A new Fruit has entered the world of Blox Fruits, and this time it is the Magnet Fruit. After recent changes and reworks to Fruits such as Tiger, Bomb, and Rubber, Magnet brings a different type of gameplay with its robot arms, Scrap Metal system, and powerful transformation.

Magnet is not simply a Fruit where you learn the skills and spam them. Its main mechanic revolves around collecting Scrap Metal to build up Magnetic Power. As your power increases, the robot arms become stronger and unlock different attacks. The Fruit also has a full transformation that turns you into a large robot with a completely different moveset.

How to Get Magnet Fruit

Magnet Fruit is a new Fruit that players can obtain through the available Fruit acquisition systems in Blox Fruits. The exact method you use will depend on which Fruit sources are currently available in the game. Keep an eye on the Fruit Dealer and other normal Fruit acquisition methods if you are trying to get Magnet for yourself.

Once you obtain it, it is worth spending some time learning how Scrap Metal works before jumping straight into PvP. Building Magnetic Power can make a noticeable difference in how the Fruit performs.

How Does Magnet Fruit Work?

Blox Fruits Magnet Fruit Guide: Moveset, Magnetic Power, and Transformation

When you activate the Magnet Fruit, two rocket-powered robotic arms appear and float behind your character. These arms are connected to the Fruit’s main mechanic, Magnetic Power. To increase your Magnetic Power, you need to collect Scrap Metal. These collectibles can be found around you and have a blue aura, making them easier to spot.

There are three Magnetic Power stages in total. As you collect more Scrap Metal, the robotic arms become larger and their appearance changes. More importantly, each stage gives you different M1 attacks.

Magnetic Power also increases your defense. However, there is a downside because taking damage will cause you to lose some of your stored Magnetic Power.Because of this mechanic, collecting Scrap Metal during combat can be very useful if you want to keep Magnet at its strongest stage.

Magnetic Pull Passive

Magnet Fruit comes with a passive ability called Magnetic Pull. This passive becomes available starting from Stage 2 Magnetic Power and becomes stronger once you reach Stage 3. Magnetic Pull can draw enemies toward you, making it easier to keep opponents in range.

This can be especially useful for combo setups because you can pull enemies closer before following up with another Magnet skill. The passive gives Magnet another way to control enemy positioning instead of relying only on direct attacks.

Magnet Fruit Normal Moveset

Before transforming, Magnet Fruit already has a large number of abilities. Its normal moveset includes ranged attacks, crowd control, weapon removal, and even flight.

Z – Scrap Arsenal I

The Tap version of Scrap Arsenal I becomes available after activating Magnet.

This skill allows you to fire projectiles at enemies. The projectiles also have a magnetic effect that can pull enemies toward them.

It can be useful for starting attacks from a distance or making it harder for opponents to escape.

Z – Scrap Arsenal II

Holding the Z button changes the attack into Scrap Arsenal II.

Instead of simply firing projectiles, Magnet summons a floating turret. The turret stays in the air and rains bullets down toward enemies.

This version is useful for applying pressure to opponents from a distance and attacking an area without having to stay directly next to the target.

X – Magnetic Overcharge I

The Tap version of Magnetic Overcharge creates a magnetic cage around the target.

The cage keeps the enemy in place before exploding and dealing damage. The ability can therefore be useful for stopping an opponent and setting up another attack.

X – Magnetic Overcharge II

Holding X activates the stronger version of Magnetic Overcharge.

This version creates a larger attack with more damage and a wider range. Because of the larger area, it can be more useful when fighting multiple enemies or trying to catch an opponent who is moving around.

C – Polarizing Drop I

The Tap version of Polarizing Drop uses the robotic arms to perform an uppercut.

The attack is then followed by a powerful slam into the ground, giving the skill both a direct hit and a ground-based attack.

It works best when an enemy is close enough for the full attack to connect.

C – Polarizing Drop II

Holding C changes Polarizing Drop into its second version.

The skill still attacks enemies, but it also pulls nearby Scrap Metal toward you. Any Scrap collected this way is automatically added to your robotic arms.

This makes the skill useful for both combat and building up your Magnetic Power.

F – Weapon Disarm

Tapping F allows the robotic arms to grab an opponent.

One of the main effects is that it can force the enemy to unequip their sword. This can be useful against players who depend heavily on sword attacks during PvP.

Using the ability at the right moment can interrupt an opponent’s usual fighting style.

