Finding Parasites is important if you’re trying to get the Flyswatter in Steal an Egg. These purple items can be found on top of infected Eggs around the map. Since you need five Parasites to get a Monster Chest, knowing where and how to look for them can save you a lot of time. Here are some simple tips to find Parasites faster.
1. Look for Infected Eggs
The easiest way to find a Parasite is to search for infected Eggs. Parasites appear on top of Eggs and have a noticeable purple color, making them easier to spot when you know what you’re looking for. The Parasites can appear in different sizes, so don’t only look for large ones. Check the top of every Egg you pass while exploring the map.
Parasites aren’t limited to one specific Egg location. Because of this, you should move around the map and check different Eggs instead of staying in one area. A good approach is to make a route around the map. Check the Eggs in one section, move to the next area, and continue searching. This is usually faster than randomly running around without a set path.
2. Server Hop for More Parasites
If you’re having trouble finding enough Parasites, server hopping can help. Leave your current server and join another one, then start checking the Eggs again. A new server can give you another opportunity to find infected Eggs. This can be especially useful when other players have already collected the Parasites in your current server.
What Does Parasites Use For?
The main reason many players are looking for Parasites is to obtain the Flyswatter. Once you receive a Monster Chest, open it for a chance to get the item. The Flyswatter has a 5% chance of dropping from the Monster Chest, so getting one chest may not be enough. You need five Parasites before you can use them with the Hungry Monster. Once you’ve collected five, head back to the Hungry Monster, which is located near the entrance of the Safe Area. Feed the Parasites to the Monster to fill it up. After feeding it enough Parasites, you’ll receive a Monster Chest. If you don’t get it, simply repeat the process:
- Search for infected Eggs.
- Collect purple Parasites.
- Get five Parasites.
- Feed them to the Hungry Monster.
- Receive a Monster Chest.
- Open the chest.
- Repeat if necessary.
The fastest way to find Parasites in Steal an Egg is to focus on infected Eggs and look for the purple Parasites sitting on top of them. Check Eggs across the map and consider server hopping if your current server has already been cleared by other players.
Once you collect five Parasites, take them to the Hungry Monster near the Safe Area. You’ll receive a Monster Chest, giving you another chance to get the limited Flyswatter.
