

Cobalt Wing Gets a Secret Evolution

Cobalt Wing finally received an evolution in Update 0.36. Players can evolve it into Crystal Wing, a secret form with a little over a 21% success chance.

To unlock Crystal Wing, you need:

  • 12 Scythes obtained from defeating Scare Reaper.
  • 30 Refined Ice Gems.

Because the success rate isn’t guaranteed, players may need several attempts before obtaining the new evolution.

Soccer Event Explained

A brand-new soccer event inspired by the World Cup is now live. Players can collect two event currencies:

Soccer Balls

You earn Soccer Balls by:

  • Defeating monsters.
  • Clearing rifts.
  • Completing dungeons.

These Soccer Balls can be thrown at friends in the lobby. As friends send Soccer Balls back, you accumulate points and unlock rewards. For example, reaching 3,000 points grants a Mythical Chest.

Victory Cups

Victory Cups come from completing event tasks. The missions are fairly simple and only require a handful of completions each week.

Additional rewards include:

  • Arcane Spark Stones after completing three tasks.
  • Small Starfall Vials after reaching ten completed tasks.

Victory Cups can also be spent inside the Event Shop for various items. Players who want faster progress can purchase additional Victory Cups with Robux.

New Achievements Added

Update 0.36 also introduces several achievements, including:

  • New Specter Shallows achievements.
  • Pet Collection quests.
  • A level 95 pet achievement.
  • Defeating the new dungeon boss.

These additions provide extra goals and rewards for players who enjoy completing everything the game offers.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Besides new content, Update 0.36 includes several useful changes:

  • Increased daily Forge Coin purchase limits.
  • Lower fusion requirements for certain monster ranks.
  • Reduced evolution pity requirements.
  • Various smaller improvements throughout the game.

These changes make upgrading monsters less expensive and reduce the overall grind.

Update 0.36 adds plenty of reasons to jump back into Catch a Monster. The new Inferno difficulty gives endgame players another challenge, Crystal Wing provides a powerful new evolution, and the soccer event offers extra rewards through simple weekly tasks. Combined with several quality-of-life improvements and free codes, this update makes progression smoother while adding plenty of new content to explore.
