The Trick Egg is one of the important eggs added in Grow a Chicken Fighter Update 3. It can hatch five different chickens, including the rare Secret Ace Rooster. However, you cannot easily farm Trick Eggs from the beginning. You first need to obtain the Catalyst Hen, which gives you your first chance to produce a Trick Egg. After you hatch your first Trick Egg, you can switch to the chickens from that egg to make farming Trick Eggs easier.
How to Get Trick Egg Grow a Chicken Fighter
The first step is getting the Catalyst Hen. This Secret Chicken can hatch from the Colossus Egg. The Catalyst Hen has a less than 1% chance of hatching from a Colossus Egg, so you may need to open many eggs before getting it. Once you obtain Catalyst Hen, keep it and place it in your Coop or Incubator.
Catalyst Hen produces an egg every 10 minutes. Each egg has a chance to become either a Colossus Egg or a Trick Egg. The chances are:
- Colossus Egg: 98%
- Trick Egg: 2%
Keep Catalyst Hen active and collect the eggs it produces. Because the Trick Egg chance is only 2%, you may need to wait for several egg cycles before getting one.
Hatch Your First Trick Egg
Once you finally get a Trick Egg, hatch it to obtain one of the five available chickens. The Trick Egg can hatch:
- Domino Chick – Rare
- Checkmate Hen – Epic
- Puzzle Hen – Legendary
- High Roller Rooster – Cosmic
- Ace Rooster – Secret
The main target for many players is Ace Rooster, but its extremely low chance makes it difficult to obtain.
Use Trick Egg Chickens to Farm More
After hatching your first Trick Egg, you can use the chicken you obtained to continue farming Trick Eggs. This is an important part of the progression because you are no longer relying only on Catalyst Hen.
For example, even the Rare Domino Chick has a 10% chance to lay a Trick Egg. This is much higher than Catalyst Hen’s 2% chance. Place your Trick Egg chicken in the appropriate setup and continue collecting the eggs it produces.
Trick Egg Farming Route
The full Trick Egg farming process is:
- Farm Colossus Eggs.
- Hatch them until you get Catalyst Hen.
- Place Catalyst Hen in your Coop or Incubator.
- Wait for it to produce eggs.
- Get your first Trick Egg.
- Hatch the Trick Egg.
- Use the new Trick Egg chicken for further farming.
- Continue collecting Trick Eggs.
- Hatch more Trick Eggs until you get the chicken you want.
This makes the first Trick Egg the hardest part of the farming process. Once you obtain a Trick Egg chicken with a better production chance, farming becomes much easier.
Farming Trick Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter starts with the Catalyst Hen. You need to hatch a Colossus Egg and get Catalyst Hen, which has a less than 1% chance of appearing. Once you have it, place Catalyst Hen in your Coop or Incubator. It produces an egg every 10 minutes with a 2% chance of being a Trick Egg.
After hatching your first Trick Egg, use one of the new chickens to improve your farming. The Rare Domino Chick, for example, has a 10% chance to lay a Trick Egg. Keep repeating the process and saving your Trick Egg chickens until you eventually get the Secret Ace Rooster.
