Pets are an important part of Iron Soul Dungeon. They can help improve your overall progression, and duplicate copies of the same pet can be used to make them stronger. However, getting pets is not always easy. Some pets come from rare eggs with low drop rates, while others can only be obtained from specific packs or shops. This guide covers all currently available pets, how to get Pet Eggs, how to hatch them, and how to upgrade your pets.

All Pets in Iron Soul Dungeon

Ultimate Iron Soul Dungeon Pets Guide, How to Hatch & Get All!

There are currently six pets available in Iron Soul Dungeon. Each one has a different method of acquisition, so you cannot get every pet from Pet Eggs.

Icy Dragonet

The Icy Dragonet can be obtained by hatching an Ice Dragon Egg. This egg has a Legendary rarity, which means getting one can take some time.

Ice Dragon Eggs can be found through Expeditions and the Abandoned Courtyard. Since the drop chance is quite low, you may need to repeat these activities several times before getting the egg you want.

Divine Dragonet

The Divine Dragonet is obtained in a similar way to the Icy Dragonet. You need to find and hatch a Divine Dragon Egg.

Divine Dragon Eggs can be obtained from Expeditions and the Abandoned Courtyard. The chance of getting one is low, so you should expect to run these activities multiple times.

Phoenix Kitsune

Phoenix Kitsune has a different acquisition method compared to the other pets. It is only available through the Flame Spirit Pack.

The Flame Spirit Pack costs 1,299 and can be purchased up to 9 times. Each purchase gives you another chance to obtain Phoenix Kitsune, and duplicate copies can be used to make the pet stronger through the upgrade system.

Faith Guardian

The method for obtaining Faith Guardian is currently TBC (To Be Confirmed).

There is not enough confirmed information about how to obtain this pet yet. Once the acquisition method is confirmed, this section can be updated with the correct details.

Moon Spirit

The Moon Spirit can be purchased from the Glory Store through the Wheel of Glory.

Keep in mind that Moon Spirit is a limited-time pet. Its availability is not permanent, so players should check the Glory Store while the pet is available.

Storm Eagle

Storm Eagle can be obtained by hatching a Storm Eagle Egg.

The egg has a Legendary rarity, so finding one can be difficult. You will need to keep searching for Storm Eagle Eggs before you can hatch this pet.

How to Get Pet Eggs

Ultimate Iron Soul Dungeon Pets Guide, How to Hatch & Get All!

Pet Eggs are one of the main ways to obtain certain pets in Iron Soul Dungeon. The main problem is that their drop rate is very low. There are two main ways to search for Pet Eggs:

  • Expeditions
  • Abandoned Courtyard

Neither activity guarantees a Pet Egg every time you complete it. Because of this, you may need to repeat them several times before getting one.

Expeditions

Expeditions allow you to send unused pets on short missions. During an Expedition, your pet can collect Gold and has a small chance of returning with a Pet Egg. There is one important limitation: a pet that is currently on an Expedition cannot be used for other activities until it returns.

For this reason, it is better to send pets that you are not currently using. This allows you to continue playing without losing access to your main pets. Running Expeditions regularly is a useful way to collect extra Gold while also giving yourself more chances to find Pet Eggs.

Abandoned Courtyard

The Abandoned Courtyard is useful for more than just searching for Pet Eggs. It is also one of the main places to collect materials needed to upgrade your pets. There are four difficulty levels:

  • Trial [Easy]
  • Challenge [Normal]
  • Penitent [Hard]
  • Torment [Expert]

You need at least 1 Cave Ticket to enter the Abandoned Courtyard. The area can also be explored with other players, with up to 5 players in a group.

Each difficulty has its own set of rewards.

Trial [Easy]

Possible rewards include:

  • Dragon Claw
  • Whole Scale
  • Broken Scale

Challenge [Normal]

Possible rewards include:

  • Dragon Claw
  • Dragon Horn
  • Whole Scale

Penitent [Hard]

Possible rewards include:

  • Dragon Horn
  • Dragon Tear
  • Dragon Claw

Torment [Expert]

Possible rewards include:

  • Dragon Tear
  • Dragon Horn

Higher difficulties provide better materials, but you should make sure your character and team are strong enough before attempting them.

How to Hatch Pet Eggs

After obtaining a Pet Egg, you need to visit Ali to start the hatching process. This NPC provides a special menu for handling the eggs in your inventory. Follow these steps:

  1. Find Ali.
  2. Select Egg Hatching.
  3. Choose the Pet Egg you want to hatch.
  4. Start the hatching process.
  5. Wait for the timer to finish.
  6. Collect your pet once the timer ends.

Hatching is not instant, so you will need to wait until the timer runs out before you can claim the pet.

How to Upgrade Pets

Iron Soul Dungeon gives you several ways to improve your pets. The two main systems are Enhancement and Ascension.

To upgrade a pet, talk to Ali and select Pet Enhance and Ascend. From there, choose the pet you want to improve.

Both systems make your pet stronger, but they work in different ways.

Pet Enhancement

Enhancement increases the overall strength of your pet using materials collected from the Abandoned Courtyard and Gold.

Unlike Armor enhancement, pet Enhancement cannot fail. As long as you have enough Gold and the required materials, the upgrade will succeed.

Because the required materials come from the Abandoned Courtyard, regularly playing this area is important if you want to keep improving your pets.

Pet Ascension

Ascension requires you to use another copy of the same pet as an upgrade material. For example, if you want to Ascend an Icy Dragonet, you need another copy of the Icy Dragonet. After completing the Ascension, the pet’s star level increases.

This makes duplicate pets useful instead of simply being extra copies. If you obtain multiple copies of a pet, you can use them to increase its star level and improve its overall power.

Pets in Iron Soul Dungeon can be difficult to obtain because some Pet Eggs have extremely low drop rates. Expeditions and the Abandoned Courtyard are two important activities to focus on if you want to collect eggs while also gathering materials for upgrades.

Once you obtain a pet, visit Ali to hatch eggs, enhance your pets, or increase their star levels through Ascension. If you happen to get duplicate copies of the same pet, keep them because they can be used for Ascension.

Understanding how each pet is obtained and how the upgrade systems work will make it easier to decide which pets are worth investing your resources into.
