Getting into Limbo is one of the main goals introduced with the Limbo update in Roblox Sol’s RNG. Unlike many areas where you can simply walk through a portal or complete a simple requirement, Limbo requires several steps involving quests, items, torches, special biomes, and a puzzle.

The process can feel confusing at first because some of the requirements are based on RNG. You also need to complete the candle puzzle correctly before the entrance will open. This guide explains the full process in a simpler order so you can work toward Limbo without missing an important step.

How to Get into Limbo in Sol’s RNG

1. Complete Stella’s Ancient Scroll Quest

The first major step is to visit Stella’s Cave and talk to Stella. She will give you a quest related to restoring an ancient scroll. This quest needs to be completed before you can properly continue toward the Limbo entrance. The required materials include:

• 30 Ink
• 20 Ash
• 13 Ink Leaks
• 1 Undefined

The material requirements may take some time, especially the Ink Leaks. It is a good idea to prepare your materials before starting the Limbo process so you do not have to stop halfway through. For Undefined, equip a Rune of Nothing and roll until you obtain the required result. Once you have everything, return to Stella and finish the restoration quest. After completing the quest, Stella will provide access to her cauldron and unlock the next part of the Limbo progression.

2. Craft the Glass Candle

After finishing Stella’s quest, you need to obtain the Glass Candle recipe. Use the recipe from your inventory to unlock the Glass Candle inside Stella’s Cauldron. The crafting requirements are:

• 1 Stella’s Candle
• 1 Null

Once both materials are available, craft the Glass Candle. This item is extremely important because it allows you to interact with hidden objects and is required for part of the Limbo puzzle. It is worth keeping the Glass Candle safe because you will need it again later when dealing with the final candle puzzle.

3. Find the Hidden Torch

The next step takes you deeper into Stella’s Cave. Look for the trail of pixie dust and follow it through the cave. You will eventually find a hidden torch. Before interacting with the torch, make sure you have the required Undefined-related item in your inventory or equipped as needed by the current version of the game.

Interact with the torch and wait for the activation effect. When successful, the torch should change appearance, confirming that you have completed this part of the requirement. After activating it, continue following the path deeper into the cave until you reach the hidden room connected to the Limbo entrance.

4. Enter the Hidden Room

The hidden room has been accessible in the cave for a long time, but the Limbo update gives it an actual purpose. Follow the cave path until you reach the area where the hidden entrance is located.

When you interact with the entrance normally, you may receive a message saying that your vision cannot perceive the area. This is where the Glass Candle becomes important. Equip or use the Glass Candle at the hidden entrance. It provides the vision needed to reveal the hidden passage and allows you to continue. After interacting with the newly revealed area, you will gain access to the candle puzzle.

5. Light the First Limbo Candle

The first candle is relatively simple compared to the later requirements. Make sure you have the required Undefined setup and the torch activated. Go to the first candle inside the hidden area and wait for it to activate.

Once it lights up, you have completed the first candle requirement. This part does not require complicated puzzle solving, but you should make sure you have followed the previous steps correctly. If the candle does not activate, double-check your equipment and the torch requirement before moving on.

6. Light the Second Candle Using Null

The second candle requires Null. You need to obtain the Null biome and then take the required Null item to the Grail of Renaissance. Place the Null into the Grail of Renaissance. If everything has been done correctly, the second candle will become active.

This can be one of the more time-consuming parts if you are trying to obtain Null normally. Since Null is RNG-based, you may need to wait for the correct biome to appear. If possible, working in a private server can make the process easier because you have more control over your surroundings and can wait for the required biome without other players interfering.

7. Light the Third Candle During Null

The third candle is another RNG-based requirement and can be more annoying than the previous two. You need to be inside a Null biome while standing near the appropriate candle. The candle has a chance to activate during the biome, meaning entering Null does not necessarily guarantee an immediate result. For a better chance of completing this step:

• Enter a fresh Null biome.
• Stop rolling before the Null biome begins.
• Stay near the candle.
• Avoid unnecessary movement.
• Keep the required equipment ready.
• Wait for the candle to activate.

The important part is that you should not continue rolling while waiting for the candle. The process is designed to require you to stay in the area and wait for the correct condition. Once the third candle lights up, you only have one major puzzle left.

8. Solve the Fourth Candle Puzzle

The fourth candle is arguably the most complicated part of getting into Limbo. There are multiple possible symbol locations throughout the cave. Only certain locations are active in each server, and their order can vary. Your objective is to find the correct symbols and interact with them in the correct sequence.

The Glass Candle must be equipped while checking the symbols. Pay close attention to the color of the symbol:

• White means you found the correct symbol in the sequence.
• Red means you interacted with the wrong symbol and need to restart the sequence.

Because the locations can differ between servers, do not assume that another player’s order will be identical to yours. You need to search the available locations in your own server and determine the correct order.

This is also where having a teleportation aura can help. Some symbols are located in areas that require small parkour sections, so an aura with useful movement or teleportation can make the search easier. Take your time with this part. Interacting with the wrong symbol can force you to repeat the puzzle, so rushing through the locations can actually make the process take longer.

9. Make Sure All Four Candles Are Lit

Once you successfully complete the symbol puzzle, all four Limbo candles should be active. Before attempting to enter Limbo, check your setup carefully. You need the required Renaissance-related equipment equipped for the final activation. If the required item is missing, the final candle or entrance may not activate correctly.

When all four candles are lit, the game will trigger a special cutscene. This is the main confirmation that you have successfully completed the Limbo requirements. After the cutscene finishes, you can proceed through the entrance and enter Limbo.

What You Can Do in Limbo

Limbo is more than just a new location. Once inside, the area changes how your rolling progression works and introduces its own collection of auras and rewards. Some of the things you can expect include:

• New NPCs.
• New items and materials.
• Access to additional potion-related progression.
