8 Legacy Piece Beginner Guide: Best Progression, Prestige, and Early Game Tips
Legacy Piece has finally arrived, bringing a huge amount of content for Roblox players who enjoy anime-inspired adventure games. From different islands and powerful Specs to Fruits, Traits, Raids, and Prestige, there’s plenty to explore from the moment you begin. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the number of NPCs and features, don’t worry. This beginner guide will help you understand the most important systems and show you the fastest way to grow stronger during the early game.
1. Start Your Journey with the Right Equipment

When you first spawn into Legacy Piece, one of the best things to do is grab a Katana from the Katana Seller. It is a solid beginner weapon that can carry you through your first levels without much trouble. Don’t forget to claim your Group Rewards if you’ve joined the game’s Roblox group, as they provide useful bonuses that help your progression.
You should also take some time to explore the Starter Island. Here you’ll find several important NPCs, including the Shanks NPC, who sells both Saber and Ace. While Saber is decent, Ace is considered one of the strongest early-game Specs, making it a great investment if you have enough currency.
2. Level Up Quickly and Prestige Often
Unlike many Roblox RPGs, Legacy Piece doesn’t lock quests behind level requirements. You are free to accept available quests and level up at your own pace. This makes progression much smoother, especially for new players.
Once you reach the current level cap, your next objective should be Prestige. Visiting the Prestige NPC increases both your maximum level cap and stat limit, allowing your character to become much stronger. The first few Prestige ranks, especially up to Silver I, are relatively easy to complete, making them a priority for every beginner.
3. Get a Good Fruit as Soon as Possible
After earning enough money, visit the Fruit Gacha and roll for a Devil Fruit. While every player has different luck, Magma is one of the strongest Fruits for beginners thanks to its excellent damage and reliable farming ability.
Legacy Piece also includes Logia effects. If your character is stronger than the enemies you’re fighting, weaker NPCs may not be able to damage you, making farming much easier.
4. Upgrade Your Character Beyond Levels

Character strength isn’t only determined by your level. Several upgrade systems become available as you progress through different islands.
Some of the most important upgrades include:
- Trait Rerolls for powerful passive abilities.
- Potential Rerolls to improve your character stats.
- Armament Haki for additional combat power.
- Observation Haki to improve awareness.
- Enchantments that strengthen weapons, Specs, and accessories.
- Sovereign of Fates, which rerolls additional stats on your equipment.
Don’t ignore these systems because they provide massive boosts once you begin fighting stronger bosses.
5. Important NPCs Worth Visiting

Every island introduces new NPCs that unlock additional content.
On Legacy Island, you’ll find the Trait Reroll NPC, Mission NPC, Boss Ticket Seller, Fruit Gacha, Banner System, Tatsumaki Seller, Fishing NPC, and the Haki progression NPC.
Jungle Island features useful NPCs like Goku Seller, Flash Step trainer, and Okarun Seller.
Iceland is home to the Armament Haki questline, Enchantment NPC, and Sovereign of Fates.
A City contains several valuable NPCs, including Hero Seller, Rudo Seller, Material Shop, and multiple World Boss spawn locations.
Later islands unlock even stronger Specs, including Gojo, Sukuna, Uta, Jane Juliet, Aizen, Stark, Rukia, Zenitsu, Akaza, and Kaneki.
Fortunately, Legacy Piece also includes an NPC Tracker that helps players locate important NPCs across every island.
6. Farm Meteors for Tatsumaki
One of the strongest early-game Specs is Tatsumaki. To unlock it, you’ll need materials obtained from Meteor events that appear roughly every 15 minutes on Jungle Island.
Since Tatsumaki offers excellent damage output, it’s worth farming these events whenever possible. Saving your materials early will let you unlock this Spec much sooner.
7. Best Early Game Progression Path

If you’re unsure what to do after starting, follow this progression route:
- Buy the Katana.
- Complete quests until you earn enough money.
- Roll for a Fruit, with Magma being an excellent option.
- Reach the level cap.
- Prestige repeatedly until reaching Silver I.
- Upgrade your Race, Trait, and Potential whenever possible.
- Farm Meteors for Tatsumaki materials.
- Unlock Armament Haki and Observation Haki.
- Begin farming stronger Specs like Rudo, Ace, Griffon, Stark, or Aizen.
Following this path makes progression much smoother while preparing you for tougher content.
8. How Raids Work
Raids become available after obtaining Raid Keys. These keys can drop from enemies or be earned by completing quests involving bosses like Gojo and Sukuna.
Each Raid features four difficulty settings and consists of ten waves of enemies. Jane Juliet appears during Wave 5, while Uta serves as the final boss on Wave 10.
Even the Medium difficulty can be challenging for newer players, so it’s recommended to improve your equipment, Prestige level, and Specs before attempting higher difficulties.
Legacy Piece launches with an impressive amount of content for both casual and hardcore players. Between the large selection of Specs, Devil Fruits, Haki upgrades, Prestige progression, Raids, and World Bosses, there’s always something new to work toward.
For beginners, the best strategy is to focus on leveling quickly, Prestige whenever possible, unlock a strong Fruit, and work toward getting Tatsumaki. Once your build starts coming together, you’ll be ready to challenge stronger bosses, complete raids, and unlock some of the game’s most powerful abilities.
