Unscathed Aura Tier List: Best Auras for Combat

Choosing the right Aura in Unscathed can make a big difference when fighting regular enemies and bosses. However, rarity alone does not determine how useful an Aura is. Some of the easiest Auras to obtain already have a complete combat moveset, while some extremely rare Auras offer the same damage values.

This Unscathed Aura tier list focuses specifically on combat performance. The rankings consider Normal Skills, Critical Skills, damage multipliers, accuracy, elemental support, accessibility, and how useful each Aura remains as you progress.

Normal Skills deal 0.33× damage with 100% accuracy, while Critical Skills deal 1× damage with 70% accuracy. Based on the available combat values, Aura rarity does not provide an additional direct damage bonus.

Unscathed Aura Tier List

The general ranking is:

  • S Tier: Best practical combat Auras with strong skills and useful support.
  • A Tier: Excellent combat choices, although they may not provide a major upgrade over S Tier.
  • B Tier: Strong and usable Auras, but their rarity or acquisition difficulty makes them less efficient.
  • C Tier: Mostly early-game Auras that work until you obtain a better option.
  • D Tier: Weak starter Auras that should generally be replaced quickly.

S Tier Auras

Flame

Uncommon | Fire | 1 in 1,300

Flame is one of the best early combat Auras because it is relatively easy to obtain while already providing a complete Normal and Critical Skill setup. Its Normal Skill, Ember Slash, deals 0.33× damage with perfect accuracy, while Inferno Burst provides a 1× Critical with 70% accuracy.

Its Fire typing also gives it access to useful Fire-related support, making Flame valuable well beyond the early game. Since much rarer Fire Auras can use the same basic damage values, there is little reason to replace Flame simply because you found a rarer Aura.

Geoshade

Uncommon | Earth | 1 in 2,001

Geoshade provides an excellent combination of accessibility and combat performance. Stone Jab deals 0.33× damage with 100% accuracy, while Umbral Quake provides the important 1× Critical.

Earth also has useful farming and progression support through Overgrown and other Earth-related traits. Because Geoshade can provide the same basic combat damage as significantly rarer Earth Auras, it is one of the best value choices available.

Ascend

Uncommon | Light | 1 in 3,000

Ascend is a strong Light Aura that provides both parts of a complete combat kit. Rising Palm is the reliable 0.33× Normal Skill, while Heavens Ascent gives you a 1× Critical.

Light also has useful support through Eden, which can help with both Aura rolls and Coin farming. Since the more exclusive Light Auras do not provide better base combat multipliers, Ascend can remain your main Light Aura for a long time.

Soulbound

Uncommon | Night | 1 in 4,000

Soulbound is another excellent early Aura because it is one of the first Night options with a Critical Skill. Soul Lash provides consistent 0.33× damage, while Spirit Reckoning gives you a 1× Critical.

The Critical is especially useful against high-HP enemies and bosses. Although Night does not have quite as many specialized farming options as some elemental types, Soulbound offers enough combat value to remain useful for a large part of your progression.

Fallen

Uncommon | Demon | 1 in 8,888

Fallen is one of the most practical Demon Auras in Unscathed. Grave Strike provides reliable 0.33× Normal damage, while Fallen Wrath gives you a 1× Critical for tougher enemies.

Demon also has strong supporting options through Rapture, Demon Luck, and Demonic Ascension. This gives Fallen a well-rounded setup that makes it useful for both combat and progression.

Aqua

Rare | Water | 1 in 16,000

Aqua takes longer to obtain than the Uncommon Auras above it, but it offers a strong Water-based combat setup. Aqua Jet deals 0.33× damage with 100% accuracy, while Maelstrom Crash provides the 1× Critical.

Water has several useful supporting options, including Monsoon, Water Luck, Surging Haste, Tidecaller’s Luck, and Tempest Ascension. Aqua is therefore one of the best Water Auras to build around without needing to chase extremely rare alternatives.

A Tier Auras

Nocturnal

Rare | Night | 1 in 25,000

Nocturnal has a complete Night combat kit, with Night Fang dealing 0.33× damage and Midnight Eclipse providing a 1× Critical. It is reliable for both normal enemies and bosses.

