Pulpo Cookie is one of the more unusual Epic Cookies to arrive in Cookie Run: Kingdom, especially when it comes to her visual design and how her skill works. Unlike many Support Cookies that focus heavily on healing or team buffs, Pulpo Cookie is built around weakening enemies and increasing the Darkness-type damage they receive.

Her design also stands out from the rest of the Cookie lineup, using a different comic-like art style and animation. However, her biggest value is not raw damage. Pulpo Cookie is more useful when placed in teams that can take advantage of her Darkness debuffs, especially against non-Cookie enemies.

Pulpo Cookie Role and Position

Pulpo Cookie Cookie Run Kingdom Guide: Skill, Build, and Best Uses

Pulpo Cookie is an Epic Support Cookie positioned in the Front line. She uses the Darkness element, which makes her particularly interesting for teams that already rely on Darkness-type damage.

Unlike traditional Support Cookies, Pulpo Cookie does not act as a dedicated healer. Her main job is to apply debuffs, group enemies together, and make them take more Darkness damage.

This means you should not expect Pulpo Cookie to keep your team alive. Instead, she works as a support unit that improves the team’s overall damage against suitable enemies.

Pulpo Cookie Skill Explained

Pulpo Cookie’s skill is called All Wrapped Up and has a base cooldown of 15 seconds. When activated, she sends gift fragments and gift boxes toward the enemy team.

The skill deals multiple hits while also applying effects that benefit Darkness-based teams. Pulpo Cookie wraps enemies with ribbons, pulls them together, and shackles them for a limited period.

The main skill effects include:

  • Deals 12 hits over 2.5 seconds.
  • Each hit deals around 48.8% of ATK.
  • Applies a Weakness effect.
  • All Wrapped Up deals around 1,914.5% ATK in total.
  • Ribbon Shackling lasts for 4 seconds.
  • Enemies receive additional damage when the shackles end.
  • Enemies can be pulled together by the ribbons.
  • Pulpo Cookie gains Mobile Collection stacks when nearby enemies are incapacitated.
  • Shackled enemies provide additional Mobile Collection stacks.
  • Mobile Collection increases ATK.
  • Mobile Collection also reduces Pulpo Cookie’s cooldown.
  • Enemies can take increased Darkness-type damage from the effect.

The most important part of her kit is therefore not simply the damage from the gift boxes. The Darkness damage amplification is what makes her worth considering for specific PvE content.

Mobile Collection Is Her Main Mechanic

Pulpo Cookie’s Mobile Collection mechanic is one of the biggest reasons to use her. She gains stacks when nearby non-Cookie enemies become incapacitated.

A normal incapacitated enemy gives her two stacks, while an enemy that was shackled with her ribbons provides an additional three stacks.

At maximum, Mobile Collection can reach 15 stacks. Each stack provides an ATK increase and reduces her cooldown, allowing her to use her skill more frequently.

This creates a useful loop where Pulpo Cookie can become more effective as enemies are defeated around her. The mechanic is particularly suited to battles where you are fighting groups of regular enemies rather than a single boss.

Darkness Damage Debuff

Pulpo Cookie becomes more interesting when paired with other Darkness-type Cookies. Her Ribbon Collection effect can increase the Darkness-type damage enemies receive, although bosses are excluded from this part of the effect.

The bonus can reach 30% Darkness-type damage taken at maximum stacks.

This makes Pulpo Cookie more of a damage amplifier than a conventional Support Cookie. If your team already has strong Darkness attackers, she can help increase their damage output.

She also applies additional debuffs that can reduce effects such as healing and Darkness-related critical effects for a limited duration.

Does Pulpo Cookie Work With Time Shadow Cookie?

Pulpo Cookie can have good synergy with Time Shadow Cookie because both can benefit from Darkness-type damage interactions.

Since Pulpo Cookie’s main purpose is to increase the amount of Darkness damage enemies take, using her alongside a Darkness-focused damage dealer makes more sense than putting her into a random team.

