All Anomaly Cafe Playable Characters and How to Use Them
Anomaly Cafe has several playable characters, and each one is designed around a different role. Some characters are better at cooking, while others are useful for serving customers, earning more money, or supporting the team.
Choosing the right character can make your cafe shift much easier, especially when you start playing with other people. At the moment, players start with King for free and can unlock other characters using Bells.
1. King
King is the default character that every new player starts with. He belongs to the Starter Class and is a good choice if you are still learning how the cafe works.
King starts each shift with extra money and has a small cooking speed bonus. Because he does not require any currency, he is also a good character for players who don’t want to spend Bells right away.
King’s information:
- Class: Starter Class
- Species: Tiger
- Age: 13
- Pronouns: He/Him
- Cost: Free
- Starting Sanity: 100
- Starting Money: $50
- Cooking Speed: 5% faster
- Active Skill: None
- Passive Skill: None
How to Use King
King is best used as an all-around character. His 5% cooking speed makes him useful in the kitchen, but he doesn’t have a special ability that forces you into a particular playstyle.
If you’re a beginner, simply use King to learn the basics of cooking, checking customers, and serving orders. Once you have enough Bells, you can move to a character with stronger bonuses.
2. Mr. Wolfgang

Mr. Wolfgang is a Coffee Class character focused mainly on cooking speed and earning more money from perfect orders. He starts with more Sanity than King and begins with coffee. His main ability lets him drink coffee to temporarily increase his cooking speed.
Mr. Wolfgang’s information:
- Class: Coffee Class
- Species: Wolf
- Age: 32
- Pronouns: He/Him
- Cost: 1,500 Bells
- Starting Sanity: 150
- Starts with Coffee
- Counter Tips: +5%
- Perfect Order money bonus: Up to 15%
- Active Skill: Coffee
- Cooking Speed after using Coffee: 15% faster for 60 seconds
How to Use Mr. Wolfgang
Wolfgang works well when you want to spend most of your time cooking. His coffee ability gives him a temporary cooking speed boost, which can help when the cafe becomes busy.
His Perfect Order Streak is also useful for players who can consistently make orders correctly. Every perfect personal order increases his money bonus by 5%, up to 15%.
Try to avoid making mistakes when building the streak. If you can maintain it, Wolfgang can become a strong choice for earning extra money.
One thing to remember is that some coffee sources may currently behave differently from the intended ability. The kitchen coffee maker is specifically tied to his cooking-speed bonus, while other coffee sources may not activate it correctly.
3. Jim-Jam

Jim-Jam is part of the Utility Class and is built around serving customers quickly. This character is particularly useful if you enjoy playing as the waiter.
Jim-Jam starts with high Sanity and gets movement and serving-related bonuses.
Jim-Jam’s information:
- Class: Utility Class
- Species: Monkey
- Age: 19
- Pronouns: They/Them
- Cost: 500 Bells
- Starting Sanity: 200
- Starts with Banana Topping
- Banana orders earn 10% more
- Movement Speed: 5% faster
- Personally served orders: 10% more money
- Active Skill: None
- Passive Skill: None
How to Use Jim-Jam
Jim-Jam is a good option if you want to focus on serving rather than cooking.
The movement bonus helps you travel between the kitchen and customer tables faster. The extra money from personally served orders also gives you another reason to focus on completing customer orders yourself.
When playing Jim-Jam, try to stay active around the cafe. Pick up completed meals, add the required toppings, and deliver them as quickly as possible.
The Banana bonus can also give you additional money when the correct orders appear.
4. Pyro