However, it does not provide a direct damage improvement over Soulbound. If you already have Soulbound, there is little reason to chase Nocturnal purely for combat.

Cupid

Rare | Basic | 1 in 40,000

Cupid is one of the better Basic Auras because it has both a Normal and Critical Skill. Heart Shot provides 0.33× damage, while Love Barrage deals 1× damage with 70% accuracy.

Its biggest weakness is the lack of specialized elemental support. Still, it is a strong all-purpose Aura and can remain useful until you obtain a better-supported option.

Luminara

Limited | Light | 1 in 50,000

Luminara is a Limited Light Aura with Light Lance as its Normal Skill and Radiant Judgement as its Critical. Both provide the same basic combat multipliers as other complete Aura kits.

Its Limited status gives it additional collection value, while Light support through Eden makes it useful in combat. However, Ascend can already provide similar combat performance with much better accessibility.

Shogun’s Wrath

Rare | Basic | 1 in 69,000

Shogun’s Wrath has Katana Cross for its Normal Skill and Shogun’s Decree for its Critical. This gives it a complete combat kit that works against both ordinary enemies and bosses.

Its Basic typing prevents it from getting the same specialized support as Fire, Earth, or Water Auras. Still, it is worth keeping, particularly because it can also be useful for higher-level crafting.

Falling Crescent

Rare | Night | 1 in 70,000

Falling Crescent provides Crescent Cut and Moonfall, giving it the standard 0.33× Normal and 1× Critical setup.

Moonfall makes it perfectly capable of dealing with bosses, but it does not offer a major combat improvement over Soulbound. Its high rarity is therefore more valuable for collection and prestige than raw combat performance.

Infernal Surge

Rare | Demon | 1 in 88,888

Infernal Surge comes with Surge Strike and Hellfire Overload. Its Demon typing also gives it access to useful supporting traits.

The problem is that Fallen can already provide practically identical combat output at much better odds. Infernal Surge is still a strong Aura, but it is better viewed as a rare alternative rather than a necessary upgrade.

Tidal Crest

Rare | Water | 1 in 99,999

Tidal Crest uses Crest Wave and Tsunami Crown to provide a complete Water combat kit. Its Water support makes it useful in a variety of builds.

However, Aqua has the same basic damage and accuracy values and is much easier to obtain. Tidal Crest is therefore more of a premium sidegrade than a major power increase.

B Tier Auras

Pyrestorm

Epic | Fire | 1 in 125,000

Pyrestorm is a strong Fire Aura with Cinder Slash and Firestorm Requiem. It has everything needed for normal combat and boss encounters.

Its main issue is efficiency. Flame can provide the same basic combat multipliers at dramatically better odds. Keep Pyrestorm if you obtain it, but there is no need to chase it solely for damage.

Ashling

Epic | Fire | 1 in 150,000

Ashling uses Ember Talon and Rebirth Inferno, giving it a complete Fire combat kit.

The problem is that it does not provide a meaningful numerical advantage over Flame or Pyrestorm. It is an excellent collection pull, but replacing Flame with Ashling is not necessary if combat performance is your only concern.

Stonebloom

Epic | Earth | 1 in 200,000

Stonebloom has Petal Slam and Terra Blossom, providing reliable Normal and Critical damage. Its Earth typing also benefits from Overgrown support.

Geoshade already provides essentially the same combat performance at much better odds, which prevents Stonebloom from ranking higher. Keep it for combat, collection, and crafting purposes.

Divine Lullaby

Epic | Light | 1 in 250,000

Divine Lullaby has Sacred Chord and Requiem of Dawn, giving it a complete Light combat kit.

Its Critical is useful against bosses, but its combat numbers do not surpass Ascend. The rarity is therefore more impressive than the actual combat improvement.

Seraph’s Judgement

Epic | Light | 1 in 333,333

Seraph’s Judgement uses Seraph Strike and Divine Verdict. It is perfectly capable of handling difficult fights and benefits from Light-related support.

Despite its impressive rarity, its basic combat performance remains similar to much easier Light Auras. Keep the first copy for collection and progression, while duplicate copies can eventually be sold for EXP.

