All Soulrift Boss Guide, Location, Skill Info & Drop Rate!

Soulrift features a total of 10 bosses, and each one comes with a different fighting style, attack pattern, and difficulty level. These bosses are more than just enemies to defeat because each one can drop a unique accessory that can be equipped by your character.

Learning each boss’s attacks is important if you want to survive longer fights. Several bosses also gain new abilities after their HP falls below 50%, which means the second half of a battle can become much harder than the opening phase. This guide covers the full list of bosses currently known in Soulrift, including their stories and the abilities revealed for each encounter.

Soulrift Bosses List

There are currently 10 bosses in Soulrift:

  • Katan
  • Lazereth
  • Sunix
  • Acidux
  • Cryogen
  • Stormwalk
  • Mirage
  • Ardale
  • Nebula
  • Seraphim

The first five bosses have detailed attack information available, while some of the later bosses currently have less combat information revealed. Since the game is still being worked on, their movesets and mechanics may receive changes in future updates.

Katan

Katan is the first boss players will encounter in Soulrift. Before the Keepers had to face a serious threat, The Conductor needed someone who could prepare them for what was coming. Katan volunteered because he believed that fighters deserved a proper challenge. Rather than relying on overwhelming power, he fights with a katana and tests the player’s ability to react to different attacks.

Katan has three main attacks during the fight:

  • Dash — Katan quickly moves forward in a straight line, similar to Zephyr’s X dash.
  • Shuriken Throw — He throws shurikens toward the player.
  • Slash — Katan performs a horizontal slash that must be jumped over.

Once Katan falls below 50% HP, his dash becomes stronger. Instead of performing a single dash, he can dash multiple times, making the attack much harder to avoid.

Katan Drop

  • Magic Mirror — 25% drop chance

Lazereth

Lazereth was once known as Lapis and was the only person willing to participate in an experiment that would eventually change him. The transformation went terribly wrong, turning him into a destructive cyborg-like entity. He continued destroying everything around him until the person he trusted was forced to shut him down.

Lazereth’s boss fight focuses heavily on lasers and attacks that cover different parts of the arena. His attacks include missiles, laser patterns, and attacks from above, requiring players to constantly watch their surroundings.

His known attacks include:

  • Missile Attack — Lazereth launches missiles toward the player. An exclamation mark indicates when the attack is coming.
  • Laser Attack — He fires laser beams around himself.
  • Laser Field — Lazereth creates an area filled with dangerous lasers.
  • Laser Sky Strike — Multiple lasers are fired from the sky toward the arena.

When Lazereth drops below 50% HP, his lasers turn blue and some of his attacks become more complicated. His missiles become faster, while his main laser attack gains three different patterns.

The first pattern fires lasers normally. The second sends multiple lasers around him that change position after each blast. The third creates moving lasers around Lazereth that players need to jump over.

His Laser Field and Laser Sky Strike remain mostly unchanged during this phase.

Sunix

Sunix was once an expert archer who worked as an entity hunter in the living world. Her job involved dealing with containment breaches, but repeated exposure to corrupted entities eventually caused her to become one herself. She understood that she was slowly losing control but continued fighting despite what was happening to her.

Sunix’s fight is based around ranged attacks. Because she uses a bow, players need to pay attention to projectile direction and avoid staying in predictable positions for too long.

Her known attacks include:

  • Arrow Barrage — Sunix fires large white arrows toward the player.
  • Arrow Snipe — She tracks the player and fires a very fast arrow.
  • Arrow Shower — A large number of arrows rain down across the area.
  • Arrow Smite — Sunix fires an arrow from above.

At 50% HP, Sunix gains two additional attacks.

The first is a large AoE attack divided into three sections. Two sections are marked by red rectangles, while the green rectangle shows the safe area. Players need to quickly move into the green section before the attack lands.

Her second new attack has Sunix dash backward before firing a powerful arrow in a straight line. The attack has a wide range, so simply moving slightly to the side may not always be enough.

Acidux

Acidux was not originally created to be dangerous. His existence came from an accident involving scientists and military forces. Although the resulting creature was eventually contained, the process caused immense suffering. His destructive behavior is less about cruelty and more about trying to escape the constant pain he experiences.

As his name suggests, Acidux uses acid-based attacks. His abilities can cover large sections of the arena, and some attacks also apply a poison effect.

His known moves include:

  • Acid Slam — Acidux jumps and lands on an area marked by a red square with an exclamation mark. After landing, an acid wave spreads outward in every direction.
  • Acid Field — He covers the arena with acid while creating pillars that players can stand on to stay safe. Standing in the acid causes damage and applies poison.
  • Acid Blast — Acidux disappears before reappearing and charging an acidic projectile that splits into multiple balls. Green circles on the ground indicate where the projectiles will land.

The Acid Slam requires careful timing because players cannot simply jump over the wave while remaining inside the marked red area.

When Acidux reaches below 50% HP, he gains two additional abilities:

  • Homing Acid Ball — Acidux creates an acid ball and fires it toward the player. After the initial shot, it continues targeting the player several more times.
  • Surprise — Acidux disappears while green circles rapidly appear across the floor. The final circle turns red, showing where Acidux will appear before firing an acid beam.