Pyro is part of the Cooking Class and is one of the cheaper characters to unlock with Bells. She is designed for players who want to focus heavily on cooking.
Her biggest advantage is her cooking speed bonus. She also starts with a Metal Pan that has three uses.
Pyro’s information:
- Class: Cooking Class
- Species: Bunny
- Age: 15
- Pronouns: She/They
- Cost: 110 Bells
- Starting Sanity: 100
- Cooking Speed: 10% faster
- Starts with a Metal Pan
- Metal Pan Uses: 3
- Active Skill: None
- Passive Skill: None
How to Use Pyro
Pyro is one of the easiest choices if your main responsibility is cooking.
Her 10% cooking speed bonus is higher than King’s, so she can prepare food more quickly. The Metal Pan also gives you an extra resource to work with during your shift.
If you are playing with friends, Pyro can focus on preparing food while another player handles checking customers and serving orders.
This setup helps reduce the amount of time the team spends waiting for meals.
5. Lemon
Lemon is the only currently available character that requires Robux instead of Bells. She belongs to the Lucky Class and has several bonuses that make her useful for both personal income and team support.
Lemon’s information:
- Class: Lucky Class
- Species: Ghost Ant
- Age: 21
- Pronouns: She/Her
- Cost: 180 Robux
- Starting Sanity: 150
- Movement Speed: 10% faster
- Counter Tips: +20%
- Active Skill: Peace Offering
- Passive Effect: Good Luck or Bad Luck
The Robux price can vary depending on the player’s location because Roblox may use regional pricing.
How to Use Lemon
Lemon is designed to be more flexible than the other characters. Her 10% movement speed makes it easier to move around the cafe, while her 20% counter-tip bonus can help increase earnings.
Her most interesting feature is her luck system.
At the beginning of every shift, Lemon has a 50% chance to receive Good Luck or Bad Luck.
Good Luck
Good Luck makes customers more patient and generous during the shift. It also increases the chance of receiving better tip bonuses.
This is the safer outcome because it makes customer management easier.
Bad Luck
Bad Luck makes customers less patient and causes them to place more difficult orders.
However, there is a major benefit. Orders during a Bad Luck shift receive a 15% money bonus.
This means Bad Luck makes the shift harder, but it can also give you more money if your team can handle the extra difficulty.
Lemon’s Peace Offering
Lemon also has an active ability called Peace Offering.
She can create a Cookie that can either be given to another player or consumed herself.
The Cookie restores 10+ Sanity and has a 20-second cooldown.
This makes Lemon useful as a support character, especially when playing with a group.
Only one Good Luck or Bad Luck roll affects the shift, even if multiple players are using Lemon.
Which Anomaly Cafe Character Should You Use?
The best character depends on the role you want to play.
For beginners, King is perfectly fine because he is free and provides a small cooking bonus. You can use him to learn the game before spending your Bells.
If you want to focus on cooking, Pyro is a strong cheap option because of her 10% cooking speed bonus. Mr. Wolfgang is another good choice if you want additional money bonuses and enjoy maintaining perfect orders.
For serving customers, Jim-Jam is a better fit because of his movement speed and extra money from personally served orders.
If you want a more flexible character with team support and don’t mind spending Robux, Lemon offers movement speed, better tips, and her unique luck mechanics.
Characters Confirmed for Future Updates
Anomaly Cafe also has additional characters that have been confirmed but are not currently available.
The upcoming characters include:
- Aza
- Mellow
- Chipper
- Bingo
These characters are expected to arrive in future updates, so their classes, abilities, prices, and exact gameplay roles may be revealed later.
Every playable character in Anomaly Cafe has a different purpose, so you don’t necessarily need to use the most expensive option. King is enough for learning the game, while Pyro and Wolfgang are better choices for players who enjoy cooking. Jim-Jam works well for serving, and Lemon provides a more flexible playstyle with her luck and support abilities.
If you’re playing with friends, the best setup is usually to give each player a different responsibility. A Pyro or Wolfgang can focus on cooking, Jim-Jam can handle deliveries, and another player can focus on checking for anomalies. This makes the cafe easier to manage and lets each character’s bonuses matter more.
A role-based team works best when each character’s bonuses match the task, so assigning King, Wolfgang, Jim-Jam, Pyro, and Lemon to specific cafe duties can turn the character list into a practical multiplayer setup.
