Blox Fruits Update 30 brings a major change to progression, especially for players who have already reached the old level cap. The update adds the new Magnet Fruit, a redesigned First Sea, secret activities, awakened bosses, a new hourly event, and a completely new way to reach Level 3,000.

Instead of simply grinding enemies for every level, players now need to explore the First Sea and complete its hidden secrets. There are also new rewards to collect, so this update gives veteran players plenty of reasons to return to areas they may have already completed.

Magnet Fruit

Blox Fruits

The biggest addition in Update 30 is the new Magnet Fruit. This fruit focuses on controlling scrap and using magnetic abilities to pull enemies toward the player. It can also transform the user into a large mech, giving it a very different playstyle compared with many other fruits in Blox Fruits.

Its main mechanic is called Magnetic Power. You can build this power by collecting scrap around you, which causes the character’s arms to grow through three different stages. Each stage improves the fruit’s combat potential.

As Magnetic Power increases, your M1 attacks become stronger, combos can last longer, and your defense also improves. However, taking damage will drain the stored power, meaning you need to keep collecting scrap if you want to maintain the strongest version of the fruit.

At higher Magnetic Power stages, nearby enemies can also be pulled toward you automatically. This makes the fruit useful for controlling groups of enemies and setting up attacks without having to chase every target individually.

Magnet Fruit also has a flight ability and a special transformation called Maximum Overdrive. This transformation changes your moveset and provides a major reduction to incoming damage, making it one of the most important parts of the fruit’s kit.

First Sea Rework

Blox Fruits

Update 30 also completely refreshes the First Sea. All 16 islands have received redesigns, giving the area a different look and adding new things to discover while exploring.

The First Sea bosses have been updated as well. Some bosses now feature a secret awakened mode, creating additional encounters for players who thought they had already finished everything in this part of the game.

This means returning to the First Sea is no longer just about farming familiar enemies. There are now hidden activities and encounters that can provide additional progression and rewards.

40 First Sea Secrets

One of the most important parts of the update is the addition of 40 secrets scattered throughout the First Sea. These secrets are connected to the new progression system and can involve different types of activities.

You may encounter small puzzles, randomly appearing quests, unusual interactions, or special awakened boss battles. Because some of these activities are not immediately obvious, exploration is an important part of Update 30.

When exploring the islands, pay attention to NPCs, unusual locations, objects you can interact with, and activities that were not present before the rework. Completing these secrets is the main way to continue progressing after reaching the regular grinding limit.

How to Reach Level 3000

The normal grinding progression still stops at Level 1,800. However, Update 30 introduces Secret Levels, which allow players to progress beyond that previous limit.

Secret Levels are obtained by completing the secrets found throughout the First Sea. This creates a new progression system where exploration is just as important as combat.

By completing enough of the available secrets, you can continue increasing your level until reaching the new maximum of Level 3,000.

For players who are already Level 1,800, the recommended progression is therefore:

  • Explore the redesigned First Sea.
  • Find and complete the available secrets.
  • Complete secret quests and puzzles.
  • Defeat awakened bosses when they appear.
  • Continue tracking your secret progress.
  • Earn Secret Levels until you reach Level 3,000.

This also means you should not expect normal enemy grinding to take you from Level 1,800 to Level 3,000. The new level range is specifically tied to the secret system.

New World Map

After completing your first secret, you unlock a new World Map directly through the HUD. This feature makes exploring the First Sea much easier because it provides information about the islands and your secret completion progress.

The map can be used to navigate between islands while also keeping track of the secrets you have already completed. Instead of trying to remember everything you have discovered, you can use the map to see what still needs to be done.

For anyone trying to reach Level 3,000, this map should become one of your main tools during the update.

Secrets Master NPC

A new Secrets Master NPC has also been added to the First Sea. This character is connected to the secret system and apparently has a special secret of their own.

Because secrets are directly tied to the new level progression, finding and interacting with this NPC should be part of your First Sea exploration. Make sure to check the NPCs around the redesigned islands rather than focusing only on enemies and bosses.

