Artifacts are one of the most valuable progression systems in Survive Zombie Arena. These wearable items provide passive bonuses that remain active throughout a match, making it easier to survive longer waves, earn more Credits, and defeat stronger zombies.
From boosting weapon damage to automatically attacking enemies and increasing your income, Artifacts can greatly improve your overall performance. Since you can equip up to three Artifacts at once, choosing the right combination is an important part of building your character. How to Get Artifacts in Survive Zombie Arena
Artifacts can only be obtained by opening Artifact Crates. To purchase Artifact Crates:
- Spawn into the game.
- Walk to the Upgrade Shop.
- Head left until you reach the Artifacts Shop.
- Press E to interact.
- Select Open 1 or Open 5.
Artifact Crate prices are:
- Open 1: 100,000 Credits or 99 Robux
- Open 5: 500,000 Credits or 379 Robux
Each crate rewards one random Artifact.
Artifact Drop Rates
Artifacts are divided into five rarity tiers.
- Common: 45%
- Uncommon: 30%
- Rare: 15%
- Epic: 8%
- Legendary: 2%
Each Artifact within the same rarity shares that rarity’s drop rate equally.
Individual drop chances are approximately:
- Common Artifact: 7.5%
- Uncommon Artifact: 6%

- Legendary Artifact: 1%
The game includes a pity mechanic for Legendary Artifacts. If you open 50 Artifact Crates without receiving a Legendary Artifact, you’re guaranteed to obtain one after reaching the pity threshold.
How to Equip Artifacts
Players can eventually equip three Artifacts simultaneously. Artifact slot costs are:
- Slot 1: Free
- Slot 2: 5,000 Credits
- Slot 3: 15,000 Credits
To equip them:
- Click Loadout.
- Press E to open the menu.
- Select the Artifacts tab.
- Click the Artifact you want to equip.
