Steal an Egg has several biomes that you can visit as you increase your Speed. Each biome has its own guardian and different Eggs that can give you better pets. The farther you go, the higher the Speed requirement becomes. Cherry Blossom is currently the final biome and needs the highest Speed to enter.
All Steal an Egg Biomes
There are currently 10 biomes in Steal an Egg. They follow a straight path, so you unlock each new area by increasing your Speed.
Here is the list of all biomes and their guardians:
- Forest — No Speed requirement — Chicken
- Lake — 900 Speed — Swan
- Desert — 10K Speed — Scorpion
- Jungle — 40K Speed — Tiger
- Snow — 170K Speed — Yeti
- Volcano — 700K Speed — Hellhound
- Abyss Ocean — 2.5M Speed — Moby
- Prehistoric — 18M Speed — T-Rex
- Cosmic — 700M Speed — Dragon
- Cherry Blossom — 2.5B Speed — Nine-Tailed Fox
The biggest jump happens between Prehistoric and Cosmic. You go from needing 18M Speed to 700M Speed, which is almost 39 times higher.
What Are Biomes in Steal an Egg?
Biomes are different areas where you can find Eggs. Each biome has its own Egg types and a guardian that protects them. When you take an Egg, the guardian wakes up and starts chasing you. Your goal is to bring the Egg back to your base without getting caught. The basic gameplay loop is simple:
- Steal Eggs from a biome.
- Hatch the Eggs into pets.
- Equip better pets to earn more money.
- Upgrade your Speed.
- Reach the next biome.
- Repeat the process.
Higher biomes have better Eggs, which can give you stronger pets and more income.
How to Steal Eggs From Biomes
When you reach a biome, you will see several Eggs protected by its guardian. Choose an Egg and pick it up to start the chase.
Your movement becomes slower while carrying an Egg. Because of this, simply reaching the required Speed does not always mean you can safely escape.
If the Egg is heavy, you may need much more Speed than the listed requirement.
For example, you can reach the Desert with 10K Speed, but a heavy Egg may still be difficult to bring back. It is usually better to increase your Speed before trying to steal the best Eggs.
Recommended Speed by Egg Weight
The following numbers are recommended targets rather than strict requirements. Heavier Eggs usually need more Speed because they slow you down more.
- Lake: 920–1.2K Speed
- Desert: 10.2K–12K Speed
- Jungle: 41K–50K Speed
- Snow: 175K–210K Speed
- Volcano: 715K–840K Speed
- Abyss Ocean: 2.55M–3M Speed
- Prehistoric: 17.5M–20.5M Speed
- Cosmic: 715M–840M Speed
- Cherry Blossom: 2.6B–3.5B Speed
The higher number is useful when you want to steal the heavier Eggs from that biome.
Early Biomes: Forest, Lake, Desert, and Jungle
The Forest, Lake, Desert, and Jungle are the easiest areas to start with. Their Speed requirements are much lower than the later biomes, and the distance from your base is also shorter.
The Forest does not have a Speed requirement, making it the starting area for every player. Its Chicken guardian is also fairly easy to escape.
Lake introduces the first Speed requirement at 900. After that, Desert needs 10K Speed, while Jungle requires 40K.
For these areas, try to run directly back to your base after taking an Egg. Avoid making unnecessary turns because they give the guardian more time to catch you.
Mid-Game Biomes: Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, and Prehistoric
The game becomes much harder once you reach Snow and beyond. Guardians become faster, Eggs become heavier, and the distance back to your base gets longer.
The Snow biome requires 170K Speed and is protected by the Yeti. Volcano needs 700K Speed and has the Hellhound guardian.
After that comes Abyss Ocean at 2.5M Speed, followed by Prehistoric at 18M Speed.
At this stage, having only the minimum Speed is not always enough. Start with lighter Eggs and test whether you can escape safely before trying the heavier ones.
Cosmic and Cherry Blossom
The two hardest areas are Cosmic and Cherry Blossom.
Cosmic requires 700M Speed and is protected by the Dragon. This is a huge jump from Prehistoric’s 18M requirement. Even after reaching 700M Speed, you may still struggle to escape with heavy Eggs.
Cherry Blossom is currently the final biome. It requires 2.5B Speed and has the Nine-Tailed Fox as its guardian.
For Cherry Blossom, around 3.5B Speed is recommended if you want a safer run with heavy Eggs.
Cherry Blossom also contains the Sakura Incubator, which adds another reason to reach this area.
What Happens If the Guardian Catches You?
Getting caught does not always mean the Egg is lost.
If the guardian catches you inside the biome where you stole the Egg, the Egg can return to its original nest. You will need to try stealing it again.
However, if you are caught after reaching a biome closer to your base, the Egg can remain where you were caught. This gives you another chance to pick it up and continue the run.
Because of this, getting the Egg farther away from its original biome is important.
How to Unlock More Biomes
The main way to unlock new biomes is by increasing your Speed. Your pets help with this because better pets provide more income.
Focus on these upgrades:
- Equip your pets with the highest income.
- Upgrade your treadmill to increase Speed gains.
- Buy better Trails when you can afford them.
- Keep training even after reaching the minimum requirement.
- Save money for the next major Speed upgrade.
- Try lighter Eggs first when entering a new biome.
- Use free rewards and codes to help with early progression.
The goal is to build a cycle where better pets give more money, more money gives better upgrades, and better upgrades give more Speed.
Which Steal an Egg Biome Is the Hardest?
Cherry Blossom is currently the hardest biome to reach because it requires 2.5B Speed.
However, Cosmic has the biggest Speed jump. You need to increase your Speed from 18M in Prehistoric to 700M in Cosmic.
The biggest progression jumps are:
- Prehistoric → Cosmic: 18M to 700M, around 38.9x higher
- Abyss Ocean → Prehistoric: 2.5M to 18M, around 6.8x higher
- Cosmic → Cherry Blossom: 700M to 2.5B, around 3.6x higher
So, while Cherry Blossom is the final and hardest biome overall, Cosmic is the biggest progression wall in Steal an Egg.
Steal an Egg’s biome system is built around getting better pets and using their income to increase your Speed. Start by farming the easier areas, then slowly move toward the harder biomes. Remember that the Speed requirement only tells you when you can enter an area. If you want the best Eggs, you should have extra Speed so you can escape the guardian safely.
