Anime Expeditions Raids Guide – How to Unlock, Play, Rewards, and Raid Shop!
Raids are one of the best endgame activities in Anime Expeditions, offering tougher enemies, unique bosses, and exclusive rewards that aren’t available through the standard Story mode. Unlike regular stages, each Raid features special enemy modifiers that make battles more challenging while rewarding players with Raid Tokens, rare units, and valuable upgrade materials. If you’re ready to test your strongest team, here’s everything you need to know about unlocking Raids, completing each act, and spending your hard-earned Raid Tokens.
What Are Raids in Anime Expeditions?
Raids are a high-level game mode designed for players who want more difficult battles and better progression. Every Raid consists of multiple acts, each introducing stronger enemies, different bosses, and unique stage modifiers that change how battles play out.
Besides the usual rewards like Gems, Gold, Unit EXP, and Player EXP, Raids also reward Raid Tokens, which can be exchanged for valuable upgrade materials in the Raid Shop. Some Raid-exclusive units can also drop at the end of each stage. Generally, higher Raid acts offer better drop rates for these exclusive characters, making them worth farming if you’re building stronger teams.

Raid Shop Guide
Every Raid completion rewards Raid Tokens, which can be spent inside the Raid Shop. Unlike other shops in Anime Expeditions, the Raid Shop has limited purchase quantities. Once an item’s purchase limit has been reached, you’ll have to wait until more become available through future updates. Current Raid Shop items include:
Sprite (Grey) — Costs 5 Raid Tokens
- Purchase Limit: 100
- Used as a basic crafting material.
Trait Crystal — Costs 10 Raid Tokens
- Purchase Limit: 50
- Rerolls a unit’s Trait.
Stat Reroll — Costs 10 Raid Tokens (3 per purchase)
- Purchase Limit: 10
- Rerolls a unit’s stat potential.
Stat Lock — Costs 10 Raid Tokens
- Purchase Limit: 10
- Locks a chosen stat while rerolling.
Equipment Reroll — Costs 10 Raid Tokens (3 per purchase)
- Purchase Limit: 10
- Rerolls equipment stats.
Equipment Lock — Costs 10 Raid Tokens
- Purchase Limit: 10
- Prevents selected equipment stats from changing during rerolls.
Saving Raid Tokens for Trait Crystals and Equipment upgrades is usually the most efficient long-term investment, especially if you’re preparing units for harder content.
Tips for Clearing Raids Faster
Since Raid enemies are significantly stronger than those found in Story mode, proper preparation is essential. Here are a few tips before entering:
- Reach at least Player Level 25 before attempting Raids.
- Upgrade your strongest units as much as possible.
- Equip units with powerful Traits to improve overall damage.
- Learn each boss’s stage modifiers before starting.
- Farm higher acts once your team is capable for better rewards.
- Spend Raid Tokens wisely on permanent progression items.
Raids are one of the most rewarding activities in Anime Expeditions, offering exclusive units, valuable Raid Tokens, and plenty of resources for upgrading your roster. While the difficulty is much higher than Story mode, the improved rewards make it one of the best places to farm once you’ve reached Player Level 25. By building a strong team, understanding each act’s mechanics, and investing your Raid Tokens wisely, you’ll progress much faster and be well prepared for future endgame content.
