Haunt Eggs Grow a Chicken Fighter, How to Get Guide!

Haunt Eggs are one of the more interesting eggs to farm in Grow a Chicken Fighter, especially if you are trying to collect the strongest haunted chickens. The problem is that you cannot simply start farming Haunt Eggs with a fresh Classic Rooster. You need to work through several chickens first, with each one helping you reach the next egg type. This guide explains the fastest progression from the Classic Rooster to a reliable Haunt Egg farmer. It also covers the best hatch you can get from Haunt Eggs and the complete Haunt Egg index.

How to Get Haunt Eggs

The easiest way to start farming Haunt Eggs is to follow the chicken progression below. Each chicken has a specific egg it can produce, so you need to hatch the right units before reaching the Haunt Egg stage.

Step 1: Start With the Classic Rooster

Your starting point is the Classic Rooster. Use it to farm Nest Eggs, which are needed to begin the progression. Keep opening Nest Eggs until you hatch the Cosmo Brat.

  • Cosmo Brat hatch chance: 10%
  • Egg dropped: Scratch Egg
  • Scratch Egg drop chance: 100%

Once Cosmo Brat is obtained, you can move to the next stage.

Step 2: Hatch the Slugger Hen

Use the Cosmo Brat to AFK farm Scratch Eggs. Since Cosmo Brat has a 100% chance to drop Scratch Eggs, you can keep farming without worrying about a chance-based egg drop. Continue opening Scratch Eggs until you get the Slugger Hen.

  • Slugger Hen hatch chance: 8%
  • Egg dropped: Arena Egg
  • Arena Egg drop chance: 75%

The Slugger Hen is an important step because Arena Eggs are required to reach the chickens that can eventually produce Haunt Eggs.

Step 3: Get Enforcer Rooster or Strike Hen

After obtaining Slugger Hen, continue AFK farming Arena Eggs. The goal here is to hatch either the Enforcer Rooster or Strike Hen. Both chickens have the same hatch chance:

  • Enforcer Rooster hatch chance: 11%
  • Strike Hen hatch chance: 11%
  • Arena Egg drop chance: 100%

You only need one of these two chickens to continue. Once you get either one, you can farm Arena Eggs much more efficiently because both have a guaranteed Arena Egg drop.

Step 4: Hatch the Creepy Clown

With Enforcer Rooster or Strike Hen, continue farming Arena Eggs until you hatch the Creepy Clown.

  • Creepy Clown hatch chance: 11%
  • Haunt Egg drop chance: 75%
  • Arena Egg drop chance: 25%

Creepy Clown is the first chicken in this progression that can produce Haunt Eggs. However, its 75% Haunt Egg drop rate means you will still occasionally receive Arena Eggs instead.

Step 5: Get the Zombie Chick

The final step is to obtain the Zombie Chick from Haunt Eggs. Zombie Chick has a 23% hatch chance and can drop Haunt Eggs with a 100% chance. Once you have it, the farming process becomes much easier because every egg it produces is a Haunt Egg. Your progression is now complete.

Best Haunt Egg Hatch

The main reason to farm Haunt Eggs is the chance to obtain the Reaper Rooster. This chicken has a Cosmic rarity and an extremely low hatch chance of less than 1%. Despite the low odds, Reaper Rooster is one of the most valuable chickens in the Haunt Egg pool. It can perform well in both the PvP Tower and Pits, making it a strong choice if you are looking for a main chicken for combat. Reaper Rooster also drops Haunt Eggs at a 100% rate, allowing you to continue farming the same egg after obtaining it.

If you have not managed to get Reaper Rooster yet, there is another strong option worth looking for.

Doll Hen

Doll Hen has a 2% hatch chance and is classified as Divine rarity. While it is much easier to obtain than Reaper Rooster, it can still perform well in the Pits and PvP.

Doll Hen also has a 100% Haunt Egg drop rate, so it can be useful for continuing your farming after you hatch it.

Haunt Egg Index

The Haunt Egg contains several chickens ranging from Common to Cosmic rarity. Here is the complete index and the current hatch chances.

Zombie Chick

  • Rarity: Common
  • Hatch chance: 23%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Zombie Chick is the most common hatch in the Haunt Egg pool and is particularly useful for farming because it always produces another Haunt Egg.

Bone Rooster

  • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Hatch chance: 17%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Bone Rooster is another relatively common Haunt Egg hatch. Its guaranteed Haunt Egg drop makes it useful for maintaining your egg supply.

Jack Rooster

  • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Hatch chance: 17%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Jack Rooster has the same hatch rate and egg production rate as Bone Rooster. It is mainly useful as another consistent Haunt Egg producer.

Wrapped Hen

  • Rarity: Rare
  • Hatch chance: 13%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Wrapped Hen is less common than the Uncommon chickens but still guarantees a Haunt Egg whenever it produces an egg.

Creepy Clown

  • Rarity: Rare
  • Hatch chance: 11%
  • Arena Egg drop: 25%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 75%

Creepy Clown is important because it is part of the progression needed to reach the more reliable Haunt Egg farming stage.

Vampire Rooster

  • Rarity: Epic
  • Hatch chance: 8%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Vampire Rooster is an Epic hatch with a lower chance of appearing, but its guaranteed Haunt Egg production keeps the farming chain going.

Shadow Rooster

  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Hatch chance: 5%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Shadow Rooster is a Legendary chicken and has a 5% hatch chance. It also produces Haunt Eggs with a guaranteed drop rate.

Ghost Hen

  • Rarity: Mythic
  • Hatch chance: 3%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Ghost Hen is a Mythic hatch with only a 3% chance of appearing. Once obtained, however, it can consistently produce Haunt Eggs.

Doll Hen

  • Rarity: Divine
  • Hatch chance: 2%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Doll Hen is one of the rarest standard hatches in the egg pool. Its 2% chance makes it difficult to obtain, but it remains a useful combat option and a reliable Haunt Egg producer.

Reaper Rooster

  • Rarity: Cosmic
  • Hatch chance: <1%
  • Haunt Egg drop: 100%

Reaper Rooster is the rarest and most desirable hatch from the Haunt Egg. With a Cosmic rarity and a hatch chance below 1%, getting one requires plenty of farming and luck.

Getting Haunt Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter is mainly about following the correct progression. You start with the Classic Rooster, move through Cosmo Brat and Slugger Hen, then work toward Enforcer Rooster or Strike Hen before finally reaching Creepy Clown. Once you obtain Zombie Chick, the process becomes much easier because it guarantees a Haunt Egg drop. From there, you can keep farming the egg while hunting for the Doll Hen or the extremely rare Reaper Rooster. Reaper Rooster has less than a 1% hatch chance, so expect to spend plenty of time farming if you want to add this Cosmic chicken to your collection.
