Jujutsu Zero Update Guide: New Codes, Curse Calamity Raid and Refinements!
The latest Jujutsu Zero update adds several new systems and changes that are worth checking out. The biggest addition is the Curse Calamity Raid, which introduces new rewards and the materials needed for the new Refinement system. There are also changes to accessory crafting, Guide Book rewards, Shadow Island Tickets, banners, raids, and several locations. If you want to get the most out of the update, here is everything you need to know.
Curse Calamity Raid
The main addition in this update is the new Curse Calamity Raid. This raid gives players a new source of valuable rewards, including some Limitless V2 materials and, more importantly, the materials needed for the new Refinement system.
Because Refinement materials can only be obtained from Curse Calamity, this should be one of your main farming targets if you want to improve your accessories.
The raid is also useful because you can collect multiple types of valuable materials while farming it instead of focusing on only one reward.
How the New Refinement System Works

Refinement is a new system that allows you to make your accessories stronger. For now, the system only works with accessories, so your weapons and other equipment cannot be refined through this feature.
Each Refinement level increases the stats of the accessory by multiplying them by 1.1. The maximum Refinement level is Level 6. The system is chance-based, meaning every attempt has a success or failure chance. These chances change as you reach higher Refinement levels, making the later upgrades more difficult.
The main points to remember are:
- Refinement currently works on accessories.
- Each level multiplies accessory stats by 1.1.
- The maximum level is Refinement 6.
- Refinement attempts have success and failure chances.
- Refinement materials come from Curse Calamity Raid.
If you have a strong accessory that you use regularly, farming this raid can be a good way to improve its overall stats.
New Accessory Crafting Quest
A new Accessory Crafting Quest has also been added. This questline is mainly aimed at newer players who are still learning how accessory crafting works.
It provides a more straightforward introduction to the crafting system and helps players understand how to start making accessories.
If you are new to Jujutsu Zero or have not spent much time crafting accessories, completing this questline is worth doing before investing heavily into the crafting system.
Summer Island Has Been Removed
Summer Island has now been removed from the game. Its related quest NPCs have also been taken out.
This means that any older guide that tells you to visit Summer Island for its previous content may no longer be accurate.
Another location change affects Crate Reigns. They have been moved back to Jujutsu Tech, so you will now need to return to JJT whenever one appears.
How to Get Shadow Island Tickets

The way you obtain Shadow Island Tickets has also changed.
You can now get these tickets from the Megumi Game Mode Raid. They can also be purchased through the Siege Shop.
This gives players two different ways to obtain the tickets:
- Farm the Megumi Game Mode Raid.
- Buy them from the Siege Shop.
You can choose between farming the raid or using your Siege currency depending on which option is more convenient for you.
Leaderboards Moved to JJT
The leaderboards have also been moved to the Jujutsu Tech spawn.
If you want to check your ranking or compare your progress with other players, head to the JJT spawn area to find them.
This is another small location change to remember when exploring the updated game.
Technique and Clan Banner Odds
The banner interface has received a useful improvement.
Technique Banners now have a question mark button that lets you check their odds. This makes it easier to understand the chances before spending your rolls.
Clan Banners have also been improved. The game now displays the individual chance for each clan, allowing you to see exactly what your chances are before using your rolls.
This is especially useful when you are saving a large number of rolls for a specific technique or clan.
Accessory Crafting Interface Reworked
The Accessory Crafting interface has received a major overhaul to make crafting easier to manage.
You can now sort materials based on the recipe you have selected. This makes it much easier to find the exact materials needed for the accessory you want to craft.
Other interface changes include:
- The material selection menu was moved to the right side.
- Recipe information is easier to see.
- The recipe selector is now scrollable.
- Recipes can no longer overlap as easily.
- Recipes you cannot currently craft are grayed out.
- Materials are easier to organize around the selected recipe.
These changes should make accessory crafting much less confusing, especially for newer players.
Guide Book Update
The Guide Book also received several improvements.
A new Page 9 has been added with additional objectives and rewards. The Guide Book will also automatically open on an incomplete page instead of sending you back to a page you have already finished.
You can now see:
- The total number of Guide Book pages.
- Your current Guide Book progress.
- New objectives.
- Completion notifications.
- Increased rewards.
The rewards for Guide Book objectives and general Guide Book progression have been increased by up to 150%.
Because of this, unfinished Guide Book pages are now more valuable. If you have ignored your Guide Book for a while, this is a good time to go back and complete the remaining objectives.
New Raid Statistics
The raid interface has also been updated with additional statistics.
You can now see your total number of completed raids as well as your fastest raid completion time.
This gives you a better way to track your farming progress and compare your best clear times.
If you regularly farm raids, these new statistics can also help you see how much time you have spent clearing them.
Other Interface Changes
Several smaller interface changes were also included in the update.
Some stat displays have been adjusted to make them easier to read. The weapon skin button inside the inventory was also moved lower so that it no longer gets cut off.
There is also a new shortcut for opening the menu. You can now press the N key to open it faster.
These are smaller changes, but they should make navigating the game a little easier.
Bug Fixes
The update also fixes several issues that were affecting gameplay and the interface.
Some of the main fixes include:
- Fixed the floating model issue in Accessory Crafting.
- Fixed an issue with Projection Sorcery auto-targeting.
- Passives should no longer automatically equip when another passive is already equipped.
- Awakened Blood Manipulation M1 attacks should no longer replace normal attacks when the technique is equipped.
- Fixed incorrect text on the Awakened Star Rage node.
- The Star Rage node no longer incorrectly says that Awakened Blood materials are required.
- The 10 Shadow Stamina wheel has been brightened to make it easier to see.
These fixes should make several techniques and systems behave more consistently after the update.
New Jujutsu Zero Code
The update also adds a new code that players can redeem for free rewards.
- The new code is: CALAMITY — 1,000 Cursed Crystals, 10,000 Lumens, and 50 Clan Rolls
Make sure you enter the code exactly as shown. Update codes can expire, so redeem it as soon as possible if it is still active.
The new Jujutsu Zero update adds a useful progression system through Refinements, giving players another reason to farm the new Curse Calamity Raid. Since Refinement materials come from this raid, players looking to maximize their accessories should make it one of their regular farming activities.
The update also makes accessory crafting easier to understand, improves Guide Book rewards, adds new banner odds information, changes how Shadow Island Tickets are obtained, and fixes several gameplay issues. With all of these changes combined, there is quite a bit to check after loading into the updated game.
