The Sakura Incubator is one of the most useful features in the Cherry Blossom Zone of Steal an Egg. It gives you a way to add special Bloom mutations to your eggs, but unlocking it requires a specific pet first. You will also need Sakura Crystals to keep the Incubator running.

If you have found the Sakura Incubator but cannot use it yet, this guide explains everything you need to know, including how to get the Crane and how to farm Sakura Crystals.

What Is the Sakura Incubator in Steal an Egg?

Steal an Egg Sakura Incubator Guide: Crane and Sakura Crystals

The Sakura Incubator is a special mutation machine located in the Cherry Blossom Zone, which is currently the final zone on the map.

Its main purpose is to mutate eggs from your inventory. Once you unlock the machine, you can place an egg inside and give it a chance to receive one of two Bloom mutations.

The available mutations are:

  • Bloom — 97.5% chance
  • Spirit Bloom — 2.5% chance

The Sakura Incubator needs Sakura Crystals to operate. This means unlocking the machine is only the first step. You will need to collect crystals from the Great Bloom event if you want to keep using it.

How to Unlock the Sakura Incubator

You need to offer a Crane to the Sakura Incubator before you can use it. The Crane is consumed when you unlock the machine, but this permanently unlocks the Sakura Incubator for you. Once the Crane has been accepted, you can start placing eggs into the machine whenever you have enough Sakura Crystals. To unlock it:

  1. Obtain a Crane pet.
  2. Travel to the Cherry Blossom Zone.
  3. Find the Sakura Incubator.
  4. Interact with the machine.
  5. Offer your Crane.
  6. Confirm the unlock.
  7. Start using the Incubator once you have Sakura Crystals.

What Is Crane in Steal an Egg?

Crane is an Epic Pet that can be obtained from eggs in the Cherry Blossom Zone. Because the Cherry Blossom Zone is the final area, reaching it requires a high amount of speed. You need at least 3.5B Speed to successfully steal eggs from this zone.

Once you have enough Speed, travel to the Cherry Blossom Zone and start collecting eggs until you obtain a Crane. The Crane is required to unlock the Sakura Incubator, so make sure you keep it in your inventory once you get one.

How to Use Crane to Unlock the Incubator

After obtaining the Crane, you do not need to do anything complicated with the pet. Simply travel back to the Cherry Blossom Zone and find the Sakura Incubator. Interact with the machine and offer the Crane when prompted.

The Crane will be consumed, but the Sakura Incubator will become permanently available. Since Crane is an Epic Pet that can be obtained again from eggs in the Cherry Blossom Zone, using one to unlock the Incubator is a worthwhile trade if you want access to the Bloom mutations.

How to Get Sakura Crystals

After unlocking the Sakura Incubator, your next goal is collecting Sakura Crystals. These crystals come from special Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees that appear in the Cherry Blossom Zone during the Great Bloom Event.

When the event starts, you will receive a notification on your screen. This is your signal to head to the Cherry Blossom Zone as quickly as possible. Once you arrive, equip your bat and start hitting the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees to collect Sakura Crystals.

Great Bloom Event Schedule

The Great Bloom Event does not stay active for very long, so you need to be ready when it begins. The event:

  • Appears every 30 minutes based on server time.
  • Lasts for only 3 minutes.
  • Spawns the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees.
  • Allows you to collect Sakura Crystals.

Because you only have three minutes, try to spend the entire event farming the trees instead of doing other activities.

It is a good idea to prepare before the event starts so you can immediately travel to the Cherry Blossom Zone when the notification appears.

Check the Sakura Incubator Timer

Once you have unlocked the Sakura Incubator, the machine displays a timer showing when the next Great Bloom Event will begin. This makes it much easier to plan your farming sessions.

Instead of waiting around without knowing when the event will start, check the timer and use the remaining time to prepare. Make sure your character is ready to travel to the Cherry Blossom Zone and that you have your bat equipped. When the timer reaches the event, head to the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees and collect as many Sakura Crystals as possible.

How to Use the Sakura Incubator

Once you have both the Incubator unlocked and enough Sakura Crystals, you can begin mutating your eggs. Place an egg from your inventory into the Sakura Incubator and use the available Sakura Crystals to activate the machine. The egg then has a chance to receive one of the Bloom mutations.

The current chances are:

  • Bloom: 97.5%
  • Spirit Bloom: 2.5%

Because Spirit Bloom has the much lower chance, you should expect Bloom to be the more common result.

Best Way to Farm Sakura Crystals

Since the Great Bloom Event only lasts three minutes, preparation is important. Use this simple routine:

  1. Check the Sakura Incubator timer.
  2. Wait for the Great Bloom Event.
  3. Make sure you have your bat ready.
  4. Travel to the Cherry Blossom Zone when the event starts.
  5. Find the Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees.
  6. Keep hitting the trees during the entire event.
  7. Collect as many Sakura Crystals as possible.
  8. Return to the Incubator after the event.
  9. Use your crystals to mutate your eggs.

Try not to waste the three-minute event window. Every event gives you another opportunity to build up your Sakura Crystal supply.

The Sakura Incubator gives Steal an Egg players a new way to mutate their eggs with the Bloom and Spirit Bloom mutations. To unlock it, you first need to obtain a Crane, which can be found from eggs in the Cherry Blossom Zone. You need at least 3.5B Speed to successfully steal eggs from this area.

After giving the Crane to the Sakura Incubator, you can use the machine permanently. The next step is collecting Sakura Crystals during the Great Bloom Event, which happens every 30 minutes and lasts for three minutes.

Keep an eye on the Incubator’s timer, prepare your bat before the event begins, and make the most of each three-minute Crystal farming window. With enough Sakura Crystals, you can keep using the Incubator to chase the rare Spirit Bloom mutation.