Spring Bloomer

Epic | Earth | 1 in 400,000

Spring Bloomer has Petal Lash and Full Bloom Burst. Its Earth support gives it a useful role in Earth-based builds.

However, Geoshade and Stonebloom can already provide similar combat results. Spring Bloomer is better treated as a rare collectible or alternate Earth Aura than a required combat upgrade.

Cloudstride Veil

Epic | Basic | 1 in 500,000

Cloudstride Veil comes with Mist Step Strike and Veil of Storms. This gives it enough damage to handle both regular enemies and bosses.

Its Basic typing limits its access to specialized elemental support. Cupid and Shogun’s Wrath also provide similar combat multipliers at considerably better odds.

Hell King’s Decree

Epic | Demon | 1 in 666,666

Hell King’s Decree uses King’s Claw and Infernal Decree, providing a complete Demon moveset.

Its extremely low roll chance does not translate into higher combat damage. Fallen and Infernal Surge already offer the same basic Normal and Critical setup. Keep it for collection and prestige rather than chasing it as a major combat upgrade.

Abyssfury

Epic | Water | 1 in 750,000

Abyssfury has Abyss Claw and Fury of the Deep. Water support makes it useful for specialized builds, and its Critical is strong enough for boss fights.

Still, Aqua and Tidal Crest provide the same basic combat profile with much better accessibility. Its rarity and EXP value are bigger advantages than its actual combat power.

Blazewarden

Epic | Fire | 1 in 950,000

Blazewarden comes with Warden’s Brand and Blazing Bulwark. It is fully capable of handling endgame combat and benefits from Fire support.

However, Flame can provide a similar combat setup at a fraction of the odds. Blazewarden is therefore much more valuable as a rare collection piece than as a direct combat upgrade.

Titan’s Awakening

Legendary | Earth | 1 in 1,000,000

Titan’s Awakening has Titan Smash and Colossus Awakens, giving it a complete Earth combat kit.

Despite being one of the rarest options on this list, its raw combat numbers do not surpass Geoshade. It is worth keeping because of its rarity, collection value, and high EXP sale value, but it should not be considered automatically better for combat.

C Tier Auras

C Tier mostly consists of early-game Auras with Normal Skills but no Critical Skill. They are useful while you are starting out, but should eventually be replaced by an Aura with a complete moveset.

Brushed

Common | Basic | 1 in 64

Brushed has Polished Strike, which deals 0.33× damage with perfect accuracy. It is a noticeable improvement over Punch-only Auras.

However, it lacks a Critical Skill, so its damage ceiling is much lower than Flame, Geoshade, Ascend, and other complete Auras.

Nunchucks

Common | Basic | 1 in 128

Nunchucks uses Whirl Strike for consistent Normal damage. It is useful during the early game but has no Critical Skill.

Once you obtain an Uncommon Aura with a complete moveset, there is little reason to keep using it. Some copies should still be saved for crafting.

Spartan

Common | Basic | 1 in 300

Spartan’s Shield Bash provides reliable 0.33× Normal damage. Unfortunately, it has no Critical Skill.

It works well enough against early enemies but struggles when bosses require stronger burst damage. Keep copies needed for crafting before selling extras.

Dreamer

Common | Basic | 1 in 450

Dreamer has Dream Jab, giving it reliable Normal damage but no Critical.

Its rarity does not translate into stronger combat numbers compared with easier Common Auras. Treat it as a temporary Aura until you find a complete combat kit.

Crystalized

Common | Basic | 1 in 500

Crystalized uses Shard Cut as its Normal Skill. It is accurate and useful during early Story content, but its lack of a Critical Skill gives it a low long-term ceiling.

Replace it when Flame, Geoshade, Ascend, or another complete Aura becomes available.

Flow

Common | Water | 1 in 500

Flow has Ripple Strike and can benefit from Water-related support. This makes it slightly more useful than some generic Basic Auras during the early game.

However, once you obtain Aqua, Flow becomes largely unnecessary as a combat Aura.

