All New Pets and Eggs in Grow a Garden Campfire 4 Update Guide

The Campfire Part 4 update adds several new pets and expands the Campfire Collection in Grow a Garden. Most of these companions are obtained from the Campfire Egg, while one special pet requires crafting. If you’re aiming to complete the collection or unlock the Campfire Shovel, collecting every pet should be one of your top priorities. This guide covers every new pet, how to get each one, and the easiest way to farm Campfire Eggs during the event.

How to Get Campfire Eggs

Before you can hatch the new pets, you’ll need to craft Campfire Eggs at the Campfire Workshop. Each Campfire Egg requires:

  • 1 Rare Egg
  • 1 Mango Seed
  • 1 Billion Cash

After providing the required materials, you’ll need to wait around 45 minutes for the crafting process to finish. Since every hatch is random, crafting multiple eggs is the best way to complete the collection faster.

All Campfire Egg Pets

There are four pets available from the Campfire Egg, each with a different hatch chance.

Cicada Hatch Rate: 55%

Cicada is the most common pet from the Campfire Egg, making it the easiest one to obtain. Most players will hatch this pet multiple times while searching for the rarer companions.

Newt Hatch Rate: 35%

Newt is less common than Cicada but should still appear regularly after opening several Campfire Eggs. It is one of the easier pets needed for the Campfire Collection.

Nightjar Hatch Rate: 9.5%

Nightjar is considered a rare hatch. It may take several Campfire Eggs before it finally appears, so expect to spend additional crafting materials if you’re trying to complete the event collection.

Fire Wisp Hatch Rate: 0.5%

Fire Wisp is the rarest pet available from the Campfire Egg. With only a 0.5% drop chance, it may require dozens of eggs before you finally unlock it. Many players also choose to trade for this pet instead of relying entirely on luck.

How to Get Flame Bear

Besides the four Campfire Egg pets, the update also introduces Flame Bear. Unlike the others, Flame Bear cannot hatch directly from a Campfire Egg. Instead, you’ll need to craft it using:

  • 1 Campfire Egg
  • 1 Polar Bear
  • 15 Million Cash

If you don’t already own a Polar Bear, you’ll first need to hatch one from Legendary Eggs before crafting Flame Bear.

The Campfire Part 4 update introduces five new collectible pets, with four available from Campfire Eggs and Flame Bear unlocked through crafting. While Cicada and Newt are fairly common, Nightjar and especially Fire Wisp are much harder to obtain. If you’re working toward completing the Campfire Collection and unlocking the Campfire Shovel, crafting Campfire Eggs regularly and trading duplicates with other players will make the process much easier.