Blox Fruits Gacha Changes

The Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer has moved to Middle Town in the First Sea. This makes the dealer easier to find while exploring the updated area.

There is also an important change to the regular gacha pool. Both Dragon East and Dragon West can now be rolled from the dealer.

This gives players another reason to check the regular gacha, especially if they are trying to obtain one of the Dragon variants.

Magnet Event

Update 30 introduces a new Magnet Event that takes place every hour. When the clock reaches 00 minutes, magnetic enemies begin spawning around the world.

These enemies use magnet-based abilities, making them different from regular enemies you encounter during normal gameplay. Defeating them rewards you with Magnet Tokens.

The tokens can then be spent at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer to roll the special Magnet Gacha.

If you want to maximize your event progress, pay attention to the beginning of every hour. This is when you should start searching for the magnetic enemies and collecting their tokens.

Magnet Gacha Rewards

The Magnet Gacha has a different reward pool from the normal gacha. It contains Uncommon or better fruits, meaning Common Fruits are removed from the available rewards.

There are also several exclusive rewards connected to the event, including:

  • Two accessories
  • One player profile background
  • A secret reward
  • A chance to reach the chase reward tier
  • Fruit skins

The chase reward tier is especially interesting for collectors because it contains several different fruit skins.

Magnet Fruit Skins

The chase reward tier includes the following skins:

  • Lime Blade
  • Topaz Diamond
  • Scarlet Ghost
  • Yellow Lightning
  • Starlight Gravity
  • Runic Fiend
  • Arcsteel Magnet

These skins give players another reason to participate in the Magnet Event even after obtaining the main gacha rewards.

The same reward tier can also be accessed through the Chromatic Gacha Box in the shop, giving collectors another method of working toward these cosmetic rewards.

New Interface Improvements

Update 30 does more than add gameplay content. Several parts of the Blox Fruits interface have also been redesigned to make the game easier to navigate.

The update introduces a new NPC dialogue interface, loading screen, team selection screen, HUD, and stats menu. Player profiles have also received additional features, including new tabs, friend indicators, and a search function.

Weapon dealers now allow you to preview weapons before purchasing them. Boat dealers have a similar preview system, allowing you to inspect ships you have unlocked.

Bosses also have a useful new feature. When approaching a boss, you can preview its potential drops before starting the fight. This makes it easier to decide whether a boss is worth farming for a specific item or reward.

Best Way to Start Update 30

Blox Fruits

If you are returning to Blox Fruits for Update 30, there is a simple progression route you can follow. Start by exploring the First Sea and focus on completing at least one secret as soon as possible.

Once your first secret is finished, the World Map becomes available. From there, use the map to track your progress and locate the remaining secrets across the redesigned islands.

At the same time, keep an eye on the clock. The Magnet Event starts at the beginning of every hour, so you can switch between secret hunting and collecting Magnet Tokens depending on the current event cycle.

A good routine is:

  • Complete First Sea secrets to gain Secret Levels.
  • Use the World Map to track your progress.
  • Search for awakened boss encounters.
  • Join the Magnet Event at the start of each hour.
  • Defeat magnetic enemies to collect Magnet Tokens.
  • Spend your tokens on Magnet Gacha rolls.
  • Work through the remaining secrets to push toward Level 3,000.
  • Check the new NPCs and redesigned islands for additional discoveries.

Blox Fruits Update 30 changes the endgame by moving progression beyond traditional grinding. The old Level 1,800 grinding limit is still important, but players can now reach Level 3,000 by completing secrets throughout the redesigned First Sea.

The Magnet Fruit and hourly Magnet Event also give players new combat and collection activities, while the 40 secrets, awakened bosses, gacha rewards, and interface improvements add more content to explore.

If you have already reached the old level cap, the best thing to do is start exploring the First Sea again. Complete secrets, use the new World Map to track your progress, participate in the hourly Magnet Event, and gradually work your way toward the new Level 3,000 maximum.