Spark

Common | Fire | 1 in 500

Spark uses Static Jolt and benefits from Fire-related support. It is a decent early-game option if you have not obtained Flame yet.

Flame is a much more useful Fire Aura because it adds a 1× Critical, so Spark should be replaced once Flame becomes available.

Sprout

Common | Earth | 1 in 500

Sprout’s Vine Whip provides reliable early damage and its Earth typing gives it access to Earth support.

Geoshade is the much better long-term option because it adds a Critical Skill. Sprout is therefore mainly an early-game placeholder.

Lucky 7

Common | Basic | 1 in 777

Lucky 7 has Jackpot Jab, which provides standard 0.33× Normal damage.

Despite its name, Lucky 7 does not provide a special Luck bonus through its combat kit. Its performance remains below Auras with Critical Skills.

Retro

Common | Basic | 1 in 812

Retro has Pixel Punch as its Normal Skill. It can benefit from Cyber and some Basic-related support, but it still lacks a Critical.

Use it temporarily and save any copies required for crafting before selling the rest.

Spirited

Common | Basic | 1 in 999

Spirited uses Spirit Palm, providing reliable Normal damage but no Critical Skill.

It is one of the more difficult Normal-only Common Auras to obtain without offering better damage. Any Uncommon Aura with a complete kit is a major upgrade.

D Tier Auras

D Tier contains the weakest starter Auras. These options only have the basic Punch attack and should generally be replaced as soon as you obtain an Aura with a proper Normal Skill.

Common Aura

Common | Basic | 1 in 2

Common Aura only has Punch, which deals 0.17× damage. This is considerably weaker than even the first proper Normal Skills.

There is no elemental support or Critical Skill to make up for the low damage. Keep one for collection purposes and sell the extras when you need EXP.

Uncommon Aura

Common | Basic | 1 in 4

Despite its name, Uncommon Aura is actually Common rarity in the game and only has the basic Punch attack.

The small increase in EXP value does not make it useful for combat. Replace it immediately when a proper combat Aura becomes available.

Rare Aura

Common | Basic | 1 in 8

Rare Aura is another misleadingly named Common Aura with no Normal or Critical Skill.

It is weaker than Brushed and every complete combat Aura. Keep copies needed for crafting, then sell the extras.

Epic Aura

Common | Basic | 1 in 16

Epic Aura is also Common rarity despite its name. It only uses the 0.17× Punch attack.

There is no real reason to equip it once you have access to a Normal Skill. However, copies can still be useful for crafting recipes.

Legendary Aura

Common | Basic | 1 in 32

Legendary Aura follows the same pattern. Despite the impressive name, it is Common rarity and only has Punch.

Its higher EXP value makes duplicate copies useful for leveling, while some should be saved for crafting requirements. As a combat Aura, however, it should be replaced quickly.

Which Aura Should You Use in Unscathed?

If you are focused purely on combat, the most important thing to look for is a complete Normal and Critical Skill combination. This is why several Uncommon Auras rank above extremely rare Epic and Legendary options.

For early progression, Flame, Geoshade, Ascend, Soulbound, and Fallen are some of the best choices to aim for. They provide a 0.33× Normal Skill and a 1× Critical without requiring extremely low roll odds.

Aqua is another excellent choice once you progress far enough to obtain it. Its Water support makes it particularly useful for players who want to build around that element.

The main thing to remember is that a rarer Aura is not automatically stronger. If two Auras have the same combat multipliers and accuracy, the easier one to obtain can actually be the better practical choice.

The best Auras in Unscathed are not necessarily the ones with the highest rarity. For combat, the most important factor is whether the Aura gives you a complete moveset with both a reliable Normal Skill and a powerful Critical Skill.

This is why Flame, Geoshade, Ascend, Soulbound, Fallen, and Aqua perform so well despite being considerably easier to obtain than many Epic or Legendary Auras.

Rare Auras are still worth keeping for collection purposes, crafting, and EXP, but you should not assume that a one-in-a-million Aura will automatically outperform a much easier option. If your goal is simply to defeat enemies and bosses efficiently, prioritize the Aura with the best combination of combat skills, elemental support, and realistic accessibility.
