The Pegasus is one of the rarest and most useful pets in Greedy Growers. Besides providing a passive bonus to your other pets, Pegasus can also be used as a flying mount, making it especially valuable for players who want faster movement around the map. Getting Pegasus is not easy, though. You need to obtain a Majestic Egg first, and then rely on its extremely low hatch chance. Here is the complete process you need to follow.
How to Get Pegasus in Greedy Growers
The only way to get Pegasus is by hatching it from a Majestic Egg. The Majestic Egg can be obtained through several methods:
- Purchase it from the Shop with Robux.
- Win it from the Spin Wheel.
- Let a Magpie pet find one through its passive ability.
After obtaining a Majestic Egg, place it in the appropriate egg-hatching system and hatch it. There is only a 0.5% chance that the egg will give you Pegasus. This means you may need multiple Majestic Eggs before getting the pet.
How to Get Majestic Eggs for Free
If you do not want to spend Robux, there are two main options.
Use the Spin Wheel
The Spin Wheel becomes available after completing 5 Rebirths. The fifth Rebirth requires $100T, so you will need a fairly advanced account before using this method.
Once unlocked, the Spin Wheel can be used with Farmer’s Tickets. The possible rewards include:
- 50 Farmer’s Tickets — 50% chance
- Prediction Potion — 30% chance
- 3 Fruit Baskets — 15% chance
- Random Weather Event — 2.5% chance
- 500 Farmer’s Tickets — 2% chance
- Majestic Egg — 0.5% chance
The Spin Wheel is completely free to use once unlocked, but the Majestic Egg is a very rare result.
Use the Magpie Pet
Another option is getting a Magpie. Magpie is a Legendary pet that can hatch from the Mythic Egg, which has a 28% Magpie hatch chance. The Mythic Egg can be purchased from the Pet Shop for 2,000 Farmer’s Tickets.
Once you get Magpie, place it on your plot. Its passive ability allows it to occasionally find pet eggs. There is a 0.025% chance that the egg it finds will be a Majestic Egg.
Because this chance is extremely low, using multiple Magpies can give you more opportunities to find one.
Pegasus Hatch Chance
Once you have a Majestic Egg, the final challenge is getting Pegasus. The Majestic Egg contains five possible pets:
- Flamingo — 45%
- Hedgehog — 35%
- Elephant — 15%
- Horse — 4.5%
- Pegasus — 0.5%
Pegasus has the lowest hatch chance in the entire egg, making it the rarest possible result.
Because of this, do not be surprised if you hatch several other pets before seeing Pegasus.
What Does Pegasus Do?
Pegasus has two important features that make it stand out from the other Majestic Egg pets. First, its passive ability buffs the stats of your other pets. This makes Pegasus useful even when you are not riding it.
Second, Pegasus can be mounted and flown around the map. The flying ability is one of the main reasons players want to get this pet. It gives you a much different way to travel compared with normal ground-based mounts.
Best Way to Get Pegasus
If you are trying to get Pegasus without spending Robux, the best approach is to work toward multiple sources of Majestic Eggs instead of relying on a single method. A good progression route is:
- Complete 5 Rebirths to unlock the Spin Wheel.
- Save Farmer’s Tickets for Spin Wheel attempts.
- Work toward obtaining Magpie.
- Place Magpie on your plot to activate its passive.
- Use multiple Magpies if possible.
- Save every Majestic Egg you obtain.
- Hatch the eggs and hope for the 0.5% Pegasus result.
This is a long-term grind because both obtaining the egg and hatching Pegasus involve luck.
Getting Pegasus in Greedy Growers is mainly a matter of obtaining enough Majestic Eggs and getting lucky with the hatch. Pegasus has only a 0.5% hatch chance, making it the rarest pet available from the Majestic Egg. You can buy the egg with Robux, but free players can use the Spin Wheel or Magpie to obtain it. Once you finally hatch Pegasus, you get both a pet that buffs other pets and a flying mount that can be used to travel around the map.
