How to Get the Escort Key
The main method for obtaining Genos and Boros is through the new Escort Mission. However, players cannot enter this mode without first collecting a special key. To get the key:
- Travel to Summer Docks.
- Start from the spawn area.
- Head toward the right side of the map.
- Continue until you reach the small island containing the Secret Boss.
- Defeat the Secret Boss repeatedly until the key drops.
The key has around a 15% drop chance, so you may need several runs before obtaining one.
How the New Escort Mission Works
After obtaining the key, you can enter the new Escort Mission. This event functions similarly to previous escort activities, but it comes with much tougher requirements. Players need approximately 35 million team power, and only Summer units can participate.
Because of these restrictions, the mission can be difficult for newer players. If your team is not fully upgraded, consider joining stronger players or asking friends for help. The Escort Mission is currently the primary source of many Summer Part 2 rewards.
How to Unlock Genos
Genos can be obtained through the new Summer Part 2 content, including event rewards and capsule summons. Many players have reported receiving Genos from capsules after several pulls, making him one of the easier new units to obtain compared to some previous event characters.