The important thing is to build around her actual strengths. If your team does not deal Darkness damage, a large portion of Pulpo Cookie’s value can be lost.

Best Game Modes for Pulpo Cookie

Pulpo Cookie is not designed to dominate every mode. Her biggest limitation is the condition attached to several of her effects, particularly the focus on non-Cookie enemies.

Because of that, her strongest use cases are PvE modes where you fight groups of enemies.

Trials of the Nether Realm

The Trials of the Nether Realm is one of the best places to consider Pulpo Cookie.

The mode can contain Darkness-related enemies and situations where increasing Darkness damage is useful. Her ability to weaken enemies and boost Darkness-type damage gives her a clear purpose here.

This is probably the main mode where you should consider building a team around her instead of simply using another general-purpose Support Cookie.

Story Mode

Pulpo Cookie can also be used in Story content. Since Story stages contain many non-Cookie enemies, her kit can work much better here than it would in certain competitive modes.

Her enemy grouping can also help damage dealers hit multiple targets more efficiently.

She may not be necessary for every stage, but she can be useful if you are specifically building around Darkness damage.

Cookie Alliance

The value of Pulpo Cookie in Cookie Alliance is more limited than it might initially appear.

Changes to the mode mean that some stages can contain more boss-focused encounters, and Pulpo Cookie’s strongest effects are not intended for bosses. This significantly reduces the reason to bring her into those situations.

She can still have some uses depending on the enemies in a particular stage, but she is not an automatic Cookie Alliance pick.

Arena

Pulpo Cookie is not a strong priority for the current Arena meta.

Her kit is highly specialized toward PvE enemies and Darkness-type damage amplification. When facing other Cookies, many of the effects that make her interesting become less valuable.

For that reason, spending a large amount of resources specifically to build Pulpo Cookie for Arena is difficult to recommend.

Recommended Pulpo Cookie Build

For her main role, Cooldown is a strong direction to consider.

Pulpo Cookie wants to use her skill frequently because her value comes from repeatedly applying her ribbons, gathering Mobile Collection stacks, and maintaining her debuffs.

A cooldown-focused setup can help her cycle through her skill faster and keep the enemy under pressure.

A simple priority would be:

  • Focus on Cooldown.
  • Keep enough survivability for the content you are playing.
  • Avoid building her purely for raw ATK.
  • Prioritize frequent skill usage.
  • Pair her with Darkness-type damage dealers.

Her own damage is not necessarily the reason you bring her into a team. The additional damage amplification and debuffs are much more important.

Should You Invest in Pulpo Cookie?

For most players, Pulpo Cookie does not look like a Cookie that needs massive investment immediately.

Her usefulness is highly dependent on the game mode and team composition. If you regularly play Trials of the Nether Realm or other PvE content where non-Cookie enemies and Darkness damage are important, she becomes much more attractive.

However, if you mainly care about Arena or general-purpose teams, there are likely better places to spend your resources.

Getting one copy of Pulpo Cookie can be a reasonable starting point. You can then test her in your own Darkness-focused teams before deciding whether additional investment is worthwhile.

Pulpo Cookie is easily one of the more unusual Epic Cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom. Her comic-inspired appearance already separates her from the other Cookies, but her gameplay is even more specialized.

She is not a traditional Support Cookie that keeps the team alive. Instead, Pulpo Cookie focuses on controlling enemies, applying shackles, building Mobile Collection stacks, and increasing Darkness-type damage against suitable targets.

Her strongest role currently appears to be in PvE content, especially Trials of the Nether Realm and Story stages. She can work well alongside Darkness attackers such as Time Shadow Cookie, but her usefulness drops considerably in modes where bosses or other Cookies are the primary targets.

For now, pulling one copy and testing her is a sensible approach. Her unique design makes her worth checking out, but her specialized kit means you should think carefully before putting a large amount of resources into her.
