Rockfruit has officially returned with a completely fresh start. Since this is a brand-new version of the game, every player begins from scratch, meaning old saves and progress from the previous version are no longer available. While the game is still in its launch phase, there is already enough content to keep new players busy, especially if your goal is to level up quickly and prepare for future updates.
If you’re just getting started, this guide covers everything you need to know, including the best way to level, when to buy your first Devil Fruit, how Rebirth works, and where to find important NPCs.
1. Start by Using All Available Codes
The first thing every new player should do is redeem the latest Rockfruit codes. Most launch codes reward players with useful boosts, including Experience Potions and other 2x bonuses. After redeeming them, activate your Experience Potion before you begin farming. This allows you to level much faster and reach higher-level islands in less time. Even without boosts, leveling in Rockfruit is fairly smooth, but using these free rewards will make your early game much easier.
2. Focus on Completing Quests
The fastest leveling method is simply following the quest line. Each island offers quests that match your current level, and new quest sets become available every 1,000 levels. Instead of randomly defeating enemies, keep tracking your current quest and complete it before moving on. By repeating quests continuously, you’ll earn experience, money, and equipment at the same time.
3. Buy Boxing Early
One of the best investments for beginners is the Boxing fighting style. Buying Boxing early gives you a reliable melee weapon that deals solid damage throughout the early game. It also helps save money before you decide which Devil Fruit or weapon you want to use later. For players without premium items, Boxing is an excellent starting option.
4. Save Money for Your First Devil Fruit
After earning around 5 million Beli, head back to the Starter Island and purchase a Devil Fruit.
At launch, almost every Devil Fruit is useful enough for leveling, so don’t worry too much about finding the strongest one immediately. Simply choose one that fits your playstyle and continue progressing through the game.
You can always replace it later as you collect more resources.
5. Is Yoru Worth Buying?
One optional purchase available at launch is Yoru. The weapon can be purchased with Robux, although it is also obtainable through gameplay. If you decide to buy it early, it provides strong damage and makes leveling much faster compared to beginner weapons. While it isn’t required to enjoy the game, players who want quicker progression may find it worthwhile.
6. Equip Better Gear as You Progress
One of Rockfruit’s best launch features is its equipment system. Most enemies and bosses have a chance to drop equipment, and the game clearly displays each item’s drop rate before you fight them. This makes farming much more convenient since you always know what rewards are available. Open the Equipment menu through your Stats screen and equip your best gear whenever you obtain new drops. Higher-level enemies naturally drop stronger equipment with better bonuses.
7. Understanding Classes and Rebirth
Rockfruit also includes a Class system that gives your character additional bonuses. To change your class, you’ll need Class Rerolls. There are currently two ways to obtain them:
- Purchase them using Robux.
- Earn them through the Rebirth system.
Rebirth is currently the main free method.
When you Rebirth, your character loses its level and stat points, but your important progression stays intact. Your equipment, items, and overall progress remain, allowing you to level up again much faster.
In return, you’ll receive rewards such as:
- Class Rerolls
- Potions
- Other useful progression items
Since Experience Potions help you regain levels quickly, performing Rebirth is generally worth it if you’re aiming for stronger classes.
8. Important NPC Locations
As you continue exploring, you’ll encounter many NPCs that unlock fighting styles, weapons, and other useful features.

Starter Island contains several important NPCs:
- Haki Color Reroll NPC

Event Island
The Event Island is available, but currently doesn’t contain any launch content. It will likely be expanded in future updates.
Boss Island
Boss Island allows players to use Boss Orbs to summon special bosses.
These bosses can reward:
- Exclusive equipment
- Crafting materials
- Other rare drops
Since boss rewards include stronger gear than regular enemies, this island becomes an important farming location later in the game.
9. Best Beginner Progression
If you’re unsure what to do after joining Rockfruit, follow this order:
- Redeem every available code.
- Use your Experience Potion.
- Complete quests continuously.
- Buy Boxing as your first fighting style.
- Save up 5 million Beli.
- Purchase your first Devil Fruit.
- Equip every gear upgrade you obtain.
- Farm bosses for stronger equipment.
- Rebirth when available to earn Class Rerolls.
- Continue leveling with your improved class bonuses.
Rockfruit may have just launched, but it already includes plenty of systems that make progression enjoyable. Questing feels straightforward, boss drops clearly show their rates, and the Rebirth system gives players a good reason to keep improving their characters beyond the level cap.
With more islands, Devil Fruits, bosses, and events expected in future updates, now is a great time to build your character. Focus on leveling efficiently, collect stronger equipment, and don’t forget to take advantage of Rebirth rewards to unlock a better class for the long run.
