The Yokozuna is one of the special pieces of equipment you can craft in Iron Soul Dungeon. Unlike regular equipment, getting Yokozuna requires a specific recipe from the Glory Wheel and a large amount of Ore.

The crafting process also uses RNG, so getting the item is not guaranteed even when you use the maximum number of materials. If you want to craft Yokozuna while saving as much Mythical Ore as possible, this guide explains the required materials, crafting chance, and the best way to approach the Forge.

How to Get the Yokozuna Recipe

Before you can craft Yokozuna, you first need to obtain its recipe from the Wheel of Glory. This requires you to participate in the Glory Wheel system and obtain the necessary Glory Core.

The Wheel of Glory uses RNG, so getting the recipe can take multiple spins. Once you have unlocked the Yokozuna recipe, you can head to the Forge and select it from the available crafting options.

Having the recipe does not mean that every crafting attempt will successfully produce Yokozuna. The Forge still has its own success chance.

How Many Ore Does Yokozuna Need?

Yokozuna can use up to 16 Ore for its highest crafting chance. With all 16 slots filled, the crafting chance is around 74%.

You can use fewer than 16 Ore, but the success chance will decrease. Because of this, using the full amount gives you the best chance per attempt.

However, you don’t need to fill all 16 slots with Mythical Ore.

Best Ore Combination for Mythical Yokozuna

Yokozuna Iron Soul Dungeon Guide: How to Craft!

If your goal is to obtain a Mythical Yokozuna while saving Mythical Ore, you can mix different rarities. One recommended combination is:

  • 9 Mythical Ore
  • 7 Legendary Ore
  • 16 Ore in total

The reason for using this combination is simple: Mythical Ore remains the majority of the materials. This allows you to aim for the Mythical version while using fewer Mythical materials than if you filled all 16 slots with them.

You can also experiment with other combinations, but keeping Mythical Ore as the dominant rarity is important if you want the resulting equipment to be Mythical.

Can You Use Lower-Rarity Ore?

Yes. You are not limited to Mythical and Legendary Ore when crafting Yokozuna. Depending on your available materials, you can also use lower-rarity Ore such as:

  • Epic Ore
  • Rare Ore
  • Other lower-level Ore

The important thing is that your Mythical Ore should make up the majority of the materials if you’re targeting a Mythical Yokozuna. This can be useful for players who have plenty of lower-rarity Ore but don’t want to waste their entire Mythical Ore collection on one crafting attempt.

Does Ore Level Affect Yokozuna?

The level of the Ore does not determine whether your Yokozuna will have higher base damage.

The important factor when choosing Ore for this crafting method is its rarity, rather than simply its level. Therefore, you don’t need to spend your highest-level materials just because you want to craft Yokozuna.

Your main concern should be maintaining the desired rarity balance while using enough Ore to get a reasonable crafting chance.

Can You Craft Hell Yokozuna?

Hell Ore cannot be used to create a Hell version of Yokozuna.

This means you should not waste valuable Hell Ore while experimenting with the Yokozuna recipe. The same restriction applies to the other Glory Wheel equipment, including the Glory Wheel Staff and the Stardust armor pieces. Instead, save your Hell Ore for equipment and recipes that actually support it.

Crafting Yokozuna in Iron Soul Dungeon requires both the right recipe and plenty of Ore. The safest way to approach it is to use enough materials to maintain a good crafting chance without unnecessarily spending all of your Mythical Ore.

Using 9 Mythical Ore and 7 Legendary Ore is a useful resource-saving setup because Mythical remains the majority while allowing you to avoid using 16 Mythical Ore at once. Just remember that the Forge is still RNG-based, so even the maximum 74% chance does not guarantee Yokozuna.

Before you start crafting, farm enough dungeons to build up a healthy Ore supply. That way, a few unlucky attempts won’t completely empty your Mythical materials. Because Yokozuna crafting can fail even at the maximum rate, planning how many attempts your Ore stock can support helps prevent Mythical Ore from running out too quickly.
