Many strange creatures roam the halls of Animal Hospital, and each one can become a serious problem if left alone. Some enemies only drain your Sanity, while others can injure patients, steal your supplies, or even cause instant emergencies. Learning how every enemy behaves is one of the most important parts of surviving longer shifts. Here’s a complete guide to every Enemy in Animal Hospital and how to deal with them.

All Enemies in Animal Hospital

Enemy Threat Level Main Effect
Bed Monster Medium Grabs players and patients, drains Sanity
Stalker Low Causes Sanity damage when viewed
Mass of Eyes Medium Drains Sanity when looked at
Hiders High Chase players and steal items
Skin Walker High Attacks players and patients
Head Banger Medium Damages Sanity and cracks windows
Tendril Critical Can kill patients if untreated
Camera Figure Medium Causes heavy Sanity damage through jumpscares

Bed Monster

Bed Monster is one of the enemies you’ll encounter most often. It hides beneath patient beds and reveals itself with a red warning zone. Walking into that area causes the creature to grab you, dealing 10 Sanity damage immediately and another 5 Sanity every two seconds afterward.

It can also grab patients, triggering emergencies that interrupt your work. Thankfully, the solution is simple. Holding Maple Syrup and approaching the red area will force the monster to retreat. Since this enemy appears frequently, carrying extra Maple Syrup is highly recommended.

Stalker

The Stalker resembles a tall black rabbit with an unsettling smile. It tends to hide around corners and hallways, waiting for players to accidentally stare at it.

Looking directly at the Stalker deals 10 Sanity damage. The best strategy is simply to avoid making eye contact. Try keeping your camera low when turning corners, and don’t spend too much time looking around if you suspect one is nearby.

Mass of Eyes

Mass of Eyes is one of the more dangerous Sanity-draining enemies. It appears on ceilings, usually inside patient rooms or near the CCTV area. Looking upward while it is active causes constant Sanity damage every half second.

You’ll know it’s nearby when the background music stops and the message “Don’t Look Up” appears on the screen. Following that warning is usually enough to survive. Eye Drops can help calm the creature, although some Sanity loss is almost unavoidable.

Hiders

Hiders are shadowy creatures that blend into the environment. They often appear in groups and can be difficult to spot unless you’re paying attention. Approaching them directly causes them to chase you. If they catch you, they’ll inflict 10 Sanity damage and steal items from your inventory. Running away in the opposite direction usually causes them to disappear after several seconds. You can also stop them with:

  • Taser
  • Fire Extinguisher
  • Bed Monster traps

Skin Walker

Skin Walkers disguise themselves as regular patients, making them one of the trickiest enemies in Animal Hospital. Once they reveal themselves, they attack both players and patients, dealing continuous damage with their bites. If a Skin Walker is attacking a patient, move behind it and use a Taser. If it grabs you, repeatedly pressing the E key will allow you to escape before taking too much damage.

Head Banger

Head Banger appears as a patient with hollow eyes repeatedly smashing their head against the second check-in window. Ignoring this enemy can damage the window and prevent you from closing the shutters. Trying to interact without preparation causes 20 Sanity damage. The safest way to stop it is by giving it Coffee. This immediately calms the enemy and prevents further damage to the reception area.

Tendril

Tendril is one of the most dangerous enemies in the game. When it appears, purple tentacles emerge in Room 8 and a 45-second timer begins. Unlike other enemies, Tendril cannot be stunned or attacked. Your only option is to perform surgery on the affected patient before time runs out. Failing to do so will result in the patient’s death, making Tendril a critical emergency that should always be prioritized.

Camera Figure

Camera Figure only appears through broken CCTV feeds. At first, it seems harmless, but watching the screen for too long triggers a terrifying jumpscare. Being jumpscared causes 20 Sanity damage, making it one of the strongest Sanity attacks in the game. As soon as you notice the black figure with glowing red eyes, exit the camera feed immediately.

Best Items to Carry Against Enemies

Having the right items can make dealing with enemies much easier. Here are some of the most useful tools to keep in your inventory:

  • Maple Syrup Bed Monster
  • Eye Drops Mass of Eyes
  • Coffee Head Banger
  • Taser Hiders and Skin Walker
  • Fire Extinguisher Hiders

Enemies in Animal Hospital are more than simple obstacles. Some only affect your Sanity, while others can directly threaten your patients and even ruin your shift. Learning how each creature behaves and carrying the right supplies will make surviving much easier.

Among all enemies, Tendril is arguably the most dangerous because it can kill patients if ignored, while Bed Monster remains the most common threat you’ll encounter during everyday shifts. Keeping Maple Syrup, Coffee, Eye Drops, and a Taser nearby will help you handle almost any situation the hospital throws at you.