F – Jetpack Flight

Holding F activates a jetpack and allows your character to fly.

You can continue using other abilities while flying, giving Magnet good mobility during combat.

However, the flight has a limit. Taking too much damage will cause the flight to end.

F – Jetpack Projectile

While flying, tapping F will launch the jetpack away as a projectile.

This gives the flight ability another offensive use instead of being purely a movement skill.

V – Maximum Overdrive

The V ability activates Maximum Overdrive when your Magnetic Power is full.

This transforms your character into a large robotic form and gives you access to a completely different set of attacks.

Magnet Fruit Transformed Moveset

Maximum Overdrive changes how Magnet plays.

In robot form, you become much tougher and gain strong resistance against gun damage. However, there is also a weakness. The transformed form takes extra damage from electricity, so players need to be careful when fighting enemies that use electric-based attacks.

The transformed moveset is much more focused on large attacks, AOE damage, and heavy weapons.

Z – Scrap Arsenal I Transformed

In robot form, Scrap Arsenal I becomes a heat-seeking missile attack.

The missile tracks enemies after being fired, making it easier to hit moving targets compared to a normal projectile.

Z – Scrap Arsenal II Transformed

Holding Z turns the robot’s attack into a minigun.

The minigun fires a large number of shots forward, allowing you to continuously pressure enemies in front of you.

This is one of the more straightforward ranged attacks in the transformed moveset.

X – Magnetic Overcharge I Transformed

The transformed version of Magnetic Overcharge I fires a large Scrap projectile.

Once it reaches its target, the projectile explodes and creates a large AOE attack.

This makes it useful when several enemies are grouped together or when you want to cover a larger area.

X – Magnetic Overcharge II Transformed

Holding X creates a large explosion around the robot.

The explosion deals AOE damage while also pulling nearby enemies toward its center.

This combination of damage and crowd control can make it easier to follow up with another ability.

C – Polarizing Drop I Transformed

Polarizing Drop I becomes a much larger AOE attack while transformed.

The robot drops a large amount of Scrap around itself, damaging enemies caught inside the area.

Because of its wide range, this version is more useful when fighting groups of enemies.

C – Polarizing Drop II Transformed

Holding C summons a large hammer.

The robot then spins around while using the hammer, creating a wide attack with a large reach. The attack can also move with the robot, allowing you to cover a larger area.

There is one important detail: this attack cannot be cancelled once it starts.

Because of that, make sure you are in a good position before using it.

F – Sonic Boom

Tapping F while transformed releases an AOE sonic boom.

Enemies caught by the attack can have their swords unequipped. Since the attack affects an area rather than just one target, it can also be useful against multiple sword users at once.

F – Jetpack Flight Transformed

Holding F activates the robot’s jetpack and allows the transformed character to fly.

This gives the robot another way to move around the battlefield and chase or escape from enemies.

V – End Maximum Overdrive

Pressing V again ends the Maximum Overdrive transformation.

Your character leaves the robot, but the mech does not disappear immediately. It stays behind for a short period before self-destructing.

The resulting explosion deals damage around the robot, giving you one final attack when the transformation ends.

Is Magnet Fruit Good for PvP?

Magnet Fruit has several tools that can make it useful for PvP. Its ability to pull enemies, lock them in place, remove swords, and deal AOE damage gives players plenty of ways to control a fight.

The transformation adds even more options. You get tracking missiles, a minigun, large explosions, a hammer attack, and flight.

However, Magnet also requires some management. Taking damage reduces Magnetic Power, meaning you cannot simply expect to stay at maximum strength throughout an entire fight.

The robot form also has its electric weakness. Players who understand when to collect Scrap Metal and when to activate Maximum Overdrive will likely get much more value from the Fruit.

Magnet Fruit adds a new style of gameplay to Blox Fruits with its Magnetic Power system and robotic abilities. Instead of simply using skills one after another, players need to collect Scrap Metal to increase the strength of their robotic arms and unlock stronger stages.

Its normal moveset already offers plenty of options, including projectiles, turrets, magnetic cages, ground attacks, weapon disarming, and flight. Once Maximum Overdrive is activated, the Fruit becomes even more powerful with missiles, miniguns, large AOE attacks, and a heavy hammer.

If you enjoy Fruits with multiple mechanics and different ways to approach PvP, Magnet is definitely a Fruit worth learning.