Cryogen

Cryogen was once a powerful king who ruled his kingdom with absolute authority. His reign ended when his own daughter, the person he cared about most, betrayed him and stabbed him in the back. Even after everything that happened, he continues to remember her as a traitor.

Cryogen’s combat style revolves around ice attacks. His abilities combine projectiles, movement attacks, AoE abilities, and large attacks that require players to react quickly.

His first-phase attacks include:

  • Icicle Barrage — Cryogen fires a barrage of icicles.
  • Ice Cut — An exclamation mark appears above Cryogen before he disappears and reappears near the player to perform an AoE slash.
  • Cone of Icicles — Cryogen disappears and reappears before firing multiple icicles in a cone-shaped pattern. The attack can occur three or five times.
  • Dash and Slash — Cryogen dashes toward the player and deals damage on contact. He performs this attack three times consecutively.

Many of his projectile attacks can be avoided by jumping, but players still need to pay attention to Cryogen’s position.

Once Cryogen drops below 50% HP, he gains three additional attacks:

  • Giant Ice Sword — Cryogen charges up ice energy before creating and releasing a giant sword attack in a straight line.
  • Ice Slam — He jumps and slams into the ground, creating ice spikes in an X-shaped pattern.
  • Frost Nova — Cryogen fires three powerful ice beams in a snowflake-like pattern while also sending icicles in multiple directions.

After using Frost Nova, Cryogen remains inactive for a short period. This gives players a brief opportunity to reposition or attack before the fight continues.

Stormwalk

Stormwalk once trained alongside his brother, but his desire for unlimited power eventually changed everything. He obtained the lightning sigil, gaining overwhelming strength at the cost of his humanity and sanity.

The situation became serious enough that a coalition was formed to stop him. In the end, Stormwalk’s own brother delivered the attack that killed him.

Stormwalk is one of the bosses currently known to be part of Soulrift, although his complete combat moveset and attack details have not been revealed in the available information.

His story suggests that lightning and the sigil will play a major role in his boss fight. More details about his abilities, phase changes, and possible accessory drop can be added once the developers reveal them.

Mirage

Mirage is an assassin who relies on deception instead of raw strength. His main advantage is confusion, making it difficult for opponents to know which attacks or objects are real.

He worked for some of the most unstable organizations and became known for completing infiltration missions without leaving evidence behind. However, one mission eventually went wrong. During a period of escalating political conflict, Mirage became an important strategic target.

A nuclear strike destroyed the entire region where he was located, taking Mirage with it.

His combat abilities have not been fully detailed yet, but his story strongly points toward a boss fight based on illusions, fake attacks, and misleading visual effects. Players may need to determine which attacks are real rather than simply reacting to everything on screen.

Ardale

Ardale was once a firefighter who volunteered for a dangerous mission involving an enormous forest fire. Nobody else wanted to take the assignment because of the scale of the disaster, but Ardale accepted it.

The fire eventually consumed him. Instead of simply dying, however, the flames became part of his soul and transformed him into something far more dangerous.

Ardale is one of the currently confirmed Soulrift bosses, but his complete moveset has not yet been revealed. His history suggests that fire will be central to his combat style, potentially making area denial and burning attacks important parts of his encounter.

Nebula

Nebula was created through an extremely rare event involving the collision of two shooting stars. She eventually became known as a ruler of the cosmos, gaining the ability to manipulate planets and moons.

Her power eventually brought her into conflict with Earth, but even someone capable of controlling celestial bodies could not escape a greater force. At the peak of her reign, Nebula was absorbed into another system that was far larger than the solar systems she once controlled.

Nebula is one of the higher-level bosses in the current Soulrift roster. Her cosmic background suggests that players can expect celestial or space-themed abilities, although her full attack list has not yet been revealed.

Seraphim

Seraphim was an ally of Nebula and possessed power over stars rather than moons. One of the most notable stars under his control was the Sun.

His abilities went beyond controlling stars, as Seraphim also had power over the flow of time. However, he eventually suffered the same fate as Nebula and was absorbed by the same greater entity.

Before losing his power, Seraphim managed to preserve part of his abilities inside a scroll. He hid that scroll in the deepest part of Earth, the only known life-bearing planet near the star.

Seraphim is currently the final boss listed in the Soulrift boss roster. His connection to stars and time makes him particularly interesting, although his complete moveset and boss mechanics have yet to be revealed.

Soulrift Boss Drops

One of the biggest reasons to fight bosses in Soulrift is the accessory system. Bosses can drop unique accessories that players can equip to customize their characters and create different playstyles.

The currently confirmed boss drop is:

  • Katan — Magic Mirror — 25% drop chance

The available information does not yet provide confirmed accessory drops for every boss. As more bosses receive detailed information, their accessories and drop rates can be added to the list.

The Soulrift boss list currently contains 10 bosses, ranging from Katan, the first katana-wielding boss, to powerful characters such as Nebula and Seraphim. Each boss has a different story and combat identity, while several encounters become significantly harder once their HP falls below 50%.

For players preparing for these fights, learning attack indicators is just as important as dealing damage. Red areas, green safe zones, projectiles, dashes, and sudden phase changes can all determine whether you survive an encounter. Since Soulrift is still being developed, expect the boss roster, abilities, accessories, and drop rates to receive more details and possible changes in future updates.
