If you want to fully complete Clean All the Leaves and unlock everything the game has to offer, you will need to do more than simply clear the leaves from each area. The game currently has three maps: House, Mansion, and Gas Station, with each map containing several zones, multiple waves, and hidden spots where leaves can easily get stuck.

The House map is the most important one if you are hunting for the Secret Ending Badge. You must reach 100% completion in every area, including the Basement, before the secret path becomes available. The Mansion and Gas Station maps do not require the same secret-ending route, but completing them at 100% will let you finish their full progression.

This guide explains the best tools to buy, which areas to clear first, where leaves commonly get stuck, and how to reach the Secret Ending.

Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Requirements

The Secret Ending is tied to the House map. To unlock it, you need to completely clean every area and reach 100% progress before entering the hidden basement path. There are 11 areas that need to be completed on the House map:

  • Frontyard
  • Shed
  • Porch
  • Court
  • Garage
  • Rooftop
  • Backyard
  • Pool
  • Maze
  • Farm
  • Basement

A single area being stuck at 99% is enough to prevent the final area from opening. Because of this, it is worth checking the progress percentage of every zone before moving forward.

For your upgrades, avoid spending too much money on the Rake. The better strategy is to improve your Hold, Dexterity, and Grasp, then save your money for the Leaf Blower.

Once you have the Leaf Blower, unlocking the Vents around the map will make cleaning much faster.

The Basement is especially important. After clearing the Farm, you can access it, but you should purchase the Molotov from the Backyard before going inside. The Basement does not have a Leaf Trash Can or Vent, so burning large piles of leaves is much faster than carrying them out one by one.

After clearing both Basement waves and reaching 100%, a sliding gate will open. Follow the path behind it to trigger the Secret Ending and obtain the Secret Ending Badge.

Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Guide: How to Get 100% Completion

Warning: spoilers ahead.

After completing the Basement and entering the newly opened path, your character eventually falls into another basement. A cutscene then begins.

Inside the room are two people sitting in chairs while facing a large collection of monitors. Those screens show the different areas of the House map that you have been cleaning throughout the game.

The implication is that someone has been watching your entire cleaning session.

As you move closer, the people in the room are revealed to be the same friends who originally asked you to clean all the leaves. The ending suggests that there is much more going on behind the seemingly simple cleaning job.

The exact reason they have been watching you is still left unexplained, making the Secret Ending one of the game’s biggest mysteries.

Clean All the Leaves 100% Walkthrough: House Map

The House map should be approached in a specific order because several areas are locked behind previous completions.

Front Yard, Shed, Porch, Garage, and Court

The Shed, Frontyard, Porch, and Court are available when you first enter the House map. Start with the smaller areas because they are easy to clean by hand and allow you to earn enough money for better upgrades.

First, focus on improving your basic abilities. Max out your Hold, Dexterity, and Grasp before spending heavily on other equipment.

The Garage has an additional unlock requirement. Enter the Shed and look for the red button next to the leaf capacity upgrade. Press it to open the Garage.

For the Front Yard and Court, save your money for the Leaf Blower instead of buying the Rake. Once you have the blower, unlock the Vents near the Shed and Court. These are particularly useful because of their convenient positions.

Check these spots if an area refuses to reach 100%:

  • Corners
  • Under the Shed door
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Porch stairs
  • Under Court benches
  • Behind the basketball pole

Rooftop

The Rooftop becomes available after you have cleared the Frontyard, Garage, Porch, Shed, and Court.

Use the Leaf Blower to push leaves off the roof and then direct them toward the Vent near the door. You may need to deal with more than one wave before the area is completely finished.

One particularly annoying spot is the ladder leading to the roof. Leaves can become stuck around the ladder, and the Leaf Blower may not be able to move them properly.

If the Rooftop is sitting at 99%, walk around the ladder and pick up any remaining leaves manually.

Backyard, Pool, and Maze

After finishing the Rooftop, you will gain access to the Backyard, Pool, and Maze.

The Leaf Blower and Vents are enough to handle these areas, especially if you are still saving money. In the Pool area, activate the Vent and push leaves toward it instead of carrying everything manually.

If you already have the Molotov, there is a faster option. Gather a large pile of leaves in one corner and burn them together. You can also push leaves into the Pool before using the Molotov, allowing you to remove a large amount at once.

The Maze does not need the same approach. Activate its Vent and use the Leaf Blower to push the leaves toward it. Avoid trying to collect everything by hand because this takes considerably longer.

Pay attention to:

  • Backyard corners
  • Under benches
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Pool ladder
  • Maze corners

Farm

The Farm has a Vent near the swing, which makes this area relatively simple once you have a strong Leaf Blower.

