S Tier Characters
These survivors offer the strongest overall performance across almost every mission type. They provide excellent utility, survivability, or crowd control while remaining valuable throughout long runs.
Filbert
Role: Shield
Stats
- Health: 5/5
- Speed: 1/5
- Stamina: 5/5
- Stealth: 3/5
- Skill: 1/5
- Damage: 4/5
Ability: Grumpy Old Man
- 40-second cooldown
- Releases a shockwave that stuns nearby Corrupteds for 10 seconds.
- Restores Stamina for every enemy stunned.
Filbert remains one of the safest characters to bring into difficult missions. His powerful area stun can completely stop dangerous enemy pushes, giving teammates enough time to revive allies, clear objectives, or reposition. While his movement speed is extremely low, his massive Health and Stamina pools make him surprisingly difficult to eliminate.
Drakula
Role: Hunter
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 2/5
- Stamina: 2/5
- Stealth: 4/5
- Skill: 5/5
- Damage: 4/5
Ability: Blood Sap
- 60-second cooldown
- Slows nearby Corrupteds by 50%.
- Grants Drakula a random temporary buff whenever enemies are slowed.
Drakula excels at clearing Infections thanks to his exceptional Skill rating and high damage output. Blood Sap creates breathing room while simultaneously strengthening Drakula through temporary buffs. Although his mobility isn’t great, careful positioning allows him to become one of the strongest objective-focused characters in the game.
Dawn
Role: Shield
Stats
- Health: 4/5
- Speed: 2/5
- Stamina: 4/5
- Stealth: 5/5
- Skill: 2/5
- Damage: 2/5
Ability: Mother’s Touch
- 90-second cooldown
- Grants one teammate a permanent Shield Heart for the current Trial.
- Gives nearby teammates a temporary Speed Boost.
Dawn shines in coordinated groups where keeping teammates alive is the top priority. Her permanent Shield Heart can prevent costly mistakes during long runs, while her excellent Stealth helps her support allies without constantly attracting enemy attention. She’s less effective for solo players but invaluable in organized teams.
Caspian
Role: Lure
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 5/5
- Stamina: 5/5
- Stealth: 1/5
- Skill: 2/5
- Damage: 1/5
Ability: Water Slide
- 45-second cooldown
- Slides across the ground.
- Leaves puddles that slow Corrupteds.
- Grants teammates a temporary Speed Boost.
Caspian is arguably the strongest dedicated lure currently available. His incredible Speed and Stamina allow him to safely draw enemy attention away from teammates while creating escape routes using Water Slide. Although he contributes very little direct damage, his ability to control enemy movement easily earns him a place among the best characters.
A Tier Characters
These survivors remain excellent choices and perform well in most situations. They simply lack the overwhelming impact of the S Tier characters.
Leon
Role: Shield
Stats
- Health: 4/5
- Speed: 2/5
- Stamina: 3/5
- Stealth: 4/5
- Skill: 4/5
- Damage: 3/5
Ability: Gold Shield
- Creates a protective zone for 12 seconds.
- Boosts Stamina regeneration.
- Protects teammates standing inside.
Leon offers one of the most balanced defensive kits in Warden. His protective field works especially well during objective defense or reviving teammates. His only major drawback is the lengthy cooldown, preventing him from matching the consistency of higher-ranked characters.
Nova
Role: Support
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 3/5
- Stamina: 3/5
- Stealth: 2/5
- Skill: 4/5
- Damage: 3/5
Ability: Echolocation
- Reveals nearby Corrupteds and Infections.
- Restores 25% Stamina.
- Lasts for 8 seconds.
Nova excels at providing battlefield information. Knowing enemy locations and objective positions dramatically improves team efficiency, especially on unfamiliar maps. While her Stealth is below average, the vision advantage she provides more than makes up for it.
Jerry
Role: Hunter
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 3/5
- Stamina: 2/5
- Stealth: 4/5
- Skill: 4/5
- Damage: 4/5
Ability: Eye Warp
- Places a teleport portal.
- Allows Jerry to instantly return to the portal’s location.
Jerry rewards careful planning. His teleport can safely extract him after risky objective pushes or scouting missions, making him one of the strongest Hunter characters for experienced players. However, poor portal placement greatly reduces his effectiveness.
Yoggy
Role: Lure
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 4/5
- Stamina: 5/5
- Stealth: 1/5
- Skill: 3/5
- Damage: 1/5
Ability: Ice Yelp
- Attracts nearby Corrupteds.
- Creates an icy field that freezes enemies.
Yoggy specializes in controlling enemy movement through crowd control rather than pure mobility. His freezing ability can rescue teammates during chaotic encounters, although careless use may attract more enemies than the group can safely handle.
Mylo
Role: Hunter
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 3/5
- Stamina: 3/5
- Stealth: 3/5
- Skill: 3/5
- Damage: 3/5
Ability: Morale Boost
- Increases team Damage.
- Improves Stamina regeneration.
- Boosts Stealth.
- Lasts 20 seconds.
Mylo is the definition of versatility. Every stat sits comfortably in the middle, allowing him to adapt to almost any situation. His team-wide buff significantly increases combat efficiency, making him a dependable option in public matchmaking.
B Tier Characters
These characters remain playable but generally require more effort to achieve results compared to higher-ranked survivors.
Vaelis
Role: Support
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 4/5
- Stamina: 4/5
- Stealth: 2/5
- Skill: 3/5
- Damage: 2/5
Ability: Sniff
- Reveals half of all active Corrupteds.
- Slows revealed enemies.
Vaelis has solid mobility and decent utility, but his ability suffers from inconsistency since it only reveals part of the enemy population. When key threats remain hidden, his overall value drops considerably compared to Nova or other support characters.
Azalea
Role: Lure
Stats
- Health: 3/5
- Speed: 5/5
- Stamina: 4/5
- Stealth: 1/5
- Skill: 2/5
- Damage: 2/5
Ability: Spinning Top
- Performs a fast aerial dash.
- Has a 25% chance to generate a consumable trinket.
Azalea is easily one of the fastest characters in Warden, making her enjoyable to play. However, much of her value depends on a random chance to generate consumables, making her less reliable than Caspian or Yoggy when filling the Lure role.
Which Warden Character Should You Unlock First?
If you’re just starting out, prioritize these survivors:
- Filbert — Best all-around tank with incredible crowd control.
- Drakula — Excellent for clearing objectives quickly.
- Caspian — The strongest dedicated lure for team play.
- Dawn — Outstanding support for multiplayer groups.
- Nova — Great utility thanks to map-wide enemy detection.
These characters offer the highest overall value and remain useful well into the endgame.
Warden features a relatively small roster, but every survivor plays differently thanks to their unique abilities and role-specific strengths. While personal preference always matters, investing your resources into the strongest characters early can make progression significantly smoother. For players looking for maximum efficiency, Filbert, Drakula, Dawn, and Caspian currently stand out as the strongest survivors available.
Meanwhile, characters like Leon, Nova, Jerry, Yoggy, and Mylo remain excellent alternatives capable of performing well in nearly every Trial. As future updates introduce new survivors and balance changes, these rankings may evolve, but this list should provide a solid starting point for anyone building their ideal Warden roster.
