Fisch Drylands Guide – How to Reach the New Area, Complete Quests, and Get the Marrow Rod

The Drylands is one of the biggest updates released for Fisch, introducing a brand-new area filled with exclusive fish, new quests, unique cosmetics, and powerful equipment to unlock. The highlight of the update is the Mysterious Marrow questline, which eventually rewards players with the Marrow Rod after completing several objectives. If you’re visiting the Drylands for the first time, here’s everything you should know, including how to get there, what rewards are available, and which tasks you should complete first.

How to Get to the Drylands

Before you can explore the Drylands, you’ll need to travel to FischFest Island.

Once you arrive, head toward the back of the large castle. Behind the island, you’ll spot another landmass nearby. From there, simply walk across to reach the new Drylands area.

After arriving, you’ll gain access to the new fishing spots, NPCs, quests, and other update content.

New Cosmetics in the Drylands Update

Mysterious Marrow Quest Guide

The Drylands features a dedicated questline known as the Mysterious Marrow Quest.

Rather than completing everything at once, the quest is divided into multiple stages. Each objective must be finished before the next one becomes available, so you’ll need to progress through the storyline in order.

The first two quests are especially important because they unlock the rest of the progression. Completing these early objectives should be your top priority after entering the Drylands.

How to Get the Marrow Rod

The Marrow Rod isn’t obtained directly from an NPC. Instead, you’ll need to craft it after progressing through the Mysterious Marrow questline.

Once you’ve completed the required quests and collected every crafting material, travel to the Ancient Archives on Ancient Isle.

This is where you’ll finally be able to craft the Marrow Rod.

Without finishing the earlier quest objectives, crafting the rod won’t be possible, so make sure you complete each stage in order.
