Tranko gains Damage and Cooldown bonuses when several enemies are nearby. This makes him useful against groups, but his effectiveness drops when fighting isolated enemies or Bosses.
Hido
Rarity: Legendary
Hido builds Blood through his attacks and can eventually apply Brittle after reaching the required amount. However, his ritual comes with penalties to his own stats. He can provide some early Support value, but there are stronger choices for long-term use.
Choto
Rarity: Legendary
Choto collects Blood from defeated enemies. Once his Blood reaches the required level, he gains additional Range and Damage. The problem is that he relies heavily on getting kills before he can activate his stronger effects.
Kengako
Rarity: Legendary
Kengako has a Damage value that randomly shifts between lower and higher amounts. Although he can reach a respectable Damage ceiling, his inconsistent output makes him less dependable than stronger Units with more reliable performance.
Rose

Rose can increase her Damage by taking some Damage from nearby Units. While this can make her stronger, the trade-off can also weaken the rest of your team. She therefore requires careful positioning and team planning.
Semanu

Meywa

How to Summon Units in Anime Origins
Getting the strongest Units in Anime Origins can take some time, especially when you’re looking for Secret or Mythic characters. You may need to farm resources, complete different stages, and repeatedly use the Summon system before getting the Unit you want.
The actual summoning process is straightforward. Once you’re in the game, follow these steps:
- Spawn into the Anime Origins lobby.
- Find the Summon building.
- Look for the Mysa NPC.
- Interact with Mysa to open the Summon menu.
- Select Buy 1x if you want to summon a single Unit.
- Select Buy 10x if you want to perform ten summons at once.
- Continue summoning until you obtain the Units you need for your team.
Keep in mind that getting a high-tier Unit doesn’t automatically make it the best choice for every situation. Some Units are designed specifically for Bosses, while others are better at Crowd Control, Economy, Hill coverage, or supporting other characters. Building a team around the abilities you actually need can be more effective than simply filling every slot with the highest rarity Units.
Which Units Should You Use in Anime Origins?
For general use, the S Tier Units are the safest choices because they provide the most consistent value across different types of content. Madaro (Edo Tensei) and Goju (Honored One) are particularly useful when Crowd Control is important, while Valcrad (Unleashed) is a strong choice for Boss-focused teams.
If you’re struggling with your Economy, Bluma (Data Analyst) can be a major upgrade because of her Income bonuses. Meanwhile, Cursed Lover (Pure Love) stands out for his ability to copy Active Abilities, giving him a lot of flexibility.
A Tier Units are also worth investing in, especially if you don’t have the Secret Units from S Tier. Units such as Igritto, Tojei, Noroto, Vegita, and Goki can fill important roles and remain useful well into harder content.
The best Anime Origins Units depend on what you’re trying to clear, but the S Tier characters are generally the strongest investments for an all-around roster.
