Kiwi Kiwi is a pet that players can obtain through eggs in Adopt Me, with two different egg options available from Jane’s Shop. The biggest difference between them is the price and hatch chance. If you are planning to collect the pet for its Neon or Mega Neon version, knowing which egg gives better odds can save you a lot of Tickets.
Where to Get Kiwi Kiwi
The first thing you need to do is visit Jane’s Shop. This is where you can purchase the eggs that have a chance to hatch Kiwi Kiwi. You have two choices, so the better one depends on how many Tickets you have available.
The available eggs are:
- Basic Egg: 400 Tickets
- Crystal Egg: 4,000 Tickets
The two eggs have very different hatch rates for Kiwi Kiwi. The Basic Egg is much cheaper, but its chance of giving you the pet is quite low.
Kiwi Kiwi Hatch Chance
The Basic Egg costs only 400 Tickets and has a 0.25% chance of hatching Kiwi Kiwi. This makes it the cheaper way to make attempts, although you may need to open a large number of eggs before getting the pet.
The Crystal Egg costs 4,000 Tickets and has a much higher 5.9% chance of giving you Kiwi Kiwi. It costs ten times more than the Basic Egg, but the difference in hatch rate is significant.
If Kiwi Kiwi is the specific pet you are trying to obtain and you already have plenty of Tickets, the Crystal Egg is the better choice based on the listed odds.
Trade for Kiwi Kiwi
Eggs are not the only way to get Kiwi Kiwi. You can also trade with another Adopt Me player who already owns the pet.
Trading can save you from spending a large number of Tickets on eggs, especially if your luck has been poor. However, the trade value depends on what another player is willing to accept, so make sure you are comfortable with the deal before confirming it.
This can also be useful if you are trying to collect multiple Kiwi Kiwis for a Neon or Mega Neon.
How to Make Neon Kiwi Kiwi
To create a Neon Kiwi Kiwi, you need four Kiwi Kiwi pets. Once you have four copies, they can be combined to create the Neon version.
The Neon Kiwi Kiwi has glowing effects that can be seen around its feet and part of its face. The glow has a pale yellow appearance, making it easy to tell apart from the normal version.
Since you need four copies, getting a Neon can require considerably more Tickets and time if you rely only on eggs.
How to Make Mega Neon Kiwi Kiwi
The Mega Neon Kiwi Kiwi requires 16 copies of the pet. You essentially need four groups of four Kiwi Kiwis to reach the total needed for the Mega Neon.
The Mega Neon version keeps the same general glowing areas found on the Neon pet, but the colors cycle through a rainbow effect instead of staying pale yellow.
Collecting 16 copies through egg hatching alone can take a lot of attempts. Trading becomes an option worth considering if you want to complete the Mega Neon without depending entirely on RNG.
Which Egg Should You Choose?
The choice comes down to your Ticket supply. Basic Eggs are much cheaper at 400 Tickets, but the 0.25% hatch chance means getting Kiwi Kiwi can take a long time.
Crystal Eggs cost 4,000 Tickets, but their 5.9% chance is much more attractive if Kiwi Kiwi is your main target. Players with enough Tickets may prefer this option because each attempt has a significantly higher chance of producing the pet.
If you are low on Tickets, however, Basic Eggs remain an option. You can also mix egg farming with trading instead of putting all your resources into one method.
Getting Kiwi Kiwi in Adopt Me can be done by opening eggs from Jane’s Shop or trading with another player. The Basic Egg costs 400 Tickets and has a 0.25% chance, while the Crystal Egg costs 4,000 Tickets and offers a much better 5.9% chance.
For collectors, getting the regular Kiwi Kiwi is only the beginning. You need four copies to make Neon and 16 copies for Mega Neon. If you are aiming for one of the upgraded versions, saving Tickets, using Crystal Eggs when possible, and looking for good trades can make the collection process much easier.
