Grow a Garden Clam Event Guide: How to Get Coastal Eggs and Tide Tokens (Summer Update 2)!

Summer Update 2 has arrived in Grow a Garden, bringing a brand-new Clam Event, Tide Tokens, exclusive seeds, pets, and several limited-time rewards. The update also expands the Summer Shop with new items that can only be purchased using the new event currency. How to Start the Clam Event

The new Clam NPC can be found in the event area. Unlike previous events, this one revolves around sacrificing one of your existing pets in exchange for a future reward. Simply interact with the Clam NPC and choose the option to give it a pet. You can offer almost any pet, except for Summer Event pets. After selecting a pet:

• Give the pet to the Clam.
• Wait for the timer to finish.
• Return after one hour to claim your reward.

Clam Event Rewards

Once the one-hour timer expires, the Clam will return one of the following rewards:

• Coastal Egg
• Random Summer-themed Pet

Because the reward is random, you may need to repeat the process several times if you’re hunting for a specific Summer pet.

How to Earn Tide Tokens

Summer Update 2 also introduces Tide Tokens, a new event currency used to purchase exclusive rewards. You earn Tide Tokens by participating in the High Tide Harvest event. The exchange rate is simple:

• 1,000 Harvest Points = 1 Tide Token

Harvest Points are earned by submitting crops during the High Tide Harvest event.

Keep in mind that the event only accepts submissions while it’s active, so you’ll need to wait for the timer if the event hasn’t started yet.

During the High Tide Harvest event, collect crops from your garden and submit them to the event collection area. The more Harvest Points you earn, the more Tide Tokens you’ll receive, allowing you to unlock additional rewards from the Summer Shop. Checking the event timer regularly will help you avoid missing submission periods.

How to Spend Tide Tokens

Tide Tokens can be spent in the second tab of the Summer Shop, where you’ll find several new event-exclusive items. Available rewards include:

• Coastal Seed Pack
• Walrus Pet
• Drippy Delight
• Title Crate
• Sea Urchin
• Summer Splash Sprinkler

These rewards are only available through Tide Tokens, making the High Tide Harvest event an important activity during Summer Update 2.

New Coastal Seed Pack

The Coastal Seed Pack contains several new crops introduced with the update. Possible seeds include:

• Sunshade Flower
• Beach Ball Cactus
• Sand Pail Shrub
• Pool Noodle
• Sun Fruit
• Shark Splash Seed