Enter the Farm and close the doors so leaves do not accidentally move into another area. Then push the leaves toward the Vent.

If you cannot reach 100%, inspect the objects around the area carefully. Some leaves can hide in awkward locations, including:

  • Under the swing
  • Inside the bucket
  • Around the pumpkins
  • Corners of the Farm

Once the Farm reaches 100%, the Basement becomes available.

Basement

The Basement is the final House area and is one of the easiest places to get stuck at 99%.

There is no Leaf Trash Can or Vent inside, so carrying leaves out repeatedly is inefficient. Instead, equip your Leaf Blower and create a large pile of leaves in one corner.

Once the pile is large enough, use the Molotov to burn it.

The Basement contains two waves, but that is not the only thing you need to worry about. Additional leaves can randomly appear after the waves, meaning the area may look finished while still having a few leaves hidden somewhere.

Always inspect:

  • Basement stairs
  • Bookshelves
  • Corners
  • Dark areas around the walls

When the Basement finally reaches 100%, the secret sliding gate will open. Enter it and follow the path to trigger the Secret Ending.

What to Do If You Are Stuck at 99%

Being stuck at 99% usually means one or more leaves are hiding somewhere in the area. The game does not always make these leaves easy to see, especially when they become trapped behind objects or move into another section.

Start by checking the progress percentage of every House area. If even one zone is below 100%, you still have unfinished leaves somewhere. The Basement and Backyard/Pool are two of the most common places where this happens. For the Basement, carefully check:

  • Around the bookshelves
  • Basement stairs
  • Corners
  • Areas near the walls

For the Backyard and Pool, inspect:

  • Under the benches where the Molotov is purchased
  • Every corner
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Around the Pool ladder
  • Nearby areas connected by open doors

Also check whether you accidentally blew leaves through an open doorway. A leaf can sometimes travel into an adjoining area, making the original zone appear incomplete.

Clean All the Leaves 100% Walkthrough: Mansion Map

Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Guide: How to Get 100% Completion

The Mansion is much larger than the House and has several separate areas that unlock as you progress. Unlike the House, you do not need to find a Secret Ending here. Your main goal is to clear every section and complete the Maze at the end.

Front Yard, Porch, Right Alley [A], and Left Alley [A]

The first four Mansion areas are available immediately.

Begin by improving your Hand, then purchase the Leaf Blower. Put several upgrades into its Width, Power, and Spread. You can skip the Rake again.

You should also start saving for the Leaf Mower, which becomes one of your most useful tools later in the Mansion.

Increase your Leaf Capacity whenever you can. You probably will not be able to fully max it at this stage, but every extra capacity upgrade helps.

Look for leaves around:

  • Front Yard corners
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Around car wheels
  • Porch stairs
  • Porch corners
  • Alley corners
  • Behind Trash Cans

Clearing these four starting zones unlocks the Tennis Court and Pool.

Tennis Court and Basketball Court

The Tennis Court has two sides, with a Vent available on each side. Use the Leaf Blower to push the leaves toward these Vents for a quick clear.

The Leaf Mower also works, but it requires more trips back to the Trash Cans. For that reason, the Leaf Blower is generally more convenient here.

Once the Tennis Court reaches 100%, the Basketball Court opens.

The Basketball Court is smaller and can be cleared with either the Leaf Blower or Leaf Mower. Check the corners and areas around the net and basketball equipment before leaving.

Pool and Relaxation Court

The Pool is a good place to use the Leaf Mower. It can take longer, but the Trash Cans here provide money for each leaf, giving you more cash to spend on upgrades.

Once the Pool reaches 100%, the Relaxation Court opens.

This area works well with the Leaf Blower because there are several Vents. Push the leaves toward the Vents instead of repeatedly carrying them to the Trash Cans.

If the Relaxation Court stops at 99%, check around the:

  • Couch
  • Fireplace
  • Corners
  • Furniture

After completing this area, the final sections of the Mansion become available.

Backyard, Right Alley [B], Left Alley [B], and Statues

The Mansion Backyard contains several connected sections. At this point, the Leaf Mower should be your main tool because the areas have multiple Trash Cans and you should have a much larger Leaf Capacity.

Use the mower to clear the Backyard, Right Alley [B], Left Alley [B], and Statues.

Be particularly careful around:

  • Green belts
  • Stairs
  • Corners
  • Furniture
  • Benches
  • Statue areas

You can also use the Molotov if you prefer a faster and more destructive approach. Gather leaves into a pile and burn them instead of repeatedly making trips to the Trash Cans.

