Clash of Critters Carnival Rush Event Guide, All You Need to Know!
Clash of Critters is getting a new limited-time event called Carnival Rush. Unlike some of the game’s regular events, Carnival Rush is designed to run alongside the normal event rotation, so you can take part without missing the usual activities.
The event lasts for 14 days and introduces a new feature called the Wishing Machine. By completing special quests, you can earn Wishing Coins and use them to spin the machine for different prizes. Some rewards are small, but there is also a chance to hit the Grand Prize. Here is everything you need to know about the Carnival Rush event in Clash of Critters.
What Is Carnival Rush?
Carnival Rush is a side event that gives players extra activities and rewards while they continue playing Clash of Critters normally. You do not have to stop playing the current event to participate because Carnival Rush has its own section in the game.
Inside the Carnival Rush menu, you can find the Wishing Machine, event quests, available rewards, and server-wide milestones. Most of your progress will come from completing the quests and collecting Wishing Coins.
The event will stay active for 14 days, giving you enough time to work through its different quest phases. Since it is a side event, it is worth checking the event tab whenever you log in.
How to Get Wishing Coins
Wishing Coins are the main currency used during Carnival Rush. You need these coins to use the Wishing Machine, so collecting as many as possible is the main objective of the event. The easiest way to get Wishing Coins is by completing the special Carnival Rush quests. These tasks are mostly based on activities you would already do while playing the game. Some examples of Carnival Rush quests include:
- Logging into Clash of Critters
- Feeding your creatures
- Completing Cherry Harvest
- Playing Pinball
- Completing Boss Challenges
- Playing the current event
- Finishing other event-related activities
Some quests can change depending on which normal event is active. For example, if Treasure Hunt is currently running, Carnival Rush may give you a quest that asks you to participate in Treasure Hunt.
How the Wishing Machine Works
The Wishing Machine is the main attraction of Carnival Rush. It works like a random prize machine, where you spend one Wishing Coin to make a spin and have a chance to receive an item. The machine displays different icons during each spin. If you match three of the same icons, you receive the corresponding reward. However, not every spin will give you something.
A normal Wishing Machine spin has a 70% chance of giving a reward, meaning there is also a 30% chance of getting nothing. Because of this, you should not expect to receive a prize every time you use a Wishing Coin. Possible rewards include:
- Pinball
- Wish Boxes
- Capsules
- Bento Boxes
- Badges
- Other small event rewards
- 1,000 Pinball Grand Prize
The rewards are random, so you may get several smaller prizes before landing one of the better rewards.
Carnival Rush Grand Prize
The biggest reward available from the Wishing Machine is the 1,000 Pinball Grand Prize. It is a very rare reward, so you should consider it a lucky bonus rather than something you can easily farm.
Under normal conditions, the Grand Prize has a 0.6% chance of appearing from a spin. That makes it much less common than the other rewards available from the machine. There is, however, another mechanic that can give you a better opportunity to get it.
What Is Double Reward?
The Wishing Machine also has a Double Reward mechanic. There is a 7% chance for Double Reward to activate after a spin. When Double Reward activates, your next spin is guaranteed to give you a reward. This means that the next spin cannot result in the usual 30% no-reward outcome.
More importantly, the Grand Prize chance increases during this special spin. Instead of the normal 0.6% chance, the Grand Prize chance increases to 1%. This means a Double Reward activation is especially useful if you are hoping to get the 1,000 Pinball prize.
Carnival Rush Quest Phases
Carnival Rush quests are separated into four phases throughout the event. Each phase lasts around two days, with new tasks becoming available as the event moves forward. Because the quests are released in stages, you should check the Carnival Rush menu regularly rather than assuming everything is available from the first day.
Most tasks are straightforward and can be completed while playing normally. You do not necessarily need to spend extra resources just to finish them. A good approach is to complete the quests whenever they appear, claim the rewards, and save yourself from having to rush through everything near the end of the event.
Remember to Claim Your Quest Rewards
One of the easiest mistakes to make during Carnival Rush is forgetting to claim completed quest rewards. Finishing a quest does not mean you have already collected its reward. You still need to open the event menu and claim it manually.
This is especially important because unclaimed quests can disappear when the current quest phase refreshes. If that happens, you could lose the Wishing Coins that the quest would have provided. To avoid this, make it a habit to check the Carnival Rush tab after completing several tasks. Claiming the rewards immediately is the safest option.
Carnival Rush Server Milestones
Carnival Rush also includes rewards that are based on the activity of the entire server. These are called server milestones. Every player contributes to the server’s total number of Wishing Machine spins. As the community reaches certain spin targets, everyone can unlock additional rewards.
This means your personal number of spins is not the only thing that matters. Other players on the same server are also helping push the total toward the next milestone. Server milestone rewards can include:
- Furniture
- Wish Boxes
- Capsules
- Pinball
- Other Carnival Rush items
One of the larger targets is 20 million total Wishing Machine spins. Reaching this milestone can reward players with items such as three Wish Boxes. Because the milestone is server-wide, even players who do not make many spins can benefit from the activity of other players.
Is Carnival Rush Worth Playing?
Carnival Rush is best treated as a bonus event rather than a major part of your daily progression. The rewards from individual spins are not always impressive, and the 30% chance of getting nothing means you will have some unlucky attempts.
However, the event does not require a huge amount of extra work. Most of the quests involve activities that you are already likely to do during your normal Clash of Critters sessions. The biggest reason to participate is the chance to collect free rewards without having to invest too much time.
There is also the possibility of getting the 1,000 Pinball Grand Prize, although its normal 0.6% chance means you should not rely on it. The best strategy is simple:
- Complete Carnival Rush quests whenever they become available.
- Claim every completed quest reward.
- Collect as many Wishing Coins as possible.
- Use your Wishing Coins on the Wishing Machine.
- Take advantage of Double Reward when it appears.
- Keep an eye on the server milestone progress.
- Continue playing your normal events at the same time.
Friend List Limit Increased
Carnival Rush also comes with a useful change outside of the main event mechanics. The friend list limit has been increased from 50 to 80 friends. That gives players 30 additional friend slots, which can be useful for active Clash of Critters players who regularly add new people. The new limit may still fill up quickly if you have a large number of active friends, but the extra space is a welcome improvement.
Carnival Rush is a straightforward 14-day side event in Clash of Critters that gives players another way to earn rewards. Its main feature is the Wishing Machine, which uses Wishing Coins earned from event quests.
The machine can provide different rewards, including Pinball, Wish Boxes, Capsules, Bento Boxes, badges, and other items. There is also a rare chance to receive the 1,000 Pinball Grand Prize.
Just keep in mind that a normal spin has a 30% chance of giving no reward. Double Reward can make things more interesting, as it guarantees a prize on the next spin and increases the Grand Prize chance from 0.6% to 1%.
Overall, Carnival Rush is worth doing because it works alongside the regular event rotation and does not demand too much extra time. Complete the quests, claim your Wishing Coins, use them on the machine, and let the rewards come as a bonus while you continue playing Clash of Critters.
