In Ryujin, clans are more than just a name—they define your stats, abilities, and progression speed. Choosing the right clan can make your character much stronger, while the wrong one can slow down your growth.

Understanding which clans are worth rerolling for is key if you want to maximize your power in the game. This guide covers all clans, their effects, and the best options for players of every level. Also check out our Ryujin Codes for more rewards!

What Are Clans in Ryujin?

Clans in Ryujin give your character passive bonuses, unique abilities, and access to special moves. They also change how your in-game name appears, combining your first name with your clan name. When you first start, your character is randomly assigned a clan. The odds of receiving each rarity are:

Mythic – 1%
Legendary – 5%
Rare – 14%
Uncommon – 20%
Common – 60%

The higher the rarity, the stronger the bonuses. To see your clan, visit the Ryujin Fighter Association and buy the Stats Checker for ₩2,500. This will display your clan name and its effects. Alternatively, the Infinite Stats Checker gamepass lets you check your clan and stats anytime.

How to Reroll Your Clan

If you want a better clan, you can reroll by buying a Clan Reroll from the in-game shop for 25 Ryujin Coins. Coins are earned through codes, defeating bosses, completing content, or increasing your Potential. Each reroll gives you a new random clan.

S Tier: Park, Kure, Mikazuchi, Seong, Jang
A Tier: Sta, Haruo, Choi, Wongsawat
B Tier: Morow, Sano, Hammer, Biscuit, Takeru, Hanayama, Akezawa
C Tier: Zenin, Doyle, Alai, Lee, Gizenga, Toba, Hanada, Reinhold
D Tier: Che, Soo, Kouhei, Atsushi, Sekibayashi, Akatsuka, Yamashita, Tatsumi

Generally, Mythic and Legendary clans give the strongest bonuses and should be the main goal when rerolling. Rare, Uncommon, and Common clans are weaker and only useful early in progression or if you’re out of Ryujin Coins.

S Tier contains the strongest clans in Ryujin. These clans provide powerful stat bonuses, unique modes, special fighting styles, and effects that can significantly improve your performance in combat.

Park

Rarity: Mythic — 1% chance

Park is one of the strongest Mythic clans thanks to its ability to copy enemy skills and gain additional damage from them.

Can copy up to 2 skills.
Copied skills remain for 60 seconds before disappearing.
Copied skills deal increased damage.
Using a copied skill grants 5% additional damage for 10 seconds.
Lean Cap increases by 10.
Battle Sense scaling increases by 50%.
Fighting Reflexes charge 25% faster.
Mode Bar charges 20% faster.
Stat Gain increases by 20%.
Battle Sense Gain increases by 25%.
Unlocks Ultra Instinct Mode.

Kure

Rarity: Mythic — 1% chance

Kure is a strong option for players who want a mixture of combat sustain and improved physical scaling. Its unique abilities also unlock the Kure’s Traditions Fighting Style and Removal Mode.

Restore 0.5% Hunger when hitting an enemy.
Eating meaty food restores 25% Hunger.
Stat Gain increases by 20%.

Mikazuchi

Rarity: Mythic — 1% chance

Yamazaki

Evolved from: Park

The evolved Park version of Yamazaki combines powerful durability bonuses with improved Karate performance.

Karate Fighting Style deals 15% more damage.
Your bones require 2 additional Breaking Counts before breaking.
Stat Gain increases by 20%.
Durability Scaling increases by 15%.
Muscle Scaling increases by 10%.

A Tier clans are still highly competitive and can perform extremely well. They may not offer the same overall value as the strongest S Tier choices, but their unique fighting style bonuses and abilities make them excellent alternatives.

Makunouchi

Evolved from: Alai

Makunouchi is a strong choice for Boxing-focused builds. Its improved jabs and access to Dempsey Roll give it a clear identity in close-range combat.

Boxing Fighting Style damage increases by 15%.
Jabs become Triple Jabs.
Unlocks Dempsey Roll.

Seong

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Seong focuses on skill copying and faster combat resource generation. Its blindness drawback is also limited when using its copying ability.

Automatically copies a skill at the cost of eyesight.
Copied skills last for 60 seconds.
Fighting Reflex charges 15% faster.
Evasive charges 20% faster.
Stat Gain increases by 10%.
Unlocks Infinity Tech Mode.
Blindness from copying skills is capped at 50%.

Jang

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Jang provides a strong emergency survival effect. When your HP reaches a critical level, you can recover health while stunning enemies around you.

At 10% HP, restores another 30% HP.
Releases a roar that stuns nearby enemies for 4 seconds.
Stamina Scaling increases by 10%.

Choi

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Choi is particularly useful for players involved with Districts and Gang activities. Its bonuses become more valuable once your Potential reaches a high level.

Fist damage is reduced by 15% after losing an arm.
Kicking attacks are 15% faster.
Stat Gain increases by 15%.
Captures Districts twice as fast.
At above SSS+ Potential, Gang Members receive 25% more Money Gain from Districts.
Gang Members within 250 studs receive a 10% damage boost.
Nearby Gang Members also gain 5% Running Speed.
Nearby bonuses can stack up to 3 times.

Haruo

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Haruo is designed around Fat-based builds and provides a much larger Fat capacity alongside faster Fat Gain.

Max Fat increases by 100.
Fat Gain increases by 25%.
Stat Gain increases by 10%.

Sta

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Sta improves Subskill performance while also providing several useful combat speed bonuses.

Striking Speed increases by 5%.

Wongsawat

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Wongsawat is a strong choice for players who use Boxing or Muay Thai. It also provides access to skills from both fighting styles.

Boxing damage increases by 7.5%.
Muay Thai damage increases by 7.5%.
Can use all Boxing and Muay Thai skills.
Requires at least one of the two fighting styles.

Hatsumi

Rarity: Legendary — 5% chance

Hatsumi is built around counters and Aikido. Players who have strong timing and defensive skills can get considerable value from this clan.

Aikido Heavy Attacks become Triple Strikes.
