Broken Blade has received a massive update that introduces plenty of new content for both new and veteran players. The highlight of this patch is the game’s first raid, but that’s only the beginning.
Players can also craft a brand-new Buster weapon, upgrade equipment with the new Weapon Affix system, collect Void Ore, increase the Mastery cap, and redeem several limited-time codes. If you’re wondering what to do first after logging in, this guide covers everything included in the latest Broken Blade update and the fastest progression path.
New Broken Expanse Raid
The biggest addition in this update is the Broken Expanse Raid. Unlike regular farming areas where you defeat groups of enemies, this raid focuses on battling a single powerful boss. The encounter is much more challenging since the boss has a large health pool and several dangerous attacks.
During the fight, the boss can apply an Incurable debuff. While this effect is active, your character’s stats are temporarily reduced, making it much harder to survive and deal damage. Instead of attacking without thinking, you’ll need to watch your health, avoid dangerous attacks, and wait until the debuff expires before returning to full damage.
The raid is also the primary source of several new materials introduced in this update, making it the most important activity to farm.
How to Craft Wyvern Ignition
The update introduces a brand-new Buster weapon called Wyvern Ignition. You can craft it on Midgard Island, but you’ll need several materials first, including:
- 1,000 Ignite
- 100 Dragon Ruby
- Required Buster Pieces
Both Ignite and Dragon Ruby drop from the Broken Expanse Raid, so you’ll need to complete the raid multiple times before crafting the weapon. If your current build already uses high-damage weapons such as Yamato or another strong weapon, it’s recommended to keep using those while farming raid materials. Once Wyvern Ignition is crafted, you can switch your build to focus on Buster damage.
Void Ore Explained
Another important addition is Void Ore. This new upgrade material provides excellent offensive bonuses, including:
- +45% Damage
- +4% Buster Damage
- +6% Attack Speed
- +6% Critical Chance
- +35% Critical Damage
Because it heavily boosts damage, especially Buster builds, it’s one of the best upgrade materials for Wyvern Ignition. Since Void Ore is valuable, avoid using it on temporary weapons. Save it until you’ve crafted your final weapon.
Weapon Affix System
The update also introduces the Weapon Affix feature. This system allows players to roll random bonus effects on their weapons using Truth Scrolls. Affixes work similarly to random stat enhancements:
- One weapon may receive a single powerful bonus.
- Another may receive multiple smaller buffs.
- Some weapons can even roll duplicate effects.
Since every roll is random, getting the perfect combination may take many attempts. Because Truth Scrolls aren’t unlimited, it’s best to save them for the weapon you plan on using long-term instead of spending them on weaker equipment.
Mastery Level Cap Increased
Players can now increase their weapon Mastery all the way to Level 4,000. Since Mastery permanently increases your weapon’s effectiveness, this gives endgame players another long-term progression goal. If you’ve already reached the previous cap, now is the perfect time to continue farming bosses and improving your favorite weapon type.
New Titles and Accessories
This update also includes several new Titles and Accessories. Many of these rewards appear to be connected to the Broken Expanse Raid, so don’t forget to check your loot after every run. Some of these new items could become part of the strongest builds currently available.
4x Luck Event
To celebrate the update, Broken Blade is currently running a 4x Luck Event. This event makes it much easier to farm:
- Raid materials
- Rare accessories
- Titles
- Weapon crafting items
- Other valuable drops
If you’ve been waiting to grind rare rewards, now is one of the best times to do it.
New Broken Blade Codes
Redeem these codes before they expire on July 26, 2026.
- BBDC60K 8 Truth Scrolls
- BBDC61K 10 Void Ore
- BBDC62K 8 Truth Scrolls
- BBDC63K 8 Void Ore
- BBDC64K 8 Truth Scrolls
These rewards are especially useful because they provide free Truth Scrolls for Weapon Affixes and Void Ore for upgrading powerful weapons.
Best Progression Order After the Update
If you’re unsure where to begin, follow this order:
- Redeem every available code.
- Start farming the Broken Expanse Raid.
- Collect Ignite and Dragon Ruby.
- Craft Wyvern Ignition on Midgard Island.
- Save your Void Ore for your strongest weapon.
- Use Truth Scrolls to roll Weapon Affixes.
- Continue leveling your weapon Mastery toward Level 4,000.
- Farm for new Titles and Accessories while the 4x Luck Event is active.
Following this route allows you to unlock nearly every major feature introduced in the update while making your character much stronger.
The latest Broken Blade update adds much more than just a new raid. With powerful new weapons, the Weapon Affix system, Void Ore upgrades, higher Mastery levels, and several free redeem codes, players have plenty of reasons to jump back into the game.
Start by redeeming the new codes, focus on clearing the Broken Expanse Raid, and save your rare materials for Wyvern Ignition if you’re planning to build around the Buster weapon class. With the limited-time 4x Luck Event also available, this is one of the best opportunities to farm valuable rewards and prepare your character for future updates.
