Anime Warriors 3 Alien Invasion Update Guide – New Mode, Summer Stars, Universe Dominator, and More

Anime Warriors 3 has released Update 3, bringing a brand-new game mode called Alien Invasion along with new units, currencies, weapons, accessories, quests, and rewards. The update is themed around City Z being attacked by aliens, and players must help the Hero Association stop the invasion while collecting exclusive rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the Alien Invasion update.

New Alien Invasion Game Mode

The highlight of the update is the new Alien Invasion mode. In this event, City Z is under attack by waves of aliens led by a massive mothership. Players team up with the Bald Hero and fight off enemies to earn special rewards.

The mode functions similarly to the Escort mode, but uses a completely different reward system. To access the invasion, talk to the Bald Hero in the new area and choose “Lead me to the invasion.”

How to Get Dark Matter Keys

Before entering the Alien Invasion mode, you’ll need Dark Matter Keys. These keys drop from the Secret Boss found in Summer Isles. The drop rate for Dark Matter Keys is around 15%, so players may need to defeat the boss multiple times before obtaining enough keys.

1. Travel to Summer Isles.
2. Locate the Secret Boss.
3. Defeat the boss repeatedly.
4. Collect Dark Matter Keys.
5. Use the keys to access Alien Invasion.

Unlike some previous game modes, Dark Matter Keys cannot be earned inside the invasion itself. This means players will need to continue farming the Summer Isles boss whenever they run out.

Summer Stars Currency

Alien Invasion introduces a brand-new currency called Summer Stars. Summer Stars can be spent in the Invasion Shop to obtain:

Universe Dominator is one of the strongest units introduced so far, reaching approximately 730 damage. It even surpasses some previously popular units such as Elf Mage, making it one of the best units to aim for.

Alien Capsules

The Alien Capsule contains:

• 1% Mythic unit chance.
• 0.1% secret unit chance.

Players farming Alien Invasion will naturally accumulate materials needed for these summons.

Update 3 also introduces several new equipment options.

Can You AFK Alien Invasion?

Unlike the Elf Mage mode, Alien Invasion isn’t fully self-sustaining because Dark Matter Keys don’t drop inside the mode itself.

2. Collecting Dark Matter Keys.
3. Running Alien Invasion.
4. Spending Summer Stars in the shop.
5. Repeating the process.

Because of this requirement, obtaining Universe Dominator may actually take longer than farming Elf Mage.
