How to Repair the UFO and Find All 5 Batteries in 99 Nights in the Forest Guide!
The UFO event is one of the biggest objectives you can complete in 99 Nights in the Forest. Once the UFO crashes into the map, you’ll need to search for Alien Outposts, complete several tasks, collect five batteries, and finally power up the mysterious spacecraft. After repairing it, you’ll unlock an alien-filled area with exclusive rewards and new challenges.
If you’re wondering where to find the batteries or how to complete the UFO event, this guide explains everything you need to know.
When Does the UFO Spawn?

The UFO does not appear immediately when you start a run. Most players will find the crashed UFO beginning around Day 3. Once it appears, you can interact with it and begin the repair process. The UFO already contains a scanner that helps track your progress and points you toward nearby Alien Outposts. Your main goal is simple:
- Find five Alien Batteries.
- Insert all five into the crashed UFO.
- Enter the repaired UFO and clear the alien encounter.
How to Get Alien Batteries

Alien Batteries come from Alien Outposts scattered across the map. Each outpost gives you a small challenge to complete. Once the objective is finished, you’ll receive one Alien Battery along with an Alien Chest containing bonus loot. Since outposts spawn randomly, the exact objectives may be different in every match.
Alien Outpost Challenges
Every Alien Outpost has its own task before rewarding you with a battery. Some of the most common objectives include:
Defeat Aliens
Several outposts simply require eliminating nearby aliens. Once every enemy has been defeated, the battery will appear automatically for you to collect.
Place Alien Bodies
Certain outposts ask you to place defeated alien bodies onto a scanning platform in the center. Simply drag the alien corpse to the marked area. Once the scanner accepts it, you’ll immediately receive your battery.
Fishing Challenges
Some locations replace combat with a fishing objective. Complete the requested task and the battery will unlock just like the combat-based challenges.
Face Scanner Puzzle

You may also encounter a scanner requesting a face scan. Although it seems like you need a special Alien Mask, you can actually complete this objective by dragging an alien body to the scanner. The scanner recognizes the alien and rewards you with another battery.
Don’t Forget the Alien Chests
Every completed outpost also rewards an Alien Chest. These chests can contain useful equipment such as:
- UFO Scrap
- Laser Sword
- Alien-themed materials
- Other special rewards
Opening every chest is highly recommended since some of the gear makes the UFO battle much easier.
Can You Find Batteries Outside Outposts?
- Yes.
Although Alien Outposts are the primary source of batteries, some players have also found batteries inside loot chests around the map. Because of this, it’s worth opening every chest you discover while exploring.
Use the UFO Scanner

Every time you install another battery into the UFO, the onboard scanner updates. The scanner shows:
- Completed Alien Outposts
- Remaining outposts
- General direction of the next objective
Instead of searching randomly, check the scanner after every battery to make locating the remaining outposts much faster.
Repairing the UFO
Once you’ve collected all five Alien Batteries, return to the crashed UFO. Insert every battery into the repair slots until the display shows:
5/5 Batteries
After the final battery is installed, the UFO powers back on and the entrance opens, allowing you to enter.
Inside the UFO
Repairing the UFO is only half the challenge. Inside you’ll encounter numerous hostile aliens guarding different sections of the ship. Some enemies deal heavy damage, so it’s a good idea to prepare before entering. Bring plenty of supplies such as:
- Fully loaded firearms
- Spears or strong melee weapons
- Medkits
- Cooked food for healing
- Extra ammunition
Running out of ammo during the fight can quickly put you in danger.
How the Alien Doors Work
As you explore the UFO, you’ll eventually reach security doors that require specific alien scans. To unlock them, defeat nearby aliens and drag the correct alien body to the matching scanner. Each scanner only accepts the correct alien type, so pay attention to the color or appearance of the required enemy before attempting to open the next section. Repeat this process until you’ve cleared the ship.
Repairing the UFO in 99 Nights in the Forest is one of the game’s biggest side objectives and offers plenty of valuable rewards. After the UFO appears around Day 3, you’ll need to complete Alien Outposts, collect all five Alien Batteries, and install them into the crashed ship.
Once the UFO is fully powered, you’ll gain access to an alien-filled dungeon featuring tougher enemies, locked security doors, and exclusive loot. As long as you come prepared with enough supplies and complete each outpost carefully, you’ll have little trouble finishing the entire UFO event.