Maze

The Maze becomes available after you clear the Backyard, Right Alley [B], and Left Alley [B].

Unlike the other areas, the Maze does not contain leaves that you need to clean. Your objective is simply to find your way through it.

The important part is to follow the correct route. Getting lost can force you to restart the Maze, so pay attention to the path rather than randomly exploring every turn.

Once you reach the other end, the Mansion map is complete.

Clean All the Leaves 100% Walkthrough: Gas Station Map

The Gas Station map begins with four accessible areas and eventually expands into the interior, storage areas, Back Lot, and Roof. For this map, focus your money on the Leaf Mower and Leaf Capacity. Unlike the Mansion, you should avoid putting too much money into Leaf Blower upgrades.

Street, Bus Stop, Billboard, and Gas Station Entrance

Start with the Bus Stop and Billboard because they are small and can quickly provide enough money for early upgrades. Max out your Hand first, then move to the Street. Once you purchase the Leaf Blower, unlock the Vents around the Gas Station Entrance. Use the blower to clear the central sections and Gas Station Entrance.

Do not spend heavily on Leaf Blower upgrades. Save your money for the Leaf Mower and additional Leaf Capacity instead. Some leaves can be particularly annoying on the Street, especially around cars or leaves that fly outside the normal play area. If this happens, use your Hand to pick them up. Check the following locations:

  • Near cars
  • Around the Bus Stop bench
  • Under the Bus Stop bench
  • Billboard
  • Gas Station corners
  • Fuel pumps
  • Behind Trash Cans
  • Behind the 2x Leaves Buy board

Inside Gas Station, Restroom, and Staff Room

Once the starting areas are completed, the Inside Gas Station area opens. You can use the Leaf Blower and Vents or switch to the Leaf Mower. The best option depends on your upgrades, but both can handle the area effectively.

If the percentage stops at 99%, search behind the counters and around the refrigerators. Completing the Gas Station interior unlocks the Restroom and Staff Room. Both are relatively small, although they can contain multiple waves. The Leaf Mower is a reliable choice for quickly clearing these rooms.

Storage Room

The Storage Room becomes available after the Staff Room and Restroom are completely cleared. You can once again use either the Leaf Blower with a Vent or the Leaf Mower. The Storage Room contains several objects that can hide leaves, so do not leave immediately after the main pile is gone.

Check:

  • Corners
  • Around tools
  • Under shelves
  • Under the kitchen sink
  • Behind objects

These locations are worth checking whenever your progress stops at 99%.

Back Lot and Roof

After clearing the Storage Room, you can access the Back Lot and Roof. The Leaf Mower is the better choice for the Back Lot. Because there are cars, rocks, and Trash Cans around the area, using the Leaf Blower can accidentally push leaves underneath objects and make cleanup more annoying.

Make sure you have plenty of Leaf Capacity before starting. For the Roof, switch back to the Leaf Blower. Find the Vent in the middle of the Roof and push the leaves toward it. The Roof can have multiple waves, and some leaves may respawn after you think you have finished. Keep checking the area until the progress reaches 100%. Pay special attention to:

  • Roof corners
  • Under chairs
  • Areas around the Vent
  • Leaves that fall off the roof

Once the Roof is completely cleared, a UFO appears above the Gas Station and beams your character upward before flying away. This ending adds another mystery to Clean All the Leaves, although its exact meaning has not been fully explained. It could potentially become more important in a future update.

Clean All the Leaves 100% Completion Tips

If your goal is to finish all three maps as efficiently as possible, your tool choices make a big difference. Spending your money on the wrong equipment can make later areas much slower.

For the House, prioritize:

  • Hold upgrades
  • Dexterity upgrades
  • Grasp upgrades
  • Leaf Blower
  • Vents
  • Molotov
  • Avoid spending heavily on the Rake

For the Mansion, focus on:

  • Maxing the Hand
  • Leaf Blower Width
  • Leaf Blower Power
  • Leaf Blower Spread
  • Leaf Mower
  • Leaf Capacity

For the Gas Station, prioritize:

  • Hand upgrades
  • Leaf Blower for early areas
  • Leaf Mower
  • Maximum Leaf Capacity
  • Vents where useful
  • Avoid unnecessary Leaf Blower upgrades

Most importantly, do not assume an area is finished just because the main piles are gone. Leaves can hide under furniture, behind Trash Cans, near stairs, around vehicles, or even fly into another section. For the House map specifically, getting every area to 100% is required for the Secret Ending. Once the Basement is completely cleared, enter the newly opened sliding gate to see the hidden cutscene and unlock the Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Badge.
