Prospecting Summer Event Update Guide – New Area, Trinkets, Equipment, and Rewards

The Summer Event has arrived in Prospecting, bringing a brand-new island, fresh equipment, an entirely new trinket system, and plenty of rewards to collect. This seasonal update will last for three weeks, and part two is already planned for next week. Whether you’re a veteran player or just getting started, there’s something worthwhile for everyone in this event.

Summer Event Part 1 Overview

This update introduces several major additions to the game. Players can access a new summer area and participate in special activities to earn rewards. Alongside the event, the developers have also added:

• Two new equipment blueprints.
• Two new event activities.
• A brand-new trinket system.
• One new trinket item.
• The Global Objective Bonfire event.

Part two of the Summer Event is scheduled to release next week, which means even more content is on the way.

Global Bonfire Event Buff

One of the first things players will notice is the active bonfire event. When the bonfire is lit, everyone receives the Knight of the Bonfire effect.

This bonus grants:

• 2x Luck.
• Increased Hot Flame modifier chance.

The buff makes farming much more rewarding, especially if you’re trying to collect event materials and modified ores.

How to Reach Seashell Beach

The new event area is called Seashell Beach. To travel there, head to the Ferryman located near Fortune River. Once you arrive, you’ll discover vendors, the bonfire area, and several ways to spend your newly earned Sand Dollars. Sand Dollars serve as the event currency and are used to purchase various rewards.

New Equipment Blueprints

Two new equipment blueprints are available from the event vendor:

Wave Rider Blueprint

This is one of the new equipment pieces introduced during the Summer Event. You’ll need Sand Dollars to unlock it.

Shell Necklace Blueprint

Another new item added with the update. Like the Wave Rider Blueprint, it requires Sand Dollars and can be purchased from the event shop.

Both items are exclusive to the event, making them valuable pickups while the event is active.

Event Shop Rewards

A second vendor offers several useful items that normally require Robux or are difficult to obtain.

Available rewards include:

• Meteor Fragments.
• Void Shards.
• Infernal Idols.
• Solar Magnifiers.
• Friendship Totems.

The inclusion of Meteor Fragments and Void Shards is especially valuable since they are usually premium items.

Summer Collection System

Players can submit Summer, Tidal, and Heart Flame ores to the Summer Collection for rewards. Higher-quality items provide better rewards and increase your collection quality percentage.

After the delivery timer finishes, players can receive:

• Luminous Totems.
• Solar Magnifiers.
• Rain Stones.
• Luck Totems.
• Strength Totems.
• Walk Devices.

Heart Flame ores provide the highest quality gains, followed by Tidal and Summer modifiers.

Farming Tips for the Event

If your setup isn’t strong enough for exotic farming, don’t worry. The event is friendly for all players.

Good farming options include:

• Summer Legendaries.
• Tidal Legendaries.
• Heart Flame Legendaries.
• Dinosaur Skulls from Inferno Heart.

Dinosaur Skulls are among the easiest exotics to farm, making them a great source of event progress.

New Exotic Item

The update also adds a new exotic item called the Forgotten Totem. This rare item can be found while farming at Seashell Beach and serves as one of the event’s most exciting rewards.

Alongside it, a new legendary item has also been introduced to the area’s loot pool.

Trinkets System Explained

One of the biggest additions in this update is the new Trinket System.

Trinkets can now be attached to pans and provide passive effects. At launch, one new trinket has been added:

Beach Umbrella

The Beach Umbrella is the first trinket available in Prospecting. It can be purchased with Sand Dollars and provides passive bonuses when equipped.

Since this is the beginning of the trinket system, more trinkets are likely to be added in future updates.

What to Prioritize During the Event

If you’re farming Sand Dollars, the best purchases currently are:

1. Beach Umbrella Trinket.
2. Shell Necklace Blueprint.
3. Wave Rider Blueprint.
4. Premium materials from the second vendor.

Since this is only part one of the Summer Event, it may be wise to save some Sand Dollars for future content. Part two could introduce additional equipment, pans, shovels, or even more trinkets.
