How to Get the Sand Glove in Slap Battles Roblox Guide!

The latest Slap Battles update introduces the Sand Glove, a new glove connected to the Four Seasons storyline. After the previous Autumn, Winter, and Spring doors, the final Summer Door is now available. If you want to unlock the Sand Glove, you need to enter the Summer area and complete a special mini-game instead of simply buying the glove with Slaps.

To begin, enter the Four Seasons Dimension and look for the Summer Door. Once you go through the door, you will find a beach-themed area with a volleyball court. There, you can meet Starleen, a familiar character from the Four Seasons content. Talk to Starleen to start the next part of the event and unlock the challenge required for the Sand Glove.

Complete Starleen’s Mini-Game

After speaking with Starleen, you will start a mini-game involving a large star-shaped ball. The objective is straightforward: Starleen throws the ball toward you, and you need to hit it back to her. However, the challenge becomes increasingly difficult because the ball gets faster as you continue. Here are the important details to remember:

  • You need to successfully return the ball 100 times.
  • The ball becomes approximately 1% faster with each serve.
  • Its speed can eventually reach around twice its original speed.
  • The ball cannot touch the ground.
  • If the ball hits the ground, the challenge ends and you have to start again.
  • Completing all 100 returns triggers the final part of the event.

The beginning of the mini-game is relatively easy, but the later serves require much better timing. Try to stay focused on the incoming ball and avoid hitting it too early.

Unlocking the Sand Glove

Once you successfully complete the 100-hit challenge, Starleen will enter the final sequence of the event. A cutscene will play after the challenge, which leads into the Sand Glove reward.

Make sure you complete the entire mini-game successfully because letting the ball fall will reset your progress. This means you will have to return to the beginning and complete all of the serves again.

After unlocking the glove, you can equip the Sand Glove and test its abilities in normal Slap Battles matches.

Sand Glove Abilities

The Sand Glove has several abilities based around sand. Its main attack allows you to create a large sandy fist that can be used to knock other players away.

By holding E for around 1.5 seconds, the glove creates a large sandy fist with a hitbox similar to Bull Slap. You can also release the attack earlier to instantly send the attack forward, dealing approximately 55 knockback.

This gives the Sand Glove some flexibility during combat. You can charge the attack when you have enough time or release it quickly when you need to attack an opponent immediately.

Sand Fist and Sand Hole Ability

The Sand Glove also has another ability that creates a dangerous area on the ground. Pressing R creates a small sand hole measuring around 7 studs.

The hole begins to rumble and spray sand into the air for approximately 2 seconds. Players caught inside can become trapped at the bottom while their character flails around. They are also stunned and unable to use their abilities while affected by the sand.

This ability can be useful for stopping opponents and disrupting their attacks. It can also give you an opportunity to land another slap while your opponent is unable to react or activate an ability.

Four Seasons Trophy

The Sand Glove is not the only reward connected to the Four Seasons storyline. Completing all four seasonal doors is also associated with a special trophy that can reportedly appear in the Hitman’s Office.

Since the Summer Door represents the final part of the Four Seasons sequence, completing the Summer challenge may be important for players who want to finish the entire event and collect its rewards.

After obtaining the Sand Glove, it is worth checking the Hitman’s Office to see whether the Four Seasons trophy has become available.

Tips for Completing the Summer Door

The Starleen mini-game is easily the most difficult part of unlocking the Sand Glove because you need to maintain your streak for 100 successful returns. Making one mistake near the end can force you to repeat the entire challenge.

These tips can make the challenge easier:

  • Focus on the incoming ball instead of distractions around the map.
  • Wait until the ball is in a good position before hitting it.
  • Try to maintain a consistent rhythm throughout the challenge.
  • Prepare for the ball to become faster after every successful return.
  • Pay extra attention during the final part when the ball reaches much higher speeds.
  • If you fail, use the next attempt to learn the timing and movement of the ball.
  • Avoid rushing your hits, especially during the first few serves.

The Sand Glove is one of the main rewards introduced with the Summer update in Slap Battles. To unlock it, enter the Summer Door inside the Four Seasons Dimension, find Starleen at the beach, and complete her ball-return mini-game by successfully hitting the ball back 100 times without letting it touch the ground.

Once unlocked, the Sand Glove offers unique sand-based abilities, including its charged sandy fist and the sand hole that can stun opponents and prevent them from using their abilities. If you have already completed the previous Four Seasons doors, finishing the Summer challenge is also worth doing if you want to complete the event and potentially claim the related trophy.
