When Does Blox Fruits Update 30 Come Out?
Blox Fruits Update 30 is scheduled to release on September 5, 2026. The update is set to go live at 8 AM PST, 11 AM EST, 3 PM GMT, and 4 PM CET. The release has been confirmed through the official Update 30 event page, which has already attracted more than one million interested players.

This update is especially important because it is not only adding a new Fruit. Sea 1 is also receiving a large-scale redesign that changes how players explore the early part of the game. What Does the Blox Fruits Update 30 Trailer Show?
The Update 30 trailer starts by showing off the new Magnet Fruit through a combat scene. The footage gives players a look at its magnetic abilities, including its scrap-based mechanics, enemy control, and transformation. The Fruit appears to have a playstyle focused heavily on pulling enemies and using collected scrap to increase its power.
The second part of the trailer focuses on the Sea 1 rework. Several islands receive completely redesigned environments, making the first sea look more detailed and active than before. How Does the Magnet Fruit Work in Blox Fruits?
The Magnet Fruit introduces a different mechanic compared with many existing Fruits. Its main feature is Magnetic Power, which becomes stronger when the player collects scrap around the game world. As your Magnetic Power increases, the Fruit’s arms become larger and its basic attacks become more powerful.
There are three Magnetic Power stages in total. Each stage improves the Fruit’s performance, including stronger M1 attacks and longer combos. However, the mechanic is not permanent because taking damage can reduce your Magnetic Power and may even cause you to drop down to an earlier stage.
Magnetic Pull Passive
Magnet Fruit also has a passive ability called Magnetic Pull. This passive improves as your Magnetic Power increases, giving the Fruit additional control over nearby enemies.
The passive works across three stages:
- Stage 1: No additional effect.
- Stage 2: Nearby enemies are pulled toward you.
- Stage 3: The pull becomes stronger and affects a larger area.
This makes Magnetic Power important for both damage and crowd control. Keeping your power level high should allow the Fruit to perform better during longer fights.
Magnet Fruit Moveset
The Magnet Fruit has a moveset built around magnetic projectiles, cages, scrap, enemy pulling, and mobility. Several attacks also have different effects depending on whether you tap or hold the ability button.
Scrap Arsenal [Z]
The Z ability can be used in two different ways. Tapping the button launches magnetic projectiles that pull enemies toward you. Multiple projectiles can stack their effect, increasing the pull strength and area damage.
Holding the Z button changes the attack into a laser aimed at a single target. Successfully hitting the target gives the attack additional damage, making it useful when you want to focus on one enemy.
Magnetic Overcharge [X]
The X ability creates a magnetic cage around an enemy, trapping them for several seconds. This gives you an opportunity to continue your combo while the opponent has limited movement.
Holding the X button produces a stronger version of the attack. The charged version has increased range and damage, giving it more value when you need to catch enemies from farther away.
Polarizing Drop [C]
The C ability allows the Magnet Fruit to manipulate enemies and scrap. When tapped, it pulls an opponent upward before smashing them into the ground and dealing damage.
Holding the ability automatically gathers scrap around your character. This can be useful for maintaining or building your Magnetic Power during combat.
Magnet Fruit [F]
The F ability gives the Fruit additional utility. Tapping it allows you to grab an enemy, and successfully catching one will force them to unequip their sword.
Holding F activates free flight. However, getting hit while flying disables the flight ability. While airborne, pressing F again lets you fire your mechanical arms toward another player.
Magnet Fruit Maximum Overdrive Transformation
The Magnet Fruit also comes with a V transformation called Maximum Overdrive. When activated, your character transforms into a robot that can withstand more damage. The transformation changes several of the Fruit’s existing abilities and provides a new combat style.
One of the biggest advantages is its powerful attacks and improved mobility. The robot form also has special interactions with lightning attacks, while several transformed abilities cannot be cancelled once activated.
Transformed Scrap Arsenal [Z]
Tapping Z in the transformed state launches missiles with aim assistance, making the attack easier to direct toward enemies.
Holding Z instead fires a continuous blast in a straight line. This attack can also be used while flying, giving the transformed Magnet Fruit another option for attacking opponents from the air.
Transformed Magnetic Overcharge [X]
The transformed X ability fires a powerful blast that explodes around its target when tapped. Holding X changes the attack into an ability that pulls nearby enemies toward the robot while dealing damage.
This makes the ability useful for both damage and controlling groups of opponents.
Transformed Polarizing Drop [C]
Tapping C gathers a large pile of scrap before throwing it into the ground, creating area damage around the impact point.
Holding C changes the move into a spinning attack. Your robot rotates like a tornado while dealing damage to enemies around it.
Transformed F Ability
The transformed F ability keeps the sword-removing grab from the normal moveset. Holding F activates free flight, but the robot version moves considerably faster.
The transformation also has a special V-button function. Pressing V again ejects your character from the robot. The robot then pulls enemies toward it before exploding itself, creating a final attack around the area.
Important: The transformed X and C abilities cannot be cancelled once they are activated.
What’s Different in the Blox Fruits Sea 1 Rework?
The Sea 1 rework is another major part of Update 30. Instead of simply adding new content to the existing world, the developers have redesigned the islands throughout the first sea.
The updated islands are more detailed and visually improved, giving Sea 1 a more developed appearance. Several other systems are also being updated, including NPC conversations, the HUD, and purchasing menus.
Some of the confirmed Sea 1 changes include:
- NPC dialogue options have been updated.
- Sword Dealers allow players to examine swords before buying them.
- Boat Dealers allow players to inspect boats before purchasing.
- The HUD has received an update.

Island Secrets in Sea 1

Update 30 also adds a new World Map that helps players track their progress through Sea 1. Each island contains three different secrets for players to discover.
Every completed secret gives the island one star on the World Map. This means an island can have:

How Do Island Teleporters Work?
Island teleporters are designed to make traveling through Sea 1 much easier. Instead of repeatedly sailing between islands, players who complete the required exploration progress can use the unlocked teleporters to move around more efficiently.
The more secrets you discover and the more teleporters you unlock, the easier it becomes to travel through the first sea. This gives Island Secrets an actual long-term purpose instead of making them simple collectibles.
For players who spend a lot of time farming, completing quests, or returning to older islands, these teleporters could save a significant amount of travel time.
What Is the Magnet Event in Blox Fruits?
Update 30 also introduces a new event connected to the Magnet Fruit. During the Magnet Event, magnetic enemies can appear around the islands. These enemies are different from normal mobs because some of them can use their own magnetic abilities.
Defeating the magnetic enemies rewards players with Magnetic Tokens. These tokens can then be spent on the Magnet event’s gacha system to obtain rewards.
One notable difference is that the updated gacha system does not allow players to roll for Common Fruits. This makes the event’s reward pool different from a standard Fruit-based system and gives the Magnetic Tokens their own purpose.
